Risking accusations of being all “Wee-Wee’d Up“, one Homer woman made a sign in her shed. She then took the 30 foot by 3 foot banner out to the boat harbor. It said “WORST GOVERNOR EVER“. Kathleen Gustafson is a teacher married to a local commercial fisherman. She felt like Sarah Palin had let the state down by becoming a dollar-chasing celebrity and ignoring the oath of office she’d sworn on a Bible.
Kathleen was motivated by the fact Palin was using the very place where her family makes a living to fortify the Palin personality cult-pretending to do the very thing they worked so hard to sustain. Initially, Kathleen just wanted to waste a little of the camera crew’s time, since Palin wasted so much of her time purporting to represent Alaska’s interests.
She didn’t imagine Palin would be so easy to draw out.
For anybody who wants to get a glimpse of the REAL Sarah Palin, Shannyn Moore's post, and the accompanying video, are a must see!
(By the way Bristol is also in the video, and though she is wearing a jacket, it appears that the rumors about her pregnancy may turn out to be just that, rumors.)
Update: It appears that a local reporter was also left singed by his brush with Palin and her minions.
Update 2: Okay I watched that video a couple of more times, and now I am not at all sure that was Bristol in the red jacket. That may very well have been Willow. Sometimes those two girls look SO much alike. (Okay that is DEFINITELY Willow. I slowed the video down and when she looks directly at the camera there is no doubt. Sorry for the confusion, when I was first tipped off that this video existed the tipper had already identified the girl as Bristol, and I guess I did not have my early morning eyes focused well enough to notice the mistake.)

It appears Palin needed to make a preemptive strike via FB spinning Sarah is in Homer "busting her ass" catching Halibut for the family business. Her Fakebook rants are one thing, I didn't think she conducted herself like that in public. Willow has been documented as a tough girl, bully and agitator before.
Bristol or Willow, they are acting according to how they were raised. She was fulfilling the role of provocateur. This is not the first time a scene like that has been played out. Great to have the video. She was trying to get Kathleen Gustafson to sink to their level and look bad. That is what thugs that do that routine are about. Kathleen didn't take the bait. Both Gustafson and Billy Sullivan are heroes.

ReplyDeleteI am willing to contribute to the signs, let me know. I think this will add some strain on the part of TLC to refrain from filming it if they are all over. Remember these bullies can take down one sign,but hundreds. Plus, those of you who are familiar with commercial fishing should continue combating her lies with the truth. I thought it was hysterical when one poster said that you couldn't see halibut being baited. So now, Sarah can see the bottom of the ocean, just as she can see Russia. Tell people that she has no license to fish for halibut.
I would love to see those signs also support Mrs. Gustafson. Sarah had no right to ridicule her. Mrs. G. had class when she stood her ground. Kudos to the poster who said that maybe Sarah's non-supporters should start exercising their Second Amendment rights. Remember what her followers tried to do with Joe McGinnis. Please do the signs.
That is not Willow it is Bristol. you can see the length and darkness of her hair peeking out of the hood she has on. Someone mentioned she's taller than Sarah so it can't be her, but look again, Bristol isn't standing, she's half leaning/half sitting on something behind her.

ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'm not so sure Sarah was being condescending with her eye rolls in response to the woman's comment about being a teacher. Inside Sarah lies a very insecure little person -- nothing close to what she tries to put on the outside. I think she saw that this woman wasn't some piece of trailer trash, and knew she wasn't of the mindset of one of her hopelessly gullible followers. This woman saw through her bogus facade and Sarah knew it. I think her look was one of intimidation, actually. Sarah's not used to having to face REAL criticism. For so long she's hid behind the safety of scripted communications, Meg Stapleton, and Fox News. This woman simply wasn't buying Sarah's bullshit and Sarah knew it. Hence Sarah's petty attempts to bring her down a notch with her childish taunts.
How anyone could see this child anywhere near any existing public office is beyond me...
