The Voice of God, the Artifice of Sarah Palin. Update!

Many bloggers, and news organizations, have written about a certain letter found in the Sarah Palin e-mails which she composed eleven days before the "birth" of her son, and then sent out immediately after Trig's birth to friends and family.  Most have characterized the letter as demonstrating Palin's true love and commitment to her as yet unborn son, Trig Paxson Van Palin.

But for me it told an entirely different story.

Here is the letter.

From: Sarah Palin
Date: Mon, 7 Apr zoos 14:17:11
To gov . sarah@yahoo . com
Cc gov . palinoyahoo . com

Subject Baby

To the Sisters, Brother. Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends of Trig Paxson Van Palin (or whatever you end up naming him!):

I am blessing you with this surprise baby because I only want the best for you. I've heard your prayers that this baby will be happy and healthy, and I've answered them because I only want the best for you!

I heard your heart when you hinted that another boy would fit best in the Palin family, to round it out and complete that starting five line-up. Though another girl would be so nice, you didn't think you could ask for what you REALLY wanted, but I knew, so I gave you a boy because I only want the best for you!

Then, I put the idea in your hearts that his name should be "Trig", because it's so fitting, with two Norse meanings: *True' and "Brave Victory'. You also have a Bristol Bay relative with that name, so I knew it would be best for you!

Then, I let Trig's mom have an exceptionally comfortable pregnancy so she could enjoy every minute of it, and I even seemed to rush it along so she could wait until near the end to surprise you with the news - that way Piper wouldn't have so long to wait and count down so many days - just like Christmastime when you have to wait, impatiently, for that special day to finally open your gift? (Or the way the Palins look forward to birthday celebrations that go on for three, four day.. you all really like cake.) I know you, I knew you'd be better off with just a short time to wait!

Then, finally, I let Trig's mom and dad find out before he was born that this little boy will truly be a GIFT. They were told in early tests that Trig may provide more challenges, and more joy, than what they ever may have imagined or ever asked for. At first the news seemed unreal and sad and confusing. But I gave Trig's mom and dad lots of time to think about it because they needed lots of time to understand that everything will be OK, in fact, everything will be great, because I only want the best for you!

I've given Trig's mom and dad peace and joy as they wait to meet their new son. I gave them a happy anticipation because they asked me for that. I'll give all of you the same happy anticipation and strength to deal with Trig's challenges, but I won't impose on you.. I just need to know you want to receive my offer to be with all of you and help you everyday to make Trig's life a great one.

This new person in your life can help everyone put things in perspective and bind us together and get everyone focused on what really matters. The baby will expand your world and let you see and feel things you haven't experienced yet. He'll show you what 'true, brave victory" really means as those who love him will think less about self and focus less on what the world tells you is 'normal' or "perfect'. You will grow and be blessed with greater understanding that will be born along with Trig.

Trig will be his dad's little buddy and he'll wear Carhartts while he learns to tinker in the garage. He'll love to be read to, he'll want to play goalie, and he'll steal his mom's heart just like Track, Bristol, Willow and Piper did, And Trig will be the cuddly, innocent, mischievous, dependent little brother that his siblings have been waiting for..in fact Trig will - in some diagnostic ways - always be a mischievous, dependent little brother, because I created him a bit different than a lot of babies born into this world today .

Every child is created special, with awesome purpose and amazing potential. Children are the most precious and promising ingredient in this mixed up world you live in down there on earth. Trig is no different, except he has one extra chromosome. Doctors call it "Down's and Downs kids have challenges, but can bring you much delight and more love than you can ever imaginel Just wait and see, let me prove this, because I only want the best for you!

Some of the rest of the world may not want him, but take comfort in that because the world will not compete for him. Take care of him and he will always be yours! Trig's mom and dad don't want people to focus on the baby's extra chromosome. They're human, so they haven't known how to explain this to people who are so caring and are interested in this new little Alaskan. Sarah and Todd want people to share in the joy of this gift I'm giving to the Palin family, and the greater Alaska family. Many people won't understand..and I understand that. Some will think Trig should not he allowed to be born because they fear a Downs child won't be considered "perfect" in your world. (But tell me, what do you earthlings consider "perfect" or even "normal" anyway? Have you peeked down any grocery store isle, or school hallway, or into your office lunchroom lately? Or considered the odd celebrities you celebrate as "perfect" on Have you noticed I make 'em all shapes and sizes? Believe me, there is no 'perfect"!)

