Have you ever wanted to reach through your computer screen and just throttle somebody? Well if you haven't you're about to now!
You know I wish I had been able to talk to Frank Bailey before he did this interview, because I would have told him to deal with Hannity in this way:
"Hey Shawn, I get it! In the beginning I was the guy assigned to viciously attack the messenger when Sarah Palin did not like the message. I completely understand where you are coming from, you have been given your directions and like a good dog you are jumping through the hoops provided for you. You now have MY old job. But hey Shawn, it does not have to be this way! Look at me! I am free of those bonds, and I can now tell the truth. Maybe someday you too will break your shackles and stand up to your corporate masters and Sarah Palin. After all everybody has to grow up someday, don't you think?"
I wonder how far he would actually get into that response before they cut his microphone and the screen went black?
(Okay I am tired of hearing Hannity's voice. I am NOT putting up anymore of his video, even if he sets himself on fire!)
(I lied. If he sets himself on fire I will absolutely post that! I mean who would not want to see that?)

ReplyDeleteI can't bring myself to watch any more of Sean Hannity than I already watched in the Palin Horror Picture Show video you posted.
ReplyDeleteBut, the mere fact that Hannity gave Bailey's book any air time at ALL must be setting Sarah's ASS on fire. The last thing she wants is publicity for Frank's book!
I like your response, but I suspect Frank Bailey is still too aligned with Fox Network in terms of his politics and overall beliefs to say that.
ReplyDeleteI wrote the following in another post below in response to questions about why Frank Bailey would say that Palin is well-read and intelligent. He may be disillusioned with Sarah Palin, disappointed even, but I don't think he's "over" her yet. Here's my original post---
I think the book could have been entitled "Blind Worship." And, after watching a few interviews, I think he is still struggling to come to terms with just how unqualified Palin is/was for any position of importance. Thus, he desperately wants to believe that she could have done better in the Couric interview. And he desperately wants to believe that he did not invest all those years propping up someone who was baically incompetent. Thus, he must find some redeeming qualities/abilities, real or imagined. He has probably convinced himself that she did start out as a viable, qualified candidate who was somehow changed and corrupted over time. Perhaps that's how he lives with the fact that he personally did so much to put her where she is today.
from CNN Peter Hanby
ReplyDeleteShe is, her backers say, the only potential Republican candidate with the kind of star power required to skip early nominating hurdles like the network debates or the closely watched Ames Straw Poll and still be competitive.
--------
hahaha
Dream on Sarah Palin. Your star power is a tiny glimmer about to flicker out in Iowa. You haven't enough fire in your belly to make it through a single pancake breakfast in NH. People asking you real questions and expecting answers.
G, Palin is kicking off a tour with Rolling Thunder in DC this weekend. Yet another week of Palin unquestioned and unconcerned. Time to put the real questions to her.

ReplyDeleteWhen will people like Bailey learn that to go on Fox news is to commit hari-kari? It's never going to be any different even though he's gawwwd fearing stupid conservative just like Hannity. He's a con who has found his honesty through his gawwwd delusion. Sick, sick, sick, sky fairy believers, but sometimes when they're really honest with themselves like this moron is they will slip up and serve a decent purpose.
ReplyDeleteBut dont worry, he'll soon repent to his personal sky fairy and say he's rillll sorry!
I saw it live and I felt the same way. Someone needs to give Sean what he deserves (a punch in the nose comes to mind...)
ReplyDeleteSean Hannity is a pussy.
ReplyDeleteOne wonders what the Repubs are thinking. Here we have Fox trying to take down Bailey when in fact his words about saree are far kinder than the blasting she took from the old guard repubs in Nov/Dec of last year. What gives? More money to Fox before they cut her loose or a true coup being done by Ailes to get cariboo barbie to the top place on the ticket. Does he really think the American electorate is so stupid they would vote her in? It makes no sense unless it's all about capitalizing on the money why she can still draw crowds.
ReplyDeleteAnd yet, Fox taking Bailey down a notch is going to spur some book sales. And trying to discredit him is giving Bailey far more notoriety than Dunn. Hmmm, methinks there is another agenda we can't see yet
ReplyDeleteSean is definitely rude and obnoxious! What would ANY viewer gain from watching that? The fact that S.H. is an A.O. si the only thing projected.
ReplyDeleteI am sure he didn't read the book that is why he could not let Frank say anything because he would not have been able to respond with an intelligent answer.
He is just like his Queen............ ignorant and trying to play the game!

