Blogger covers Palin's Boston Teabagger speech in hilarious fashion.

Below is an excerpt but you can read the entire thing here.

11:00 a.m. - Just took a long step back and climbed a hill at the back of this thing, and it is patently clear the anti-'Bagger crowd outnumbers the Tea Partiers by at least three to one. This looks like an anti-war rally when you get away from the 2,000 people near the stage. Hilarious

11:05 a.m. - Palin is on, but the microphone just cut out. Can't hear a word she's saying. Hand to God, she's yowling into a dead mike, and I'm surrounded by sunburned white people asking each other "What did she say?" There is comedy, there is high comedy, there is sublime
comedy...and there is this. Oh man. God is Love.

11:15 a.m. - The audio is working in fits and starts. I just heard "...ill, baby, dri.." before it crapped out again. Even at half volume, Palin's voice is like fingernails across the chalkboard of my soul. People are pretty pissed they can't hear anything from Ms. Duh. The crowd is breaking up.

11:15 a.m. - The rhetorical blue balls felt by the crowd is palpable.
Everyone came to hear Palin, but unless you were standing next to her, she was utterly inaudible. The crowd is dispersing in every direction, but there's still a guy on stage screeching about protesting on YouTube. This thing was supposed to last until 1pm, but it appears the show is over. It's early, but damn, I need a drink. Wait...is that Russia?

(Much thanks to author Williams River Pitt for explaining what was really happening on the ground at this rally.)

  1. I'm really pleased to hear there were more anti-bagger protesters than actual teabag idiots at this event. That's very heartening. Hopefully the media will cover these counter protests.

fox is already reporting that there are 10,000 people there. AP says 5,000. I am so sick of hearing "Thousands listen to Palin", why would they have to hear her she says the same thing at every rally, good grief.

    LOL it ends this way.

1:25 a.m. - OK, this is Boston, right? You'd assume someone told the 'Bagger organizers where they were, right? Wrong. They just closed the show with someone singing "New York, New York" by Sinatra, but with anti-Obama lyrics...except that's the song the Yankees play at the end of every home game, and the crowd of Red Sox fans here knows that full well. People reacted to the song like scalded cats, and in seconds, the singer had the Common almost completely to himself. You really can't make this stuff up. Cheers, and thanks for reading.

  6. Reading that guy's blogging of the event had me laughing. I'm very tempted to go see SP in the flesh when she comes to Austin April 29th at the Convention Center ...but I just can't get over the idea of having to pay $50 or $100 knowing it will just go into her pocket is stopping me. Now if I can figure out a way to get in for free.... :-D

So NO ONE, so far, has reported that the rally (if that's what it actually is being called) was a bust because of the audio system OR that the crowd left early because no one could hear the Swag-Hag...

SOMEONE needs to get the message to the media that this clown-show was a disaster !!

And the red jacket was bought for her for the McCain campaign. She still has ALL the clothes.

Liar, liar, pants on fire...as always.

    Really funny commentary, though!

What I loved was when she mentioned 'the midnight run'. I didn't realize that Paul Revere was the man who ran the first Boston Marathon. We need to honor him on Monday, Patriots Day, here in Mass when it is run again.

Some fun poetry (and future protest signage)I found on Huffpost:

9 simple pages with 22 clauses,
from really big planes to bendable strawses,

water that's still and straws that are bendy,
    Sarah's made quitting poliitically trendy!

I am sick and tired of hearing CNN and other media say "She talks for a lot of Americansa", the woman is a moron who can only read sound bites. Are you kidding me. Why are they giving her any credibility?

"It looks like an anti-war rally". So, in other words the tea partiers were just standing listening to her but the three to one ratio of the protestors were acting like the ones at anti-war rallies. I guess that means that 75% of the people were throwing things and burning effigies, and being unruly. Tsk, tsk and then they call tea partiers violent. How many of these violent protestors were arrested?

By William River Pitt's own admission the 2,000 tea partiers were law abiding and the rest were not. Who are the violent ones now? You know he is right his post is hilarious.

OK, so we have the account of this blogger from Truthout, and then we have the story as told on huffpo. Which one is correct? Was there an audio problem or was there not? Was the 'rally' cut short or not? Were there more anti-demonstrators than baggers?

Today Chris Matthews reported that there were 10,000 people at the rally! Said nothing about anti Palin people! This is MSNBC we are talking about not FAUX News. What in the world of common sense is Matthews trying to do - build the witch up. People watching need to hear accurate facts from somewhere. This woman is a pyrania (sp?) but you all know what I mean.

How does one find a schedule of this bus tour? I'd like to attend one and see for myself - maybe take an anti palin sign. Does anyone know. I'm not that great with a computer to look things up, but I love this blog. Keep up the good work.

  15. Ha! What a description of events!

Palin is on,she's yowling into a dead mike.."What did she say?" Even at half volume, Palin's voice is like fingernails across the chalkboard of my soul. The rhetorical blue balls felt by the crowd is palpable.
People are pretty pissed they can't hear anything from Ms. Duh.

Gryphen, when will this woman's true intentions and lack of credibility ever be revealed? It has become so utterly ridiculous that this unethical and stupid woman has been given a platform...