Many people will express sympathy, but you don't want or need that, because Trig will be a joy. You will have to trust me on this. I know it will take time to grasp this and come to accept that I only Want the best for you, and I only give my best. Remember though: "My ways are not your ways, my thoughts are not your for as the heavens are higher than the earth, my ways are higher than yours!"

I wrote that all down for you in the Good Book! Look it up! You claim that you believe me - now it's time to live out that belief!

Please look to me as this new challenge and chapter of life unfolds in front of you. I promise to equip you. I won't give you anything you can't handle. I am answering your prayers. Trig can't wait to meet you. I'm giving you ONLY THE BEST!

Love,
Trig's Creator, Your Heavenly Father

Through the more than two and a half years we've been writing about and thinking about the baby story, the phrases "Smoking Gun" and "Nail in the Coffin" have been used more than once. Each time, unfortunately, it doesn't seem to clinch it. In spite of evidence that I (and others) have considered irrefutable, somehow it's ignored, minimized, or explained away with absurd arguments.

I'm not going to use either phrase now because I've learned not to take anything for granted. But I believe we've now seen an email that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Sarah Palin's pregnancy was not as reported.

On Monday, April 7th, Sarah Palin sent this letter from her official government account to her yahoo accounts. It was the draft of the letter she eventually sent to friends and family after Trig was "born" on April 18th, eleven days later. We've known about this letter for years, as quotes from it were released to the press within three days after Trig's delivery. It had gained considerable notice because Sarah Palin wrote the letter in the name of Trig's Creator (i.e, God) But, of course, no one knew that she'd actually written it more than a week earlier.

This letter has already appeared in a number of media reports since the emails were released. Most of them take the position of the U.K Daily Mail, that this is a "touching" and "extraordinary" letter which should prove once and for all that Trig is really Sarah's.

Not so fast.

This letter was written when Sarah Palin was supposedly thirty-four weeks pregnant. Six weeks away from her announced delivery date of May 18th.

How can you possibly explain her writing a letter which thanks God for giving her an exceptionally easy pregnancy ("Then, I let Trig's mom have an exceptionally comfortable pregnancy so she could enjoy every minute of it,") when she should have been six LONG weeks away from the end? Still facing the weeks that any woman will tell you are going to be the most uncomfortable, weeks where, my female friends who have been pregnant tell me, you can't hardly find a comfortable position to sleep, your back hurts constantly, you have to run to the bathroom hourly, and sometimes the baby kicks so hard you cry.

How could Sarah know for sure that her birth would be easy and free of complications or that her baby would be, except for the Down Syndrome, healthy? I asked a friend who has had multiple home births if she could imagine writing a letter like this six weeks before her babies were born, when she still could not know the outcome, and she said, "No. You always worry. Even when you know you've had healthy babies before and you know your body and your midwife, you always worry."

And what about this sentence? "and I even seemed to rush it along..." I believe this is a clear reference to the fact that Trig came early. But how could Sarah possibly have known, on April 7th, that that was going to happen?

This letter, like so much of Sarah's life, is a chaos. Some parts reference how they are still waiting for the baby, but most of it reads 100% down the line like it's being written by someone who already knows the outcome, and knows that that outcome is a whole lot closer than six weeks away.

I see two explanations for this.

Maybe God did really write it and just put it in Sarah's head.

Or

Maybe Trig was already born when Sarah wrote this. She could speak in the voice of a god who knew what was going to happen - because she did.

Update: It looks like Andrew Sullivan, also finds this very suspicious.

Update 2: It looks like the Business Insider has taken notice of this post as well.