ReplyDeleteThey are having a hard time finding a sane-sounding proponent of their insane policies.
I didn't look at the video yet but based on Frank's book he still has his head deep up into the Grisly $arah's Rima Pudenda.
ReplyDeleteHe's still so in love with her - even if he dished.
Frank is still kindred with Hannity in the lust for Mrs Palin department. I think there's a commandment about that.
Palin announces nationwide bus tour.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.adn.com/2011/05/26/1884197/palin-plans-us-bus-tour-amid-2012.html
I think Sean Hannity looked like a bully. Frank did great in keeping his cool.
ReplyDeleteOT - Sarah has just announced a bus tour over Memorial Day. What is Roger waiting for? She's clearly running and he made others quit. Isn't it becoming apparent Ailes has hitched his wagon to her star and is intent on making her the candidate? Need some astute thinking about this one
ReplyDeleteBetter man than me, I can't watch one clip. And he would never set himself on fire, not even for money - remember the waterboarding for charity that he went mum on? Dickhead.
ReplyDeleteT
Nothing better than a little 'fair and balanced' for a good laugh!
ReplyDeleteGood of that chimp Hannity not to mention that "The Governor" is a part-time contributing special-guest field correspondent at Fox so that she can make a few extra shekels herself.
Yes, she loves herself some free-enterprise unregulated capitalism as much as Hannity!
Gryphen: Check this one out - $arah's shenanigans are becoming more mainstream-news:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.businessinsider.com/sarah-palin-new-house-arizone
I can't watch Hannity. There is only so much dishonesty that one person can handle, and seriously, my cup is already overflowing with all of Palin's lies and distortions.
ReplyDeleteBailey is proving to be not so quick on the draw. Guess that's how he landed on Sarah's doorstep in the first place.
WHOA, anon@ 10:43!
ReplyDeleteSet himself on fire? Nah! I'm still waiting for him to subject himself to waterboarding.
ReplyDeleteOT - Andrew Sullivan has link up just now about potential problems with the AZ home purchase; from the comments on the link is this gem:
ReplyDelete"This does not look to me like a case of fraud. There's another, obvious explanation for the hugely profitable flip in a dead market: the buyer was stupid as a stump.
"This is the perfect buyer that real estate investors dream about. Some trailer trash reality TV star or the like who suddenly has a pot of money and doesn't have a clue what anything is worth. She actually wants to pay as much as possible, because for her it's all about the big figure bragging rights, the property is secondary at best."
I'll stuff a sock in Hannity's mouth and leave the throttling to you. Talk about classic 'attack the messenger, ignore the message'!
ReplyDeleteI cringed when I read in Bailey's book that he set out to be "Fair and Balanced" just like Fox News. I wonder if his opinion of Fox has changed yet.
Saw it and agree with you. The amazing stretch of cognitive boundaries they make when it comes to her. Yet still insisting that President Obama is not qualified for an executive positiion. How despicable they are.
ReplyDeleteAfter watching Bailey in several interviews it's easy to see how someone like Palin could take advantage of him for so long. Hannity had no problem walking all over the poor guy and that's very rare. Hannity is usually the wimp. And I mean no disrespect to Frank Bailey at all, I'm actually glad he had the courage to tell his story and take responsibility for himself. Palin refuses to take ownership or acknowledge her wrong doings! She's a pathetic human being!
ReplyDeleteGeoffrey Dunn must be terribly disappointed in his publisher. Between watching Bailey on every other cable channel and knowing that Crown will no doubt put heavy artillery behind McGinniss's tome, surely Jeff resents St. Martin's failure to orchestrate a modicum of publicity for The Lies of Sarah Palin.
ReplyDeleteO/T but... "Sarah Palin is launching a bus tour of historical sites this weekend in the nation's capital, amid growing signs that the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee could run for the White House next year.". Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!! She's the frickin' Ralph Kramden of American politics who couldnt be elected Grand High Exalted Mystic Ruler of the local Raccoon Lodge!!!
ReplyDeleteFrank did great. He's owning up to mistakes he's made in the past. We'll never, NEVER ever see $arah do that.
ReplyDeleteSully linked to your previous post.

G,
ReplyDeleteIf you didn't have a hint of this bus tour thingy, then it means that Palin has gotten a better team that keep their mouths shut. That's not a hopeful sign.
And, of course, it may be the quasi-official start of her 2012 presidential campaign.
ReplyDeleteI’m sure she’s anticipating huge cheering throngs at every stop. Do you think she’ll get them?
Any thoughts as to which of Sarah’s band of Merry Pranksters will be on board? Meg Stapleton? Rebecca Mansour? Franklin Graham? Greta Van Susteren? Mary Glazier? Andrew Breitbart? William Kristol? Shailey Tripp?
Whoever Sarah chooses for the cast, I’m sure they’ll have a rollicking good time on the road.

