I hate Bill O'Reilly. I just have to get that off my chest before I continue here.
But having said that, he was at least honest that when he was interviewing President Obama, Obama was NOT trying to avoid answering. In fact it was that Obama was trying to FULLY answer the questions, and O'Reilly kept cutting him off, that pissed so many viewers off that day.
Sarah Palin, on the other hand, is just an idiot.

ReplyDeleteWhatever fallout O'Reilly gets from the Palinbots because of his last interview with Palin, he deserves because he knew Palin was a Murdoch/Ailes/Kristol Puppet, and he still kept his job at Fox and helped to mislead millions of Americans about her. This tells me that he is as corrupt as Palin and the rest of the Fox entertainment crew. Let the chips fall where they may for this disrespectful, money-loving bazturd.

ReplyDeleteI have a piece of advice for Bristol. Save some of that money from the book advance. If you don't want to be forced to return the advance you had better start writing. They're done with you and your mom, and if you don't have something on paper by the time it's due you have to give that money back. You'll need it to raise that child of yours for the next 16 years.
Hopefully you'll be a decent enough parent to send him to college instead of pimping him out for the highest dollar like your mom did you.
I gotta go get more popcorn. This is going to be fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure $arah will go on Hannity and complain about Bill. Hannity will be in a bind and probably will soft peddle the whole thing because Bill brings in the MOST revenue on Faux.
And number of viewers and amount of revenue brought in is what counts.
I think Ailes, now that he realizes what a problem he's gotten into with $arah, and especially her dwindling popularity, will also be in a bind as how to get rid of her. His "out" may be if she moves to AZ and he won't build a studio there for her and she "resigns".

You know she'll also have something to say but just the fact that he said it speaks volumes about how FOX is feeling towards Palin at this time. They are almost done with her or he wouldn't be talking like that about her, especially in what is a negative manner for FOX towards a conservative like Palin.

ReplyDeleteBill O'Reilly interrupts people, belittles people, bullies them and when all else fails, he screams, "Cut their mike." He has been doing this for years. He is rude and arrogant. The worst example was when he interviewed the son of a fireman who died in the Twin Towers on 9/11. He insulted the kid, screaming "Shut up! Shut up!" before cutting the microphone. Rude doesn't begin to describe him.
ReplyDeleteHis interview with Obama was so bad that it was the subject of a Saturday Night Live sketch. As for Sarah, I think that Bill is tired of having to prop her up and make her look a person offering a thoughtful comment. The only thing that is surprising is that Sarah told him to stop interrupting her. She is famous for cutting Bill off while he is speaking. Each person thinks that they are the more important person in the interview, a war of the egos.
You could see the annoyance on Sarah when he interrupted her, just imagine if he interrupted her like he did President Obama (40 times or more)she would have had a huge hissy fit and that would have been great to watch.

ReplyDeleteI think if the Fox execs had felt they could make a buck with Sarah, she would have been offered her own regular show right away. The fact is, she's too freaking stupid. She's awkward in interviews, and projects no warmth toward or interest in anyone, including her own family members. English appears to be her second language. She is easily flustered and loses her cool all the time. When she gets worked up about something, her syntax gets shot all to hell and she sounds like a nagging, bitchy fishwife. (Oh, wait--she is one.) Staying at one college was impossible for her, probably because she was hopelessly lost in most of her classes.
When Beck asked her about the Founding Fathers, you can see the total panic on her face because she doesn't have a fucking clue who the hell any of them were. What a patriot.
Fox News and the GOP both know she's an empty head, and they have decided to back off and let her sink her own ship. They've realized that letting her run her mouth while attached to their standard is only going to make them look stupid too (also).
So for once, I can say I agree with Fox News!
The most telling thing about this video is at around the 2:35 mark, where O'Reilly says that Sarah was told in advance what she was going to be asked:

Palin, on the other hand, is a brainless oaf who couldn't tell the difference between North and South Korea. (Here's a hint, Sarah: on the map, one is in the NORTH and the other is in the SOUTH.) Why would they get rid of two GOP party stalwart insiders in favor of a moronic simpleton like Palin, especially when their own people think she is a fucking moron?
The only thing that makes sense to me is that they are hedging their bets. By allowing O'Reilly, Beck and others to trash her, they are testing the waters to see if their sheeple flock agree with O'Reilly or they remain devoted to Palin. If they detect that the FauxNews flock agrees with Billow, she is out on her lying grifting ass.
I suspect that the jury is still out on Palin. Either that, or no matter what, until Palin ceases to make little Rupert and Roger stand at attention, she is safely in the FauxNews rotation.

I had to laugh watching Billo skewer SP. Saw this when it was aired and found it interesting how Billo justifies his irritation at SP because she refused to answer his questions but how his explanation of the need to interrupt didnt jive with his iview with the president. I can understand the need for the interviewer to assertively direct an iview and even cut off a subject when you have a 5 minute window. But that wasn't the case with the president...that was a taped iview which could have been edited so that it fit within the time constraint and without the numerous and irritating interruptions from Billo. His pompous ass persona is what fuels his viewership ratings.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I come away with in this segment is that Fox would sacrifice SP in a heartbeat. What network would let one of their employees publicly trash another unless they have no real regard for that employee. SP's lost her appeal, people could care less about her opinion and she is therefore irrelevant to Fox. If she can't increase viewership she's a liability. Billo trashing her at least keeps some interest. She's expendable but not until she's fulfilled her contract and they can squeeze whatever they can from the corpse.