I think this is the smoking gun for her so-called pregnancy. she's explaining why the length of the pregnancy was so short - crafty and devious. Covering all the bases. The reason the pregancy was so short was because GOD made it that way. Just read the letter folks - who can argue with GOD?

    Dear Sarah,
Stop forging letters in my name and get busy running the SOA like people elected you to do.

I can't think of one person who would compose a birth announcement weeks away from the due date of delivery for the baby. If we are supposed to believe Sarah's version of "being pregnant" then she would have also known that carrying a baby with special needs might involve a delivery that would be anything but routine. As it was, Trig was born with a hole in his heart. If the hole was a little larger, he could have been born in fetal distress. As for the easiest pregnancy, I can't imagine receiving the news that I was carrying a DS child and calling that pregnancy "easy." It would have filled with worry.

Most of all, it is the colossal nerve of Sarah to presume to write in the voice of The Heavenly Father. Sarah has not been good at listening to what God is actually saying. During the 2008 election, Sarah said that God wouldn't let the wrong people win. He didn't.

I posted this on another thread, and there may be nothing to it, but it caught my eye.

    http://www.crivellawest.net/palinAll/pdf/14048.pdf

How do most people congratulate a still supposedly expectant mother? I know I wouldn't congratulate her on her "new arrival" if she was still pregnant.

So, did God write this letter or did sarah? Or is God, sarah or is sarah, God? I'm confused!!!!

This letter is a compelling arguement that Sarah did not give birth to Trig when she said she did, IF she did at all.

And then a member of her church- er, I mean cabinet, responded (gotta love "obeying God's laws" through Sarah and Todd):

I read the attached letter, unashamed with tears in my eyes. I am so appreciative that you would share it with me.

I agree our Father is so good! And I have absolutely no doubt that we can't even imagine the great things he has planned through the wonderful gift of Trig. Be encouraged :) it has already started. The world has already seen obedience to God's laws through you and Todd. Not common but so very needed. That alone is an immeasurable witness. Wow, the example to the youth of our state and I predict our country I God will use that obedience alone in a mighty way, but that is only the start. After seeing what has happened over the last few years I just can't wait to see all that is going to happen. Thank you Father in Jesus name for a wonderful boy named Trig. Thanks ahead of time for the blessings you have for him and the blessings he will bring to this world.

Ps. Mom sure hope I get to hold your new baby one of these days.

OMG. I don't think I rested easy until my son's first birthday. One of my best friends had a baby die due to a cord accident a week before the due date, and then she had to go through the agony of giving birth to a full-term, dead baby. I'm crying just thinking about it.

By the way, where is Trig these days. He wasn't on the "vacation" bus with his parents, grandparents, and sisters.

Why is Palin hiding him, and not taking him around in public like she would do with other children?

It gives the impression that she is ashamed or tired of spending time with him and meeting his special needs.

    Or both.

Good catch Gryphen. But I agree with you, if the media didn't pick up on the 2 (or is it 3) Trigs, or the wild ride, or the bizarre "confirmation," this is far to sophisticated for the media to pick up on.

  13. Did Sarah Palin really write it? Did someone else write it for her? Or did she get parts of it from somewhere else?

I mean, all the short, gosh-darn, you-betcha emails, and then something longer, more articulate. I don't think so.

But even if she did rip it off or modified something else, she STILL had it ready to go.

Who the HELL rights like this? I would never ever as a CHRISTIAN woman write as if I was GOD delivering a message to my family. ICK ICK ICKY!

This woman is MENTAL, evil person.

This is clearly an EVIL person wrapped up in a semi attractive package, dipped in her "christian" faith spun into a presentable package that old men get hot for and dumb women act stupid and say "she's just like me".

I have said for a long time that she knew about the Down Syndrome not because of tests, but because the baby was already born.

Besides broadcasting the fact that this letter is about a child who is already here, she tries a much too hard to convince that the DS is going to be okay. She keeps talking about 'perfect'. What child is perfect? Does she consider her other children perfect? Any human being? It's too weird.

She isn't trying to convince anyone other than herself that she'll be okay with a DS child.

A child who was obviously already born and named.

