Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

Hit show "Glee" has a liberal bias? Man I knew there was something about that show that I just loved!
Yeah kids stop watching this high school teen musical or you may find that your mind has been opened, that you find racism repugnant, and you are not ashamed of your sexuality. In other words you might be turned into a thinker instead of a believer, a progressive instead of a regressive, and person who sees the glass as half full instead of filled with liberal poison.
And hey, we have good music too!

love love love this show! Jane Lynch as the psycho cheer coach is brilliantly hilarious.
ReplyDeleteand some of those "kids" are immensely talent.
I'm hugely impressed with "Rachel" and was so happy to see Idina menzel on as a guest this year, as this is exactly who "Rachel" always reminds of.
I laughed hysterically when he coach made a slam on Sarah Palin a couple of weeks ago.
Anyone who has missed "The Good Wife," I have seen them slam Palin several time this season.
She is a national joke!
Gee, glad Fox News complained about it.
ReplyDeleteI had not watched as yet. Now I will make a point to do so.
Didn't Glenn Beck say his show is "just entertainment" when criticized for his bizarre fringe rants?
Well, Fox - Glee is "just entertainment." Deal with it.
I think Glee is going to see a ratings boost!
The anti-Glee folks are idjuts with no sense of humor. They're missing some great entertainment and rich moral lessons, many of which, even they could applaud.
ReplyDeleteFWIW, pacifist me also loves 24, as long as I cover my eyes during the bloody scenes.
Sue Sylvester is my hero for recognizing the true value and place of cheerleaders in high school society and she idolizes Madonna!
ReplyDeleteI've never watched it. Now I'm going to check the guide and find it, LOL
ReplyDeletefyi, Gleeks know that the writers definitely read the blogs because Idina's character (sponsor of the rival group, Vocal Adrenalin) is EXACTLY what had been suggested. For those who aren't as familiar with the show, Rachel (Lea Michelle, an actual Broadway Baby) lives with her two gay dads and is the product of a donor egg. Since she & Idina bear a remarkable resemblance to each other, fanblogs have been lobbying for Idina to either actually be, or have Rachel think she is, Rachel's bio mom. (Are you confused yet?)
ReplyDeleteAnd if I might be so bold, one of my Gleeky little granddaughters in an homage to Rachel, because Lea Michelle looks like her own mommy.

The "kids" are talented, but Jane Lynch completely makes the show.
