Loved "stupid" as a label or tag. Gosh, I think we could use that for every posting on Sarah.

Just read a review of her appearance in Independence, MO over the weekend. Same old, same old. She sure isn't spending any money on speech writers.

Artist could have put a sign in the puddle... "Gulf of Palin" or "Lake Sarah"

Sarah is still correct that drilling is the right thing to do. It just needs to be done safely and we need to hold the oil companies accountable.

I can't imagine anyone in Alaska would be against it, since most of you wouldn't have two pennies to rub together if it weren't for oil money.

When Sarah fell in the scree on one of her half marathons with the Secret Service, that one shameful and humiliating skeleton in her closet (other than the bad grade she got at one of her colleges)was that she bled oil.

Why else would she swear the Secret Service to secrecy?

It is not accurate to conclude that Alaskans only hope for income is oil. How very short-sighted, uninformed and insulting to the creative, environmentally-sensitive Alaskans.

I believe Alaskans are no longer hampered by the one-note vision of outside corporations whose lazy view of the world is to take a natural resource and exploit it into oblivion. Only those who are lazy or thoughtless fall into that trap. The growing majority of

Alaskans are embracing alternatives that will sustain and enhance their environment and reap financial rewards for them as the rest of the world ruins its wild places, pure waters, and clean air.

Drilling is the technology of the past, and its yields are diminishing at the same time its negatives are growing. We have to move away from oil - both foreign and domestic. We are a smart people. We can do this if we choose to do so. It is the choice that is key.

YOU do know that oil (no matter where it is drilled) goes on a commodities market, right? It is obvious that stupid $arah doesn't know this.
AND that OPEC pretty much regulates the price of the oil in this market? It isn't like oil drilled in the US ONLY is sold in the US. It's just that we are the ones that suffer from the spills, and the destruction of our habitat.
I don't believe that we will ever be totally weaned of oil but, if we invested in more wind and solar energy, we would find ourselves less dependent on it.

Drilling safely, and accountable oil companies? Dare to dream.
Umtil that happy day, dig out your hip-waders, Palin, you got a clean up on aisle Gulf of Mexico.