I thought the same things that you have written about here. Sometimes, after Sarah has had a big bungle like she did with the Paul Revere fiasco, I think the media look for ways to give her a pass on things that should make them go, "huh?" Such is the case with the emails. I mean, by Saturday they were saying that there was nothing in the emails but proof of a governor hard at work. By Saturday they had gone throw ALL of the emails, even with the help of readers who were all starting at the beginning, too? Huh? This is what we are continuing to deal with.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Anonymous7:19 AM

Well u know she didn't write it the day he was born cause she was signing bills so she would get her per diem for that day.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Anonymous7:24 AM

I almost think she's attempting to explain away why she never gained much belly weight, despite weight gain all around. If people who received the letter read that the pregnancy was easy, then they wouldn't question certain things. But who knows.

    We'll never really know.

    ReplyDelete
  20. In the third paragraph from the end, she refers to Trig's Mom and Dad. Two sentences later, she mentions Sarah and Todd. It gives the impression that she's referring to two separate couples.

I still want to know what the "indisputable evidence" that the Washington Post has that she gave birth to Trig is and why they haven't shared it with the blogs here to dispel the "rumor" as they call it.

  22. Anonymous7:26 AM

There is no focus at all on the due date. No "in a few weeks now," or "about the middle of May," nada. I think that pregnant women put that due date in their heads and image the calendar and what they're going to be doing (and not doing) then. Instead, the letter is written as if in the past, as people here are pointing out.

Excellent analysis of the contradictions herein, Gryphen. You are fabulous!

Evidence that Sarah Palin gave birth to fifth child and did not adopt him for political expediency?

    Monday, June 13, 2011 11:25 AM
    From: "fred harris" To:interactivity@washingtonpost.comCc: ombudsman@washingtonpost.com

Rachel Weiner asserts on WashingtonPost.com, in referring to the possibility that Sarah Palin faked her pregnancy and adopted Trig from a different (not necessarily Bristol) birth mother…

“That falsehood sprung up again months later, during the 2008 presidential campaign, and it has continued to circulate on blogs despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.”

    I ask the following:

What evidence is Ms. Weiner referring to? Please be specific. The fact that Bristol Palin was pregnant with another baby does not in any way preclude Sarah Palin from having adopted her 5th child.

Please cite this evidence that Ms. Weiner spoke of in her article.

    Thanks,

I don't know if Sarah, even with divine intervention, is capable of stringing that many words together that don't include a hate reference.
Regardless, it is a bizarre description - a new twist on her psychological issues. She seems to know what she was about to do was really fucked up & speaking in the words of God might make it less so. She speaks with knowledge of things that haven't happened yet. Hmmm.

Forget about corroborating timelines, and odd phraseology that seems to imply that the "blessed event" has already taken place...

It can't be said often enough: she's explaining WHY her pregnancy is (was) so short SIX WEEKS before it's going to be over!

And lest anyone start to back-pedal and talk about different due dates for Trig, Sharon Leighlow - Palin's spokesperson at the time - in the ADN article released the day of Trig's birth, confirms the May 18th due date again. May 18th was the date she announced and she was sticking to it! And Palin, in her interview with reporters the Monday after Trig was born also states on the record that she didn't think flying was going to be a problem because she wasn't nine months pregnant yet.

Great catch Gryphen. Please please, everyone forward this to anyone you can think of.

How can an expectant "prepare" such a letter six weeks before the baby's due date??? ANYTHING can happen in six weeks, or less! She obviously ALREADY knew that the baby (Trig) was "healthy", meaning he was already "born".

I confirm, as a mother of four healthy babies, that we moms "worry" with each pregnancy about the outcome. Some of us would actually think that writing such a letter would be a "jinx". Unless, SP is one of those super positive thinkers, which we know she is NOT. (she isn't positive nor does she think)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Anonymous7:51 AM

Without stiff (and long overdue) cross-examination of the author, it's hard to determine if this letter is a series of admissions and an attempt to cover a faked pregnancy (and to explain the arrival of a child), or simply the ramblings of a narcissistic moron.

