I like a good parody as much as anybody, and some of the fake tweets on this account are pretty funny, but I think we need to make sure that EVERYBODY knows these are not actually the work of the REAL Mr. McGinniss.
Of course only a complete imbecile would believe it was actually him, which of course perfectly describes EVERY SINGLE ONE of Sarah Palin's followers.
Hmm maybe I should have waited until Sarah's Facebook ghostwriter hammered out Palin's indignation in a batshit crazy venom spewing post before I provided this dose of reality.
Ahh it probably won't make much difference anyhow, those people would not recognize reality if it ran up and bit them right on their Palin worshipping asses.
I found these fake tweets to be distasteful, vulgar and gutter level mocking McGinnis and Palin. Worse they drag McGinniss down to the lowest level invoking these come from him. In general it is laughter at the expense of sexual degradation and humiliation dragging Haley and Todd to the gutter too. Not my choice of humor.

ReplyDeletePalin offers inane comments on people and events. You cannot parody that which is already parody. It would have worked better as humor ala Prairie Home Companion (Wasilla--Alaska's version of Lake Woebegone, where all the children are below average).
ReplyDeleteSome of the tweets are funny, some aren't. Typical fake Twitter account. Palin inspires gutter humor, seems to be what she wants. If she didn't want people to think of her as a sexual object, she wouldn't greet guests while she's wearing only a towel, wouldn't appear on Runner's World cover wearing shorts and hose! Who wears hose while they run? Also, too, she wouldn't mention on Facebook that she had on her shorts and tank top or dress and act as she did at Belmont. If somebody wants respect, they better act like it.

ReplyDeleteWhat's funny is that Sarah Palin's FB post about mowing the lawn in a tank top and shorts with a "peeping tom" next door seems more of a parody than those fake tweets.
ReplyDeleteThe difference is that Joe McG has more class than to post anything like those tweets while Sarah Palin actually did post that FB entry.
