That is how the Grizzled Mama responds to off the cuff to questions about energy, and let's face it, pretty much anything else.
She may be fooling the low hanging fruit by having ghostwriters piece together articles for the Washington Post or Fox News that she can then put her paw print on and claim as hers, or by twittering links to articles written by those who know how to use things like "verbs" and "nouns," but those of us who live in Alaska know that Sarah Palin is still that simpleton throwing out unrelated words on a stage in an attempt to confuse the questioner.
She has learned NOTHING, except how to hide her incredible stupidity more carefully. And you can still see that stupidity on display when she is forced to make a guest appearance with Bill O'Reilly and he refuses to throw her softball questions like Palin pantie sniffer Sean Hannity or Greta van Damn-it's-hard-to-be-Palin's-friend.
You know in Alaska we have an odd tradition of taking moose nuggets (moose poop for the uninitiated among you), shellacking them, and selling them as novelty items, or even jewelry, to the tourists.
(Thought I was kidding, didn't you?)
However, no matter how you shine them up, they are STILL packed with mooseshit.
And so is Sarah Palin.
It's mind boggling to consider that, soon after the elections, Palin publicly volunteered herself for Energy Secretary.

I keep waiting for the critical Republicans to stop saying she 'can't win' and just spit out the truth that she's 'too stupid to govern'. She's proven that she CAN'T learn...not beyond memorizing some talking points, refrigerator magnets, and billboards. And she can't comprehend what she memorizes.
I do love McCain's smile and nod of approval when she finishes. He must have been so proud of her for using those impressive technical words 'fungible' and 'molecules' and getting in the sexy 'hungry, hungry markets' line.

Sarah has been and always will be a poser. How she thought she could put on a facade convincing enough to fool enough Americans into voting for her for a national office is beyond me. She ended up with greater fame and money as a result, though no amount of that will make her any happier. In fact, that is the sad reality of narcissism: it is unquenchable. Every demon she has ever encountered has simply been created by herself. Sarah has no real enemies except for those she fabricates in her own mind. What a sad existence really. She will be recorded in our history as a compelling case study for social disease and a perfect illustration that things are often far from what they seem.

McCain made all kinds of claims about Palin to get her elected but it didn't work. Energy expert, CEO, conservative, patriotic, great American are just a few of what McCain said about her and had her trying to give foreign policy speeches and meeting foreign leaders in photo-ops and none of it worked.

On last Sunday's "Chris Matthews Show" Gloria Borger said that she wished $P would study up on some domestic issues, other than energy. She knows nothing about energy or any other domestic issue and isn't going to spend one minute studying anything. She's a fraud and a con artist, nothing more.

Everyone should remember that lived in Alaska when Palin was governor that she was very popular. Us Democrats loved her because she avoided the social issues and seemed to bow to the Dems in the legislature. She only became unpopular when McCain picked her as VP. McCain was a ignorant desperate old man that made a big mistake and still won't admit it.

ReplyDeleteThis snippet of WGE's attempt to show off her energy expertise is one of the classics in my carefully archived collection of Sarah's incompetence and hypocrisy. Going through it to respond to some of your posts is both humorous and horrifying when we look back at 2008 and what she's passed off as progressin her credentials since. In my case, her appalling lack of governing skills when it came to a myriad of issues outside her ploys to get the national party's attention.
Even if she doesn't announce her intentions for running for office, we must keep on her. She's still toxic to national discourse, even if she remains an untalented grifter, she does influence some things - even little things too much.
