Quinnipiac poll uses "Feelings thermometer" to determine warmth felt toward political figures. Guess who is right at the bottom.

Here is my question, how in the hell does Chris Christie rank higher than President Obama?  I mean seriously?

But don't you love that Snowdrift Snooki only rates higher than Pelosi and Reid, who the Teabaggers spent so much time and money trying to vilify?  Gee I wonder how THAT makes her feel?

Yeah, that's kind of what I thought.
You can see the actual Quinnipia University poll by clicking here.

  2. I won't pay any attention to Christie beating President Obama by 0.5%. Just scan further to see that 55% of people say they don't know enough about him as opposed to 0% for President Obama. - Mia Malkan

The funniest (and most damning) part about this poll is that only 4% said that they didn't know enough about her to say how they felt about her! Compare that to Harry Reid's 37% and Nancy Pelosi's 15%.

See, Sarah, America knows all they need to know about you and we just don't care for you.

Nancy Pelosi at he very bottom? THat is one scary grandma! Actually, I find her warmer then the Snowgrifter.

    Give it time.

BTW, Sarah's on the cover of the Enquirer again. It's a who's getting divorced feature. The little blurb onSarah mentions nude photos and has a pic of Todd by the text.

Even the people who USED to support her are embarrassed by her now.

I know the caution about "not underestimating" her, but she has spent the last two years promoting herself by books and television, and frankly, most people are not impressed.

Spurned by the GOP, she has only her elderly T-baggers, and I'll bet they think she is a nice girl, but unqualified.

I look forward to her numbers dropping even lower, as the books about her (Dunn, McGinnis, Bailey) are published later this year.

I'm so disappointed to see that butthole Mitch McConnell was even on the stinking LIST...for the oldsters who visit this forum, they'll remember the Howdy Doody character "Mister Bluster" (who caused nothing but grief for Howdy, Dilly Dally, and everyone else) and realize how much this political hack and hypocrite resembles that puppet.

There's a rumour that the kids from the Peanut Gallery charged that puppet after one performance, and kicked the stuffing out of it--being why it was no longer featured in the show, after that.

Watch out, Mitchie Baby...those kids are now MY age--powerful enough in our 60's to bring you down, if you continue screwing the middle class like you've been doing, and laughing about it.

    Hey, Rebecca Mansour!

This is what the Business Insider has to say about you: "weak organization, second-tier staff". Also, too, your boss has a "reputation as a lightweight and she's not smart enough." I guess that means you aren't smart enough.

RAM, are you gonna take that? Get on Sarah's Facebook account right this minute and tell John Ellis that "Sarah" doesn't think about him all that much and neither do you!

I know that Gryphen picked a photo of Palin at random, but we really have to convince Sarah to wear that leather jacket on her trip to India. The Indians love their sacred cows, and some very religious people refuse to wear leather. So, Sarah is sure to attract plenty of attention if she wears her biker jacket. I'd like to suggest the shortest, tightest skirt as well, and those leopard print shoes. It doesn't matter that most Indian women wear a sari or a pants/blouse outfit, either of which covers the legs, down to the ankles. Sarah, please, give those Indian guys some leg to look at! You'll be in every headline.

Gryphen, if you haven't watched Rachel tonight, get it on iTunes or go to her show's site tomorrow.

Michigan is going for bigger power grab than Wisconsin by trying to get a bill through that would allow the Governor or a firm he appoints to declare emergencies in any Michigan city or town and then change or terminate collective bargaining rights.

Think about how corrupt that could be - the Governor hires a private firm to analyze and decide whether public employees in a city or town lose their collective bargaining rights - without public comment BTW. Dodah, done deal. Can't you just see those firms lining up to contribute to the Governor's campaign war chest so it can
be hired and reap big rewards by union busting?

http://www.legislature.mi.gov/documents/2011-2012/billintroduced/Senate/pdf/2011-SIB-0158.pdf (the MI Senate bill url - pdf)

http://maddowblog.msnbc.msn.com/ - this has a short summary and an excerpt of the Senate Bill. Rachel discussed even more explosive aspects of this power grab by Michigan's new GOP Governor, Rick Snyder.