I read the transcript of the Hannity interview--"Oops, we ran out of time!"
I've gotten to the Troopergate section in the book and think he still has a crush on Grandma Grifter, also, too.
Martin Bashir talks about Bailey's book again today.

$1,000 wine bottles with fake SP signatures! Oh, my!!
I am so sick of hearing Palin referred to as The Governor. Gaah! She is not the governor, and barely even was when she was one. And Hannity repeated it 3 freaking times in one sentence. Blargh! He's a jerk and came across as one.
ReplyDeleteI said it before I'll say it again, Frank Bailey ate Sean Hannitys lunch, Sean baited and baited but Frank didn't bite, Sean came across looking like a whiner, Which of course he is !
ReplyDeleteWould someone tell Mrs. Palin that if she's headed north to New England we're on vacation.
ReplyDeleteThe only way I will click on that link is if you tell me that Hannity set himself on fire! Can't stand him - can't bear to listen!
ReplyDeleteI hate, hate, hate Sean Hannity. Did I mention I hate Sean Hannity? He has no honor. Was it KO who challenged him to waterboard himself to benefit wounded soldiers? Yeah, he never did that. He's a pussy to the nth degree. He blocked me on Twitter, and I'm just a SAHM. What a frickin' pussy is all I've got to say about him!
ReplyDeleteHowever, I will say I liked when Frank wanted to know why Sean's network was so intent on denying the truth. Look how quickly Sean changed the subject. He's a fraud and certainly not an American patriot. He and Sarah are one in the same. All those charities he claims to work with to benefit the troops, I guarantee he takes exorbitant speaking fees just like the Grifter Queen of Mean. I hate everybody at Fox news!
Chris Matthews thinks she's running and had high praise for her exciting style. Oy Veh! Of course, he did say he wants her to get the nomination as he sees it as an Obama win.
ReplyDeleteI get the impression that Frank Bailey isn't very worldly or well-educated so he may see the BigBoss as intelligent and well-read. It might explain why he was able to be used and abused so easily by the paylin glitterati despite their very un-Christian methods.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Gryphen mentioned the Rolling Stone article about Roger Ailes. It's a must read for everyone who wonders how $P was able to get as far into the political arena as he has. I think he is the only real antidote to her continuing 'success' and I pray that she keeps biting at his heels provoking him to pull out his bottle of anti-Paylin spray.
hannitard proves himself to be the dooshbag that he is yet again.
ReplyDeleteI just can't imagine him being a heavy hitting guy
ReplyDeleteI think she is drumming up mOney for sarahpac. Is she planning on running and never answering any questions?
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Hannity already has a copy of The Schlocky Famewhore Picture Show?
ReplyDeleteNo, of course Hannity hadn't talked to the Governor about Bailey's book. That doesn't mean he didn't read whatever her minions sent him.
ReplyDeleteboth of them make me want to puke. Bailey keeps talking about how he got to help choose judges to shape the judicial branch of our government and we all know what their criteria was. The more I find out about THOSE PEOPLE, the more I understand what I have gone through in this state. At this rate I may need to start taking an antiemetic to watch any more videos of Bailey.
ReplyDeleteTheir new talking point seems to be "weaponizing her children". Hannity used it and now there is an article at Breitbart's blog that Joe McGinniss is going to be doing it in his new book. They just can't get it through their heads that she uses her children as shields to protect her from her lies.
ReplyDeleteJesse, you need to read all the posts here on your blog and stop pretending that you do. If you don't then the truth about your queer lezzie dotter is going to get through. Check out the latest at 2:02.
ReplyDeleteAnd Sarah says she wants you to have a rill nice day. You betcha!
Hannity was screaming like a girl , the book is obviously hitting a nerve.
ReplyDeleteBailey maintained his decorum and showed great class and maturity compared
to Hannity's childish and bullying tantrum.
Hannity never once talked about
the contents of the book-just a series of ad hominem attacks on Bailey.
Hannity was obsessed with the cover
being " photocropped , "
a term he used twice.
The way Hannity was overreacting , you would have thought Bailey put a picture of Todd getting a massage on the cover.
Or Trig's birth certificate.
Kudos to Bailey for not taking Hannity's bait and behaving like a gentleman.
Half way through Frank Bailey's book. Having worked on campaigns, this book rings true. Frank strikes me as being honest, but very naive.
ReplyDeleteBTW, the way Sarah treats her children, it's probably a good thing she's not raising Trig.
OT: Separated at birth?