My best guess is: both. Much of it doesn't make sense except as a cover story for a faked pregnancy, as do many of SP's statements with respect to the entire affair, along with her supposedly keeping mum about it for so long. Writing a letter in the voice of God, and referring to yourself in the third person, is hardly consistent psychologically.

I can imagine a woman with an unexpected pregnancy with a DS child writing a letter to herself from God. That makes perfect sense, as would writing a private letter to God. But to send it out to all of her friends and associates? By email? I don't think so.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Anonymous7:51 AM

I cannot imagine being so presumptive as to write a letter "from God" on any subject but to do so before the birth of a baby??? Unless, of course, the baby was already born but ready for release from a neonatal unit. But "from God"??? Why not a simple letter from a loving grandmother or adoptive mother welcoming a new member of the family?

  44. Good catch. In order for any chance of the press picking it up I think it needs to be packaged in a way they can easily understand.

"SP sends letter from one of her accounts to another April 7th, 11 days before birth of Trig and xxx before his due date, supposedly from God saying Sarah would have a very easy pregnancy and that Trig would come early." or something like that.

I suppose we'll never know the truth and to be honest I think the whole thing is a lie and I suppose if you are a drama queen then why not have your membranes rupture when you are half a continent away from the hospital. Makes you seem even more heroic.

Once again, once membranes rupture labor usually ensues. Why no mention of feeling labor on the plane? Or in the car on the way to the hospital. So if she wasn't in labor then when did it start?

Anonymous 7:26AM (3) said "Trig has been spotted in AZ. He does travel with Sarah. He's also been seen in AK chillin with Willow. Pics of him are on Bristol's fb. That's where she wrote on Apr 18th, baby brother is 3 or something like that."

This is satire right? Pretending to be one of the Palin Fairy Tale Stalker Trolls? If so very funny and good job! I can barely tell its snark.

No woman would write a letter like this six weeks before the birth of a child. Anything could go wrong. The baby was already born and she was writing the letter to herself a week before Trig's arrival so she could just send it. The composing was already done.

Do you know for sure if the "comfortable and short part of the pregnancy" was included in the original emails?

  60. Anonymous8:38 AM

Apart from the wierdness of the letter, I just don't get what the motivation was for putting it on email in the first place, so far ahead of the delivery date.

I guess she was just priming the pump for whenever the baby was going to be born, (sic), so she could just hit "send"?

Emailing it from one of her accounts to another on this date is so peculiar. The only supposition I can make is that Trig or temporary replacement baby was actually born right around this date, and she was in hurry up mode to craft this daft announcement in anticipation of the "new arrival" who would be released in a week or two. As a way of explaining why the baby was born early - i.e., "rushed."

She writes like she speaks, remember in Blind Allegiance when the editor sent back her op Ed letter? It was a mess.

After reading this letter, one has to wonder where the violins and boxes of kleenex are. Gees, what a weepy, drippy bunch of hooey. (Ya' have to wonder if some right-wing minister or pro-life speech writer wrote it for her). It is unimaginable that a supposedly mature woman (a governor no less) would pen such a tear-jerking sloppy letter such as this and send it to all of her relatives, claiming it to be from God. It was obviously designed with the purpose of tugging at heart strings.

It is hard to get past the fact that she is egotistical enough to believe that she can "use" God that way. Of course, all the people who believe like she does would simply swallow it as divine, like they swallow all the other shit that comes out of her lying mouth. It is enough to make a person vomit, especially considering how she used this child as a tool to wow the pro-life crowd into supporting her. This is sickening beyond comprehension...almost on a par with emotional blackmail.