This is even more aggressive than what WI's Scott Walker proposed.

If I understand Rachel correctly (double-check me on this) Synder also wants to do some outrageous things regarding a city or town's right to even exist. I was so outraged by the union busting bill that I only caught parts of this topic.

Obama doesn't come off a warm.
Nice yes. Courteous, affectionate to his wife and children. All yes. But warm, not so much as dignified.

Christie rates warm because he reminds you of what it was like sitting next to a person with serious overlapsit syndrome on the airplane.

Palin is a retarded dipshit. If she was smart she would of declared months ago that she was not running for office. Now she is waiting till April to mention it.

Quinnipac polls tend to be all over the map. I am highly suspicious of Reid and Pelosi finishing well below Palin. Teabaggers harbor an irrational seething hatred of Reid and Pelosi but normal people do not. There are other weird numbers in there that also seem to warrant examination of the poll as a whole. Like Giuliani, HucKKKleberry, Boner, and Romney all finishing that close to President Obama? I find that absolutely ridiculous.

However, there's no way for Palin to spin this as anything other than really bad news.

Same for Sarah, Democrats, Republicans, and Independents will not take stupid over establishment. No matter how much money backs her, the voting populace will not bite. The 'bots are on high alert delusion mode after the announcement that Palin is skipping the first Repug debate.

They've got that deja vu all over again feeling. That's the second time this has happened. She had the same date with the SKP foundation- which was canceled due to "security concerns". So now on the same date she is booked again in Colorado.

I found an interesting explanation for the problem(problem for Palin supporters anyway): Why so many conservatives think Sarah Palin is stupid. Fewer misspelling and punctuation mistakes than usual.
Plenty of Palin worship and media analysis.

    http://www.libertynewsonline.com/article_301_30260.php

The Left launched their “Sarah Palin is Stupid” campaign the next day after her incredible VP nomination acceptance speech.

Unfortunately for Alaskans Palin had launched her own stupidity campaign years before.

The assault on Palin's intellect intensified daily. Every word out of Palin's mouth was dissected and placed under a microscope. Then, viewed through a lens tainted with the paradigm that “Palin is stupid”. Who amongst us could withstand our every utterance judged with such extreme scrutiny?

LOL. Like you need a microscope for the diagnosis. Sometimes the words she writes on her hands analyzed also too. We're not running for president, so we don't need the scrutiny.

Conservatives saying under their breath at cocktail parties that Palin isn't too bright is evidence the liberal media's branding of her has worked on some level.

Frustratingly, the facts completely prove otherwise. Palin was extremely successful as Governor of Alaska.

    LOL again.

    There is some of everything.
    Including racism and religion too.

Still only March and things are not looking up for Sarah.

If Sarah ran for president, her loss would go down as the BIGGEST landslide EVER. She quit being governor. She was waaaay in over her head and hated the job. She ran because she liked the idea of being governor and the status that went with it. Obviously, if she couldn't handle Level 1, she can't advance to Level 2. People will not forget she LET THE PEOPLE OF ALASKA DOWN. Put in sports terms for Sarah ... winners NEVER quit and QUITTERS NEVER WIN! Remember that?! Let's just hope that the Babygate story comes all together in the final chapter so there are no loose ends. Then she will be put out to pasture, only to be left talking to church groups.

This list is mostly republicans. Looks like the voters didn't like Nancy Polosi so much, even though Nancy has done a great job and helped our country go forward. She is one of the best speakers we have ever had! Funny how the women the gop put out there are crazy people. Palin, Bachman, and others are a poor representation of American women. Is this part of the war on women? I think so. Corporations don't want women to have equal pay, it would cost them. The well organized attack on the middle class is alive and rearing its' ugly head. Thanks Gryphen for all your hard work and for paying attention!
