"So basically what you're trying to do here is write a new federal law just to say 'F*ck you' to Sarah Palin."

You know I have a feeling THAT is a law that the vast majority of Americans would embrace.  Don; you think?

  2. Something you might find hilarious is Colbert's show from Wed. colbert makes The Word about palin, hilarious! Then his guest is that philosopher from France Bernard-Levi something and he talks about palin. People on this site would really enjoy it.

    I'll vote for that.

Gryphen, Gryphen, what is the "little something" that you know and that Alaska WTF is hinting at?

--Is it related to the Palin silence since Dec 18 (except for the blood libel video)?
--Is it related to the big chartered plane to Vegas on Dec 18?
--Is it truly something that could put an end to all this nonsense, which is SO UNHEALTHY for our country?

Oh, please anything you can do to make this SP nightmare end would be a blessing upon us all. Everything else just seems like marking time until it is over.

  8. I hope and pray every day that Palin will be brought down (figuratively) by her own hand. I hope that she does something so heinous or something from her secret closet comes out to permanently put her out of the spotlight forever. And she lives long in infamy, so when her days are done, she will get an obit recounting how she ran for VP and then spent the next two years stirring up hatred until she was unmasked. Sorta like Sen. Joe McCarthy.

6:21, where did you hear about the chartered plane?

Dirk implied that one of the commenters guessed correctly. I hope it wasn't the "quickie Vegas divorce" guess. That might help Sarah with her "victim" image.

Dirk said "all of our dreams will come true soon. Very soon. " So it could not be just a divorce.

For some reason, I am not very optimistic that whatever is going to happen with the latest expose of Granny Palin, is going to be the iceberg.

She's got the "big guns" behind her, and they don't want to lose on their investment.

You might want to catch the opening of SNL. It is a parody of Fox News' attempt at civil discourse. Very funny.

New laws always have to be written once Palin has been around. Check out Alaska...we had to clean up some things after her short half term as governor.

    She is a fri---- disaster!

    Just thought of something.

When Gabby is more healed and addresses the nation for the first time - she is going to have ample opportunities then and afterwards to address what she REALLY thinks of Palin's map and gunsites directed at Tucson, AZ and herself.

Mrs. Palin - you'd better be ready!
You will never live this horrid incident down - it will always be a part of your disastrous life.

I am more than willing to wait. In fact, I think it (whatever it is) would be far more effective and "fatal" (in the political sense, only) if it occurs AFTER she has officially announced her Presidential run.

Let her recover as best she can, get her people inspired and spending money, dedicated and excited, and THEN drop the hammer. Some large percentage of her 20% will simply give up and not vote.

Remember the submarine movie Das Boot? The sailors had an excrutiating, incredibly crappy journey; shot, sunk, rescued, barely limped back into port...where they promptly got bombed and shot by the Allies. It was devastating.

Do it like that. String it out...wait until she's actually running.

I'm wearing my conspiracy theory hat, and I've got a bad feeling Sarah's gonna try to set up a Wag the Dog/Bulworth scam.

If you haven't seen Bulworth, Warren Beatty hires his own [word I can't say lest C4P sick the FBI on me] because he's disgusted with his political career and wants his family to cash in on his life insurance. In Wag the Dog, a war is fabricated to cover up a political scandal.

I know it sounds off the wall, but not much more than a fake pregnancy. If she knows the shit is gonna hit the fan, I wouldn't put it past her to fake an [same word I can't say]ation attempt. The timing would be perfect. Shawn Christy hits the news; Sarah talks "blood libel"; there's been an increased number of threats that the Wasilla police have only heard about from the media. She may disappear for a while, but Bristol's old boss can give her a brand new face.

From what I've been reading, whatever went down in Vegas happened around the time Bristol bought her house (aka the shiny object), the details of which were publicized very quickly.

I don't want to see any harm done to Sarah. I just want to see her stripped of the power to do harm to others.

@Bretta 5:20pm. Being a retired USAF veteran (21 years of service to our country), I take offense at your remark about "...President of All the Disenfranchised Rill'Merkins who are Veterans Receiving Half of All Tax Dollars Taken by the IRS."

She doesn't represent me in any form, and I would be interested to see a citation for "half of all tax dollars taken by the IRS."

    I heart John!
And YES it is fine, albeit rude, to say Fuck You to Sarah Palin as she is just an ordinary uneducated citizen. She holds no job or political office. She is just an annoying puppet thrust upon our stage, even when we tell the theatre owners we don't want to watch her show anymore.
So Fuck you fuck you fuck you Sarah!!!

Ur hate for Sarah plain is no less than what Sarah and rush propagate.

You are all part of the same vitriol. All of you should tone it down and you especially should write less about palin and more about other issues.

Stop giving her so much importance. You have gone after her and her children. That's not what an honorable lefty does.

  24. Brett @ 3:00 AM,

Half of all the tax dollars collected by the IRS go to support the US Military: half of that is for the current activities and half goes to the Veterans' Administration.

Anyone who is retired US Military receiving benefits from the US Government is supported by that 25 percent of the US taxes collected each year.

The majority of the TeaBaggers who are so enamored of $arah Palin are retired military.

Yes, I think she thinks she is the President of the TeaBaggers.

Yes, my remark is intended to provoke.

I worked for the USAF for 12 years, much less than your distinguished 21 years of service but much, much more than any service $arah Palin did for the USA.

She doesn't speak for me, either.
