Yet, I do understand the need for vigilance. So carry on. Examine her rigorously and rationally.
Just keep the excitement level down. She loves to see everyone all excited over her, whether it is negative or positive. She'll have lost when everyone is too bored to look. May that day get here soon and sooner.

Saw a bit of Hardball. Chris Matthews admitted he wanted her to run. Talked about how good and energetic she looked. Said she held her own in debate with Biden, and viewers thought she won it.

They are going to ignore Babygate because they need Palin as an attraction, and exposing the depth of her dishonesty and risking losing her base (they said "She brings people with her," which could also mean viewers)--well, it isn't going to happen until there's no one watching anymore and they need a last gasp attention getter.
Even the guy who admits she's a moron WANTS her to run for Pres. I'd say that makes him a moron, too.

He's also wrong about the debate. She did not hold her own. People forget that the McCain campaign arranged it so there would be less time to answer questions during the debate, so that Palin could stick to her canned "answers." The Obama campaign made a mistake agreeing to that format. Besides, Palin had to overcome a very low bar.
Also, most people did not think Palin won the debate. All of the snap polls/focus groups thought Joe Biden won the debate. Not to mention, SNL made fun of her debate performance. Chris Matthews just thinks' she's hot, and he is a bald-faced liar.
Remember the movie "RV" with Robin Williams?He rented a big RV for the family to travel in and the family named it "The Big Rolling Turd" .

Interesting tidbit in Bailey's book. He quotes an e- mail from Sarah Palin where she says "No more security. It's a flippin waste of money!" The e-mail was March 4, 2008. So she didn't want security personnel keeping an eye on her, starting the day before she announced her 'pregnancy'.

I had to go on a road trip today and happened across a con talk radio show. the host (can't remember his name) was saying that he a fan of the quitter but she was absolutely not qualified to be president. said she didn't have it in her, that she was all about using catch phrases repeatedly and that a serious candidate should be beyond that. he said a few times - "go ahead and send me your hate mail, I know it's coming." one of his callers, a woman with a very heavy southern drawl, said she was too polarizing and was going to overshadow the legitimate candidates if she ran. couldn't believe my ears! anyway that was good to hear in the southern backwoods.
