From TPMuckraker:
Charges were brought against Lakin April 22, and a commanding officer appointed of what is known as an Article 32 pre-trial investigation, which has similarities to a grand jury investigation in a civilian case.
The Article 32 hearing will be on the morning of June 11 at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, where Lakin is based, the American Patriot Foundation said in a press release.
Gee I guess you have to follow orders in the military even if the President is black. Imagine that.
About time!
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine if soldiers refused 3rd, 4th, and 5th deployments to Iraq under the Bush admin? They would have been sent to GitMo.
Unbelievable that a career officer would throw his career and his honor on a foolish concept.
ReplyDeleteHowever, that said, I think the military will be better off without willfully ignorant officers. I wonder if he is also one of the ones who evangelizes his men. Wouldn't be at all surprised because Birthers and fringey Xhristians seem to go hand-in-hand (oh, my I bet he would hate that phrase, also, too).
I know we all know this, but I have to type it anyway.
ReplyDeleteLakin is an ignorant, racist, coward. He needs to spend the rest of his miserable life in the deepest hole Ft. Levenworth has.
he will be fried,,, the UCMJ (uniform code of military justice) will see to it.

Gee I guess you have to follow orders in the military even if the President is black.
ReplyDeleteThis is like so totally uninformed.
Show me in the constitution where it say's that! If the founding fathers (all of which are my favorite's) wanted Amurken's to follow order's from black people, they would have put that in writing into the declaration of independence, and printed it on all the 5-dollar bill's under Lincolns pitcher.
The 2008 election was rilly intrestin', what with both major partie's presidential candidate's being illegal by virtchew of bein' born outside of the country. The end time's are comin' soon, you betcha.
Gryphen, did you see AC360 when Anderson tried to interview him and the lawyer took over? When he FINALLY did speak, it was typical teabagger stumble mumble....
ReplyDeleteOh, and Keith revealed tonight that the dingbat's visit to Chicago was sponsired by a backup sump pump company. How deliciously ironic..

What if Sarah goes rogue and says it out loud: "Hey, real Americans living in real America, the sainted founding fathers NEVER intended this great land to have a dark-hued president. Read the Bible or the Constitution or my book, or whatever!"
ReplyDeleteYou KNOW she wants to! And of course, she's right. But Sarah, they never intended for womanfolk to vote, either, so sit down and shut up! And while youre at it, stop making stuff up!
He should be tried for treason,we are at war!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHe should lose everything pension health benifits everything.Look at how may of our men and women go without much thought because they are asked to!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis man is a raving lunatic and doesn't DESERVE to represent MY country in war or peace time.
ReplyDeleteI say strip him of everything... every honor, every pin on his uniform, pension, salary, vacation time, EVERYTHING... and then dishonorably discharge him, while asking him to leave his uniform on the way out.
Leave this idiot with NOTHING for having defied the orders of his Commander in Chief.
This whole birther thing just gets more and more ridiculous as time goes on.
If this man won't believe his own country (Hawaii affirmations, Congress' agreement, SCOTUS refusal to hear this nonsense), he has absolutely NO BUSINESS representing it.
Sickening and pathetic.
I want one birther... Just ONE.. to give a coherent explanation as to why the Hawaii Dept. of Health would publish in TWO newspapers the birth of some guy in Kenya as having taken place in the U.S.
ReplyDeleteRemember, this guy ("born in Kenya") has no socially affluent, political, corporate or otherwise "elite" family at the time of his birth.
In other words, no real reason to defy law and honesty. If his last name was, say, Kennedy or Rockefeller and he was born in Kenya, a "cover up" might be attempted because of the family "name" and reasonably assumed path in life. What Kennedy, when born, wasn't immediately proclaimed the future POTUS?
But for an Obama?
Please!
