Author Geoffrey Dunn shines a light on one of Sarah Palin's most troubling advisers.

(Pictured at left is Randy Scheunemann with Sarah Palin)

From the Huffington Post:

According to sources close to the Palin camp, Scheunemann plays a major role in advising Palin on foreign policy issues as she positions herself for a run at the White House in 2012. As Ben Smith of Politico pointed out, it was Scheunemann who drafted Palin's first major foreign policy speech in Hong Kong a year ago. Scheunemann accompanied Palin overseas to that engagement.

FEC records indicate that Palin's political action committee, SarahPAC, is paying Scheunemann's Virginia-based Orion Strategies $10,000 per month and has expended $90,000 to date for his services.

As the media focus on Palin disintegrates into discussions about Spanx girdles, alleged remarks about her daughter Bristol's marriage plans and the mistaken identity of her infant son at a campaign event two years ago, Palin is readying herself for a major 9/11 rally this weekend with Glenn Beck in Anchorage (with a second one in her hometown of Wasilla) at which she will be shoring up her foreign policy credentials as the most vital mouthpiece of the conservative, evangelical wing of the Republican Party.

Geoffrey's article pulls from the shadows one of the many puppeteers behind Sarah Palin's career, and her bizarre unconventional path toward a Presidential campaign in 2012. Believe me, Randy Scheunemann is NOT somebody you keep around to help you choose which book to write or which reality show you appear on next.

I urge you to read Mr. Dunn's entire post as it will give you much of the information you need to decide what Sarah Palin's plans are for 2012.

This asshat tried to get McCain to start a war with Russia over the former Soviet state of Georgia. Remember? "We are all Georgians now" BS??

And Randy was the PAID shill for the Georgian government.

He is a very bad man.

If his job is to make Sarah Palin at least sounds like she knows something, Randy Scheunemann really needs to be fired. And speech writer? If she actually pays someone to write those so called speeches, she isn't getting much for her money.

She, once again, demonstrates that she has poor judgment. Selecting this bizarre adviser is not in her or the country's best interests.

It's true. You are judged by the company you keep - for good reason in this case.

The biggest neocon of all- Joseph Lieberman-has been ingratiating himself to Palin ever since McCain chose her for VP. Neocon Bill "I'm always wrong" Kristol, of course, first discovered Palin's potential.

Palin wants Jesus back and the neocons want another war-a match made in heaven!

I will definitely go read Dunn's piece, and thanks for the heads-up, but I still don't think she's going to run in 2012.

Even if she did, I don't think she'd make it out of the starting gate.

interestingly, there is a piece at Wonkette this a.m.
"God orders random guy to create Palin 2012 project"

She's not doing this for nothing. What offshore account are they using?

  8. OT.......but funny........way to go Arnold...lol

While flying to Asia last night, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger took some time to poke fun at Sarah Palin via Twitter. As you can see from his tweet below, Schwarzenegger flew over Anchorage, Alaska and failed to see Russia, which Palin infamously said she could see from her house during the 2008 presidential election. He also included a photo of himself looking for country out of his plane's window, below. Although the reference is two years stale, at least we know now that Schwarzenegger is hip to all the best Palinisms.

Over Anchorage, AK. Looking everywhere but can't see Russia from here. Will keep you updated as search continues. http://twitpic.com/2mvxod

I am sorry, I don't usually bogart a blog, but the after effects of 9/11 are still raw and terrible.

See this compilation from a local paper for communities where MOST of the responders were from: http://longisland.newsday.com/templates/splash/5i/?p=September_11th_Anniversary

The physical and emotional after effects are horrendous to the individuals and their families. For "compassionate conservatives" to turn 9/11 into a beer-sloshin', shoppin' and BBQin' event its disgusting.

Visit the New York area (NOT JUST MANHATTAN!) and you will see that many streets have two names -- one for the original the other as a memorial.

But Ms. Palin only visits the country clubs where she picks up donations and rubs thighs with other "compassionate conservatives." Or so the valets tell!

I had compassion for Ms. Palin because I know her type. I grew up with many just like her. To move ahead she did po-grrl finishing school -- beauty contests that take the rough edges off.

But now, I think she should know better. Mark Saturday at Dena'ina: Disgusting Display Ahead.

Palin will be destroyed if she tries a run for the Presidency in 2012. She knows she can't win but she'll take the notoriety and money. It's just another way for the lunatic Wasilla chillbilly to keep her nasty mug in the "lamestream" media. I don't care about her stupid tweets or ghost-written FB rants. She's only important in 1 way: showing Americans how truly stupid, narcissistic, and greedy 1 cheeseball woman can be.

For those who want to know what New Yorkers think about when 9/11 comes around, read this from the NY Daily News, posted by SeaBreeze on the Fallen Brothers Foundation site.

Additionally, there is a photo of this truck Ladder 118 speeding across the Brooklyn Bridge toward the towers smoking in the background. Because of the camera angle, the towers look huge and the truck tiny. The only thing one sees in the photo is the vastness of the tragedy ahead and the mission-oriented selflessness of the six men on that truck. It chokes me every time I see it. RIP. Job well done.

