Dave Parker APD Spokesman |
Officer Parker confirmed that no attempt was made by him, and to his knowledge, by anyone with the Anchorage Police Department, to check the computer records or cell phone records of either Kashawn Thomas or Shailey Tripp. Thus he confirmed that the names of many people could be on the computer or cell phones seized, but he would not know about that. Thus if Todd Palin’s name appeared on the cell phone or lap top of Shailey Tripp, Officer Parker was not in a position to confirm or deny that. He did say that “Rabid” anti-Palin people might try to “conjur” something up. He did confirm that the cell phones and computer would be returned when both cases are closed, and that there would be no reason for any phone numbers or names to have been deleted.
Malia also learns that the person who called the APD asking for the press release from them was none other than Tomas Van Flein. I guess working as Rep. Paul Gosar's Chief of Staff in Arizona gives him plenty of time to harass the Anchorage police on behalf of the Palins. I guess he is still not far enough away that he doesn't have to jump when Sarah tells him to.
There is much more to this story so please head on over to Malia Litman's Blog to find out all of the juicy details.
Malia called the Chief and got a call form Parker? not buying it at all. not Malia, but APD....
ReplyDeleteSarah Palin’s Secret Facebook Page REALLY Likes the Palins
ReplyDeletehttp://www.deathandtaxesmag.com/55207/sarah-palins-secret-facebook-page-really-likes-the-palins/
This is so sad it’s almost time to put away the Palin bashing, even though she’s a vicious, cruel person who’s so incompetent and obsessed with her own myth that she’s ruined just about everything she’s touched. Still, this is sad.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.politicususa.com/en/sarah-palin-trolls-facebook
So the flea bag asked him to do it huh. Why aren't i surprised. My guess is he intentionally didn't look at all the evidence because he knew what he would find.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting that Van Flea said IF you don't find anything please issue a press release. IF is a BIG word in this sense.
Wow... good job, Malia!
ReplyDeleteThe implications are immense. The chief Palin lawyer contacts the APD and gets them to issue a misleading press release which was circulated to kill or discredit a story adverse to Sarah Palin.
ReplyDeleteThe big question now is, will this story have any legs? Will other media sources have the courage to publish it? Because if there was ever a reason for this story to go mainstream, this is it.
How come the lame stream media, FOX or Sarah Palin the journalist with the college degree and the who, what, when, where and why knowledge is not digging this stuff up?
ReplyDeleteWhy do we have to do their work?
I hope Sarah learns by creating so many enemies, she created this hornets nest.
Sarah, the chickens are coming home to roost.
Sounds like Officer Parker didn't do his job very well. Maybe it was suggested to Parker by "friends of Sarah" at APD to gloss over his initial investigation.
ReplyDeleteThat kind of thing happens a lot in Alaska.
I have to assume Shailey knows exactly where Todd Palin's name is in her records. Perhaps if there is a trial names will be named. I am still curious about that anomaly regarding Todd's privates...I seem to remember Michael Jackson having investigators examine his.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to everyone working together to get the facts out....it takes a village.
Gryphen,
ReplyDeleteI hope you post the link to Malia's blog post to your connection at the National Enquirer as there should be a new Press Release correcting the errors and omissions in that the release Parker put out is totally misleading.
What I don't understand -- Since when does the Police in AK issue a press release for a 'citizen' when asked by someone he actually was not firm on in the identification - VanFleece?? Would they issue a release for you or me. Yearightsure!! Don't hold your breath.
I am also baffled that Parker made the decision himself that it's not to be included on the website for press releases. Sounds like he oversteps his 'powers' for what should and should not be submitted. All Pressers should be submitted and posted. It has the similar sounds like that of using a State server for emails or private email accounts.
This is all lies because by not putting their statement on their web site they revealed they were lying.
ReplyDeleteAnd they continue to do so.
At Mailia Litman:
ReplyDeleteOfficer Parker indicated that after the National Enquirer story involving Todd Palin and Shailey Tripp was published, the Anchorage Police Department was contacted by the attorney for Sarah Palin who he believes was Thomas Van Flein.