Okay, usually A PREGNANT WOMAN gets amniocentesis ONLY if she is planning to do something like, say, have an abortion if the news is an extra chromosome. I think that I know what I am talking about. It happened to me. I still don't think that Sarah was pregnant - go check out the picture from Bree Palin, the link was posted on Laura Novack's blog last Saturday, I believe. Let's see the amniocentesis reports from the lab where Sarah had the procedure done. I still have my reports that showed an extra chromosome(a marker is what I was told it was) I am not content to just see Trig's birth certificate. You say I have no right to see such personal information. The Hell I don't! If Sarah is going to be playing God then I have a right to see her records and every flippin' American voter has a right!!!
And the name Trig being Norse for some hokey mythology meaning great and victory. In real time, way back when, I looked that up and no way was that what it meant. We all know that being the mean idiot that she is she named him for the extra chromosome: Tri-G and nothing more. I believe Levi when he said when Sarah would come home after work and she wanted to hold the baby and she was given Trig and she said, No, not the retarded one, the other one(meaning Tripp. Oh, what a loving mother that Sarah Palin. May she get the biggest come-uppance in the history of the world!!!! The higher she rises the bigger the fall. Let it come soon.

I do get it. SP didn't give birth to Trig. Cross my heart and hope to die I believe that.

Perhaps my point was a little too vague. Who writes about an easy pregnancy that included not seeking medical care for 10 or so hours? Nobody. AT least, not anybody who really, really wants the baby. So even if I believed her wild ride story, I wouldn't be writing about an easy pregnancy.

Definitely looks to be something fishy with the email ... looks like , only a DNA test can settle this once and for all ... no amount of emails will do the trick as there is always a benefit of doubt for a mother ... but looks like this one is close to a proof you can get ... right from the horses mouth

@8:02: You still don't seem to get it. Sarah wrote this eleven days before any of that (leaking fluid, etc) ever (supposedly) happened!

Ouch. Have I offended you in some manner?

It was my understanding that Sarah wrote the letter prior to acknowledging the birth of Trig, but that she sent it out after she reported the birth of Trig. I can't imagine a mother writing about an easy birth under the circumstances of her wild ride story. Therefore, this would indicate that perhaps things didn't happen as she reported.

The letter from God as written by Sarah - that's sooo Sarah. She cannot abide still waters. She must agitate them. The letter was absolutely unnecessary but she couldn't let a perfect opportunity to glorify herself go unanswered.

She pulls this crap all the time. Recall at her farewell speech in Fairbanks, she said, "Our new governor has a very nice family too, so leave his kids alone." Why, on earth would a sane person say that out of the blue? Intentionally put the cross-hairs on Sean Parnell's kids?? Sarah said it to highlight her self-imposed victimhood. Jon Stewart even made fun of her comment on his show by looking maniacal, rubbing his hands together, and saying, "Oh, so he has kids, does he?"

Sarah also said in her resignation series-of-randon-words-strung-together, "If I have learned one thing: LIFE is about choices!" My question is why does Sarah Palin continually make the wrong choice?

Why did Sarah interfere with Trig's birth in the first place? Why is perpetuating the unbelievable charade about his birth a better choice than simply telling the truth? Really, why? It's not a question of protecting anyone anymore (if that ever even was a real consideration), because this controversy will escalate until there is resolution.

Never underestimate Sarah's uncanny ability to make a non-event into a bad situation and a bad situation into a crisis.

Palin Suckup Has Hurt Feelings, Whines

It’s not going well when even those with the brownest noses turn away from you.

Some poor chap who says he once “would once have taken a bullet for Sarah” now doesn’t like her any more.

    Why?

Because she stopped paying attention to him.

Spurned lover John Ziegler tells his story of betrayal, at considerable length (for an online only piece), at The Daily Caller.

My reservoir of sympathy would have to be nearly drained before I’d feel bad for a right-wing huckster who took the bait only to find that there was a hook inside.

But Ziegler’s defection is just one more indicator that Sarah’s narcissism is so pathological that she can’t even be bothered to keep her acolytes on their knees.

She has the intellectual engagement of a bored seventh-grader, the attention span of a five-year old, and the impulse control of a toddler suffering from the terrible twos.

And now even those so pathetic as to have thought she brought meaning to their lives (aka Rebecca Mansour) are turning away from her.

Mainstream media is/are always a step behind because it/they are afraid to risk being a step ahead, so their people are still poring over meaningless emails, but Ziegler’s cri de coeur is like the canary in the coal mine: a warning to Palinists to get out now, while you still can, otherwise risk being found in the rubble.

