The trial of the infamous Sarah Palin email hacker is underway.
The defendant, David Kernell, managed to figure out Sarah Palin's super dooper top secret question that allowed the password on her personal Yahoo! email account (where she conducted government business), to be reset. One can only imagine the long hours of pacing, and brain straining it took to come up with the answer to.... "Where did you meet your spouse?" Google reveals all.
On Wednesday's witness list were then Governor Palin's designated attack dog Ivy Frye, top aide and keeper of the secrets Frank Bailey, and daughter Bristol, who has apparently taken lessons from Dear Ol' Mom about how to play the victim card to its maximum dramatic potential.

ReplyDeleteAKM did a marvelous job at pointing out the inconsistencies and outright lies. Loved that she included aerial views of where the Palin compound is located. Sure takes the wind out of Bristol's testimony,

Wish HuffPo had given the AKM essay a bigger play than just a left sidebar because her piece in not opinion - it contains crucial facts that refute the testimony given!
Everyone is bent out of shape about this. I'm sure if the kid gets a raw deal he can always get a Presidential pardon from Obama.

Bristol says she sent her parents a pic of Trig eating solid food for the first time and the hacking of the email account exposed this picture and her phone number? Trig would have been 4 to 5 months old. Sarah said later (when Trig was a year and 1/2) that he was not eating solid foods or talking. Plus, right as they went on the campaign trail, when was Trig sent back home to be taken care of by Bristol? Bristol disappeared from sight after being outted as pregnant, but Trig was very much in evidence on the campaign trail: pictures of him everywhere at various stops (just google it) and they are dated AP photos. In addition, he was the luck recipient of a wardrobe and accessories purchased for him by the RNC from exclusive, top of the line baby shops. So when exactly did this hacking occur and when was Bristol babysitting Trig?

We need more money to go into solar and wind! We need that now.
You know in a way, I'm finding this incredibly sad. I always knew Sarah was a pathologic liar. Even in high school she would lie and cause scenes to get what she wanted. She was not popular because she was mean and because of this lying. Everyone knew about it. People were afraid of her even then because you never knew what she would do to get back to you.
ReplyDeleteBut now just I'm floored. Even though I don't like her I thought she was a good mom as far as loving and caring about her kids. I though Sarah was Christian. But here she has taught her daughter to lie and be vindictive like her.
What kind of mother does that? What kind of Christian does that? Even if the boy was wrong.

another thing I wonder is why aren't Sherrie and Mercedes talking about Trig and the truth around this story. Agreement or not, what more could Sarah do. Please talk. It's time. Please. Stop the madness and the damage evil Sarah is doing to her family and to her country

1. What is the 'agreement' between the Johnstons and Palins, and what is the story of Trig?
2. And what made SP such a mean person even as a kid? What in her family history was so dysfunctional that made her hate so much and try at all costs to bring other people down?
And to your comment at being surprised that she's not the mom she pretneds to be, well she's a good actress, we all know that. But if SP was a good mom, her kids would behave, not be involved with criminal activities and drugs and sex and would show some academic or other achievement besides excelling at getting wasted out of their minds.
Sure, many good parents have one kid who may be troubled for, who knows, genetic reasons--but to have them roll out, one right after another, on cue, and exhibit terribly uncontrolled destructive and self-destructive behavior--well, that speaks to the parents. She's 3 for 3 at the moment. And seeing as Piper appears to get no education and is a 24/7 witness to her mother spewing hate about others, it's likely that she may turn out to be the most dysfunctional of the bunch, sadly.
And Todd, who knows, he must be an enabler co-dependent. He doesn't seem as unChristian as SP, but then who knows because he's so behind the scenes, however he is involved in them.
Sure most kids smoke pot and party/drink--but they do so while exceling on sports teams and doing well in school and going to college or medical school or whatever. Palin's kids appear to be building no future except riding on her name and her money and whatever money they can earn from her fame. It seems that they appear to have had no measurable success in their lives. Sad. No wonder they drink and act out, it's all about SP all the time.
It's normal for high schoolers to party, but to have all these behaviors lumped together with violence/vandalism/self-destructive behavior and lots of very young-random sex--and no history of academic achievement...well that's the parents' fault and clearly SP has ignored her kids' needs to fulfill her own, and used them for her needs, and mostly as props.
Any insights you can provide would be welcome.
Daiseydem, that is a brilliant point. So, Bristol's cell phone picture revealed her phone number AND a picture of Trig? When Trig was on the campaign trail with Sarah? That's what they're bent about! It's not that Kernell read stuff about Sarah using her private account for state business; everybody knows that Sarah ignored things like that: MSNBC proved it when they released all the Todd emails. It's about a picture that reveals that Ruffles was home with Mama Bristol while Show Trig was paraded on stage!
ReplyDeleteTrig's first bite of solids at 4-5 months? Smack in the middle of the campaign when Bristol was home, or anyway not on the campaign trail? And during the book tour, Sarah was saying that Trig wasn't taking solids yet! And that's far more likely to be the truth because DS babies DO have a hard time with eating owing to the weakened oral musculature. That's why they get speech therapy, so they can learn to eat in a way that strengthens the weakened muscles and reduces the chance of the tongue-sticking-outiness and the narrowed oral arch of the hard palate.
And now the prosecuting attorney is opposing the revealing of the emails that Kernell has already seen, on the grounds that this lets him see them twice. But it also lets the attorneys see them and if they're entered into evidence, are they concealed from the public? You know we'd all be looking at that picture of Trig with his "first bite of solid food" to see if it was the little guy with Down Syndrome or little Ruffle-ear. And it would have a date on it, too! A date that can be tracked to the campaign schedule!
There were TWO TRIGS. Gravida 2, Para 1 Bristol stayed home to take care of one, little Ruffles, while the Show Baby went on to star as Sarah's Prop. Sarah's doing everything she can to conceal the presence of precious Ruffles during this trial. That's why they won't reveal that picture! I'd bet money that this is what's happening!

His/her phone number is at the bottom: 865-342-6308. You can email Satterfield from the newspaper's website (email address is not disclosed, ironic, eh? given the nature of the trial in process). I emailed already just encouraging a little investigative reporting about certain discrepancies in the stories they might be hearing.