Which is not quite what you have.
Malia also learns that the person who called the APD asking for the press release from them was none other than Tomas Van Flein.
There is some more confusion generated by the APD concerning this statement. It's not a coincidence. If Parker couldn't say conclusively who made the contact- why might that be?
This might be a red herring.
I knew as soon as I heard Sarah's little 'why didn't they ask Todd' comment that she was hedging .. Does she think we are ALL as stupid as her bots?
ReplyDeleteThe ADN better come clean; they look like RABID PALIN LACKEYS now.
I think Officer Parker's conduct was questionable, and I hope he gets disciplined for it.
ReplyDeleteOn issues connected to the former Governor, he should have checked with the Chief of Police before responding to a request from a civilian (even an attorney such as Van Flein)or with legal counsel for the ADP.
He should not have commented on the press or bloggers as he did. Doing so conveyed a bias that is unacceptable. The police are supposed to be non-political in their professional duties.
Parker should be officially chastised for his comments and conduct.
Wonder if SarahPAC will have to pay Van Flein $10K for this phone call. Maybe only $5K since his efforts didn't stick for long - it only worked until Malia got on the job.
ReplyDeleteCome on, Anchorage Police Department. Get your stories straight. Do you need to pass all of your Palin-related press releases by Van Flea before you post them? You owe your allegiance to who? Are you going to actually do your job and search for Todd's name in the confiscated items or not?
ReplyDeleteThe Palin book issue will be on Hardball this hour on MSNBC
ReplyDeleteI find Officer Parker's statement that "there would be no reason for any phone numbers or names to have been deleted" to be incredibly unbelievable considering the scandals that routinely arise in Alaskan politics.
ReplyDeleteEither Parker is supremely naive or trying to be too cagey by half.
There is every reason for Todd Palin's name and number to be deleted from the computer and phone if it appeared in either. The Palins have a lot to lose.
It is obvious that Parker is a Palin supporter by his comments, and it is likely there are others who are who might have access to the evidence.
The credibility of the APD has been compromised by Officer Parker's comments and conduct.
Another "juicy" non-scandal that will inevitably end with gryph waving his fist in the air like a moonbat declaring that palin's "people" squash the TROOTH once again.
ReplyDeleteDRATSS!!!
DIS IS STAUTIN TU GETS JOOCIES
Lord above us, it was this easy to get the truth? And not one of the "journalists" who wrote articles citing the APD press release bothered to call and verify anything?
ReplyDeleteDoes it not anger the good citizens of Alaska, the way this woman has made them look like fools? The way she uses public servants-- whose salaries they pay--against them?
The emails I've seen released from Bailey's book show a woman who used the apparatus of the state to go after anyone who said anything about her family, to puff up her own image--to do everything except actually govern the state! Where was Bailey's head? (And everyone else working for her) Why were the people of Alaska paying these people's salaries to try to stop rumors that Sarah's 16 yr old was knocked up or to keep Sarah's poll numbers from slipping? Just because she had no concept of the separation between her personal business and state business doesn't mean her staff should have gone along. Beyond belief!
Is anyone else suspicious of the near TWO MILLION followers of sp on facebook? I sure am!
ReplyDeleteToday we learn that her staff spent countless hours (per Politico released e-mails) voting relentlessly on polls to boost her popularity - countless "votes" to paint her in a favorable light.
WHY is it the same 50 to 75 people positing the adoring comments on her FB if there are apprx. TWO MILLION fans?
Could it be that the bots have many, MANY facebook i.d.'s (like Lou sarah) so they can make her look so adored? Keep in mind that lots of them voted up to 100 times each for bristol on DWTS.
This behavior seems to have been standard operating procedure during sp's term as gov. and beyond.
It is important because the bots keep posting her FB fan numbers to PROVE how loved and popular she is.
I call B.S.
With Todd on the IronDog trail, who is she throwing cans at? Will there be a refrigerator left when he gets home?