Maybe this is old news, but doesn't Michael Gross mention in his VF article that Randy is connected to the Project for A New American Century (along with Cheney, Rove, Rumsfeld, Rice, et al?) I haven't had a chance to read the Dunn piece as yet.

If so, it just reinforces the Sarah as Puppet to the Masses theory.

Oh please run; PLEASE! Her zRepublican opponents will flood the media with all the dirt they have accumulated on her in the last two years. It will be " no holds barred".

Also, let's just see her try and duck the media and not answer questions as a candidate for President -- good luck witjthst Sarah!

  20. It is common knowledge that Sarah Palin will do anything for money and desperately wants power (without responsibility!).

Sarah's first big money speaking engagement was in China about a year ago to Chinese business men. Now, anyone who has ever known any Chinese business men knows that they are very shrewd. I could never understand what Sarah could possibly have to offer them worth that kind of money (unless it was a "smoker" and she popped out of a cake ;O)! BUT, if they bought her to disrupt America from the inside it would be perfect for them and they would appear to have clean hands and she who speaks for gawwd (since Bush is no longer HIS spokesman) would be guaranteed gobs of big bucks indefinately. Now everyone knows that old prick teasing Sarah is too stupid and shortsighted to see the consequences of such activities and that they would affect her and her family of grifters as well as the rest of America. After all, has not gawwd told her that she (not Bush) is the one to rule after Armageddon and the Rapture take place and Alaska becomes the capitol of THE NEW WORLD?

Think about it, other traitors have sold out America for far less!

For those who say Palin won't run: WHY hire Randy?

Why not keep him around? It's not as if Palin is paying his retainer out of her own pocket. How much of her PAC money will she be able to divert to Bristol in consulting fees?

Remember, her speech in China had no impact and the response regarding it was negative.

Certain press entities try to make her look important, but she tain't!
Plus, she is nothing more than a rebel rouser.

Holy Crap! I just read the Dunn article and THIS IS BIG! Especially with the extreme response by Pat Buchanan, who has always supported Palin, and is very visible on multiple cable political programs as a Republican analyst/spokesperson.

Also with Schumerman (sp?)being linked to BP and the international groups during this time in history is particularly impactful and intense.

Hopefully Palin's connection to this neo-con will make her supporters see her for the extremely dangerous, power hungry, sociopath she is. The Palin-bots are paying her to "pal around with this terrorist", her closest advisor, while this man helps her gain more power with this evil underground.

You can't run for President via Twitter and Palin will never ever subject herself to a non-Fox interview or a real debate with a candidate.

She got away with the crap she pulled on Biden (I'm going to say what I want regardless of the question) but she couldn't do that if she was running for President.

Maybe I'm being too optimistic about the citizens and media of this country but I can't imagine Palin not being held to the fire if she has the gall to run for President. When push comes to shove she can't win Independents no matter how bad things are and I think they'll still to a degree be bad in 2012. They may say they'll vote for her but when it comes to pulling the lever, bet they can't.

But like I said, I'm optimistic but given how quickly this country is going downhill perhaps I shouldn't be.

Oh, she's banging him. Look at him!

Sex, Power and Money is a powerful combination and there's a lot going on in Sarah's life, no doubt, that none of us know about, so to speculate that every move she makes is about being Presidential is outrageous.

She won't get anywhere near the white house, she's been discredited 100 times over and her approval ratings are in the basement. So what that she's got advisers. If she does end up running, it's going to be just on a lark, for the publicity. Anyone can run in those early weeks - Is Al Sharpton president right now? What about David Duke the KKK leader, didn't he run?

I suggest to all concerned citizens, take to the internet and investigate Randy Scheunemann and his relations- ships. Take time to google him and read about his many foreign paid positions and exactly WHO is he really representing? There is alot of info to search through, just don't leave it up to the LSM, because they are busy with a nutcase down in FLA. And god forbid a balloon boy may distract us again or an unwed mom and DWTS, know hoe dangerous this man is. He is a NEOCON to the 10th degree. War is his plan, that is how he makes millions. This is Sarah's new puppet master and he is worth knowing EVERYTHING about.

Look at her face in the accompanying
photo. She's in a trance, the same
look as in the Gusty photo & others.
This woman is not normal, she doesn't
even comprehend what she's 'discussing' on Fox, Facebook or Twitter. Like a robot she
    responds/reacts to certain verbal
    triggers with programmed behaviors
    & phrases. The Scheunemann creature
is her personal controller on the
road when Todd isn't around to do
    the job. Todd-the-suitcase-jockey
is equally complicit in all of it. Scheunemann is extremely dangerous & evil & the average American wouldn't even recognize his name or face.
If she does make a run for the
presidency there should be a relentless effort on blogs & news
    commenting pages asking, 'Who is
    Randy Scheunemann?'