She didn't put it out prior to the birth . She wrote it to herself and sent it from her official government account, to her yahoo account(s) eleven days before Trig was "born."

There's no evidence any one else saw it until after Trig's - ahem - birth on April 18th. Furthermore, this might have been a rough draft only because the version in Going Rogue is a bit different. The point is, she wanted to have something "at the ready."

The important thing though is that eleven days before Trig's announced birth date and a six full weeks prior to her announced DUE date, she's writing about her easy pregnancy in the past tense.

No one would write a letter like that without knowing the outcome of a delivery. Yes, sane loving moms-to-be do worry about every little possibility. And, especially if they knew a DS baby was coming, they'd be praying for it's health; possible heart defects, blindness, deafness, feeding, any and all problems that tiny DS babies can have. They'd be counseled by their doctor beforehand what possibilities to expect, so they'd be mentally ready to handle the many outcomes and they'd be prepared to expect the baby to possibly have a long stay at hospital if he needed surgery.

I can't understand how Sarah at that time, weeks before he was born, was writing as though everything would go smoothly and perfectly. How could she be certain that the child might not be able to do all the things she described in her e-mail? Laugh, bring joy, play, be mischievous with his siblings?

Most christians say, "if God wills" I will do this or that. They are always mindful that God, who is their pilot and guide in their lives, may take ask more of them than they would care to handle. The see the future as not their own, but take living one day at a time.

The letter (e-mail) sounds like she already knew the outcome of Trig's birth.

  99. Anonymous10:14 AM

I truly believe Sarah is a psycho with issues like Bristol has.

I don't have the time to write everything but with their history it shows they are alike. If you desperately need attention how do you do it? Try out for Miss Alaska, DWTS, mayor, governor public speaker, reality show in Alaska, reality show in LA to name a few and the thing is they were not even qualified to do any of those things..

They both also have two personalities, there is the fake sweet public person and the mean insecure vindictive private person. They both have that evil controlling aspect about them. When Bristol and Levi were separated, Bristol tries to control him and his family by using Tripp as a carrot, they had to jump through hoops and agree to conditions to see Tripp. Then Bristol tells the magazines Levi does not see Tripp. Bristol dictated who could not see Tripp such as Levi's ex or current girlfriends even though it's okay for Bristol to have Tripp around Gino and Ben(GROW UP Bristol!), no pictures of Tripp and Levi for magazines (it’s okay for Bristol to pimp out Tripp to magazines). Sarah did the similar things as a high school basketball player, mayor and governor. In high school, people use to wonder how she got playing time and it helped that she would kiss up to her coach and talk about what her teammates did wrong. As far as winning the state championship, Sarah was not that helpful but as usual she wanted the credit. In her political career, it was Sarah's way or the highway. As mayor, she demanded nobody talk to the press. Sarah needed "Yes people" as shown in the released emails. You can read it yourselves, it was absolutely sickening how the people who worked for her always had to stroke her ego, kiss her butt and tell her how good she was. How can these people even walk down the street with their heads up knowing their families and friends now knows how much of a kiss butt they all were. Sad to say, reading those Sarah admiration “I love you boss” emails from her workers sounds like Frank Bailey’s time with Sarah, blind allegiance. As governor, Sarah did not trust anybody, she needed loyalty. Sarah fired good workers who had families to support and mortgages to pay for and then she hired incompetent friends, classmates and family. One was hired because she liked cows as a kid or something.

Life with Bristol and Sarah must be like living in hell and that is why Levi and Bristol are not together today. Levis is not going to be a doormat to Bristol like Todd is to Sarah.

As far as looks goes, Sarah always wanted to look like Trump’s wife and even with money Sarah has, you just can’t put a pretty bow on a pig. A pig is a pig, can’t imagine Sarah showing up to a party with white stains on a black skirt with shoes 3 sizes too big smiling away for the cameras, but she did. Her hair is in poor shape and she has to wear wigs, her breast are flat and she has to wear push up or water bras to look attractive and basically that is what Sarah’s life is all about, one big fake show. Speaking of fake, Bristol nobody believes loosing 5 lbs and teeth alignment makes your chin grow about a foot long.