ReplyDeleteAnon 12:59 - "...he should have checked with the chief of police before responding..."
ReplyDeleteWhat makes you think he didn't?
They are investigating a prostitution business without investigating if there were in fact clients?
ReplyDeleteJohns are just as much, if not more so, criminals as the woman.
More so because without their money there is no prostitution and there is not business.
If they try Tripp they will have no choice but to expose the Dude during discovery or in the trial. That would put him as an criminal in court records.
Bet they eventually drop charges on Tripp.
If they do then we know the Dude was criminally involved.
Are people not trained to do their job? I'm sorry, but as beautiful as Alaska may be, it just seems like such a back-assward place to live where elected officials and hired bureaucrats just make things up as they go.

Not much in love with herself is she?
She major league screwed up in the head.
Maybe we could start a rumor, or an educated guess that she has a split personality.
Is van Flein guilty of impeding an investigation or attempting to suppress evidence of a crime?
ReplyDelete1:24pm, I think you meant to write "Todd", not "Tripp". Tripp's a little young to be getting into this kind of trouble. How old is Tripp? Around 2 years old?
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the person responsible for official APD press releases online was asked, but refused, to publish the statement.
ReplyDeletei also doubt very much that anyone will be disciplined or anything much will happen to change the Palins or APD...though hopefully we will be able to hear less from her now.
So Palins Flea Bag Lawyer moved to Arizona but is still jumping thru hoops for her. Guess he likes those big SarahPac checks she sends him.
ReplyDeleteA private citizen's attorney requests a press release from APD. APD issues the requestd press release to a single media outlet.
ReplyDeleteAPD representative admits to a blogger that the press release contained at least one false statement that APD knew was false when the press release was issued.
That's the way things go down in the land Palin still controls with an iron fist. Faking a pregnancy in that environment should be EASY, yet Palin still managed to screw up even that simple task. The woman is an idiot.
Hardball is hilarious right now
ReplyDeleteDon't all citizens involved in possible illegal activity wish they had as much pull with the APD! Pick up phone and have the PD goats CYA you with an official statement. Do they do this for everyone or just the spouse of a former civil servant (I use that term tongue in cheek!)?
ReplyDeleteI guess Sarah has not read enough history to recognize that it is never the misdeed but, rather, always the coverup that causes the problem!
ReplyDeleteShe should have paid more attention to the history of politics.
1:35 pm comment
ReplyDeleteTripp, as in Shailey Tripp - not Tripp the child.
1:19 PM, I agree with you. Sarah and her bots have multiple ids so they make it look like there's a lot of support for her when there are just a few puppets. Examples - The dishonest DWTS voting, Joe Miller fraudulently using fake ids to rig an election, Sarah's minions submitting fake letters to the editor to ADN. Devious and creepy.
ReplyDeleteI do believe that the APD has gone rogue as in "corrupted by Palin Lovers".
ReplyDeleteCall the Justice Dept, they need to be investigated.
Gryphen,
ReplyDeleteHave you asked Shailey whether Todd's number or name is in her cell and computer?
Anonymous at 1:35.. I think they were referring to Shailey Tripp. Not Tripp Johnston. Come on now
ReplyDeleteAnon @1:34, that Tripp is Shailey Tripp. It's OK, it is very confusing.
ReplyDeleteAnon 1:35
ReplyDeleteThe reference to 'Tripp' was Shailey Tripp - nothing to do with the kid.
If the APD is so willing to act in defense of Todd, it seems that any attempt to prosecute Tripp is already tainted.
ReplyDelete"Another "juicy" non-scandal that will inevitably end with gryph waving his fist in the air like a moonbat declaring that palin's "people" squash the TROOTH once again."
ReplyDeleteThe fact that Sarah has not left the stage does not mean that people are not noticing this stuff. The fact is, this stuff IS "juicy" and continues to chisel away at Sarah's facade. You can deny it all you like. It's not going to stop the snowball from growing, and may even help push it along. But since you think it's nothing, I'm sure that you won't mind as more of it turns up.
Anon 1:32
ReplyDelete"Is van Flein guilty of impeding an investigation or attempting to suppress evidence of a crime?"
-------------
Good question.
VanFlea and Parker have done much to misrepresent the truth in the media. The fact that Parker "believes" it was VanFlea calling. Hello - you best be damm sure who it is before you issue any information in the public forum. Did he get authorization to release this - from what I've read of Parker - I seriously don't think so and truly believe the issue of the Press Release and Parker's dealing with it and his choice to not submit it to be included on the Press Release webpage, should be an issue discussed with his superiors as he has gone off the rails on this.
His reference to things 'not be deleted' sounds like the opening discussion of the cover-up that they have deleted information.
Can you call it a scum cop - I would and would take it over his head in a nano second to have him suspended and demoted as there is no trust there.
When people are brought up to question nothing, they are surprised when they come across people who do ask questions. In dealing with Palins, it seems, everything is suspect.
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling. Mr. Mew, the police chief, turned to Parker after getting the message from Malia and said, "Dumbass, you created this mess by going rogue so you can clean it up or bury yourself trying."
ReplyDeleteanon at 135, I think the commenter 124pm meant Shailey Tripp.
ReplyDelete@ James McKeane
ReplyDeleteGive it a rest, why don't you. No one here is interested in your delusions.
Go back to where you can get some traction on your comments, i.e. the Sea of Urine.
Shoo!
Todd and Sarah are horrid people! It is appearing more and more that they should be investigated for various things.
ReplyDeleteAndrew Halcro reported more stuff today. And, national news is covering things she did while in office here in Alaska. The words coming from the manuscript do not appear to stopped even though a legal firm has tried to stop them with letters to various folk. ried folk!
The fact the police department (Anchorage) played into their antics absolutely takes the cake. Parker should be fired for spreading untruths in his statement. It sure seems that anyone who gets involved w/this Palin group goes down and absolutely ruins their reputation -i.e. Meg Staplemouth here in Anchorage and many others.
I'll wager John McCain has gotten a copy of this manuscript - thank God they weren't elected. He probably taught her some hinky stuff while they were on that national campaign.
Sarah is going down - slowly but surely!
1:45 PM, she should have paid more attention to ANY history.
ReplyDeleteSure is quiet on the Palin front...I'll wager they are trying to figure out ways to combat what is coming out about her.
ReplyDeleteHow could she sue the authors? Couldn't - Bailey has the emails.
I can't help but wonder what involvement Parnell had in some of this stuff. The manuscript is proving she did illegal stuff...Parnell had to know it! I so detest Republicans....plus, sister Sarah has made a laughing stock out of Alaskans and Alaska.
parker deliberately lied to cover for his psycho quitter gov.
ReplyDeleteWhy did they take the cellphones and computer if not to investigate what was on them?
This gives more creds to Ms. Tripp.
folks, Malia did great, but she did not get the truth. She got told a tale by the same Police spokescreep that spun the first lie. Keep digging folks. Keep digging. Malia has exposed more lies, deception, and general corruption that I had hoped!
ReplyDeleteGo Malia!
and please follow up with the State Attorney, or the Feds.
Personally, if I were David Kernell's attorney, I would be very interested in looking at all of these e-mails and public servant abuses by the entire Palin apparatus. Kernell's e-z college-kid's exposure of the whole circus could have revealed all of this off-the-state-record nonsense very early on. These revelations sure point to why the vendetta against this young man was so important to them all. And why they made such dramatic noises in the courtroom. Case should be re-examined and thrown out for prejudice.
ReplyDeleteWell it seems parker used religion, as most repubs, when they are caught in lies. What part is lying in his calvinistic beliefs does this fall under? Hypocrite.
ReplyDeleteSarah Palin's Alaska--looking more and more like the Daley's Chicago....or would that be Al Capone's?
ReplyDeleteHere's another little tidbit Gryph, Kristen Cole has also moved down to Arizona. The more that move the merrier I say.
ReplyDelete