It will be interesting to see Willow and Piper in a few years.

I have been firm in the belief that Sarah is not Trig's birth mother. After reading that letter, however, I have another theory that makes sense to me in many ways. Does anyone out there think it possible that she did birth Trig, but just not when she said she did. Could she have hidden the pregnancy and secretly given birth earlier? Perhaps she planned to not acknowledge him as her child, i.e., give him up for adoption or institutionalze him. Then when the possibility of the VP job came up, she figured the secret would be discovered when they vetted her (and destroy those White House hopes) so she thought it better to bring him into the family via the 6 week pregnancy. Thoughts, anyone?

Sarah, if God spoke those kind loving words in regards to Trig, then I would imagine he knew that a woman in your blessed circumstances would advocate for other down syndrome babies who He loves with all His heart too. He gave you a great opportunity to work in a capacity for other voiceless down syndrome babies and their families, who our Creator loves and watches and sees.

I know a thankful and appreciative christian would want to give of oneself after having received this great gift, a healthy DS baby who could teach us so much, and would know, according to scripture, that it would be a servant's heart to give back to mankind what Jesus first gave to us.

So, please tell us what you plan to do with this great blessing, opportunity to help other families cope with down syndrome challenges? I could suggest a few things: Start a prayer group and focus on praying everyday for all children with physical challenges; Perhaps start a foundation, a Support Group for women with DS children who have no family support, money, to provide their DS child with the proper tools to help them improve and grow. Instead of being paid speaker to these groups, volunteer your time and energy, become the group advocate and start up support group chapters and coordinate these chapters with private or public orgs and get the word out there and bring awareness about these great needs. Your standing and popularity, along with your business talents would contribute greatly to these causes.

    The Day Trig Was Born

This was written four hours after her water broke. Then this an hour and a half after we are told Trig was actually born:

In a series of e-mails around 8 a.m. on the morning of April 18, Palin’s communications and political staff shared strategies and important contacts with Palin that she could use to try to become chairperson of the National Governors Association’s natural resources committee. In e-mails sent to Palin and copied to her closest aides, including her chief of staff, there is no mention of a pending Palin family birth and there is no record that Palin responded.

Her staff had no idea, it seems, that she was giving birth at all. That's how secretive she was about this whole thing, even during this remarkable labor. And am I alone in detecting a tiny bit of skepticism creeping into the Washington Post's report here? I mean, even a MSM editor cannot keep a straight face all the time.

The "you" here is Sarah. She did not write this letter. As corny as this letter is, it is written too well and too focused for Sarah to have written it on her own.

Whomever wrote this version that Sarah then pasted into an email, knows exactly what he or she is doing in terms of religious fundamentalist propaganda. This person hits all the buttons. It seems clear that this person has written such propaganda, political speeches, or religious-speak before. (I checked with God and he said nothing. Can I take that as a no?)

Makes me suspicious that this person might also be involved with supplying the baby along the associated rhetoric. Any ideas of who might have written this for her? I have no doubt that Sarah was involved. I think someone in her extended family must have come up with information about Trig as a family name and what it means. Sarah does not strike me as having enough brain space to keep positive facts about extended family members - she needs most of her brain for herself and her vendettas.

Notes: American nickname given to boys who have the suffix III

    Two interesting things.

That suddenly she picks a name of Norse derivation. And that Tripp means the third. (Even though I think it has something to do with Shailey Tripp). Now, knowing that the Palin's aren't that creative with names, could Tripp literally be the third baby? I know Gryph doesn't subscribe to Bristol being Trigs Mother but what if she had a miscarriage (or abortion), then Trig, then Tripp. Tripp would be the third.

Any family that choses names so literally (Track, Bristol) makes me suspicious.

Then, I put the idea in your hearts that his name should be "Trig", because it's so fitting, with two Norse meanings: *True' and "Brave Victory'. You also have a Bristol Bay relative with that name, so I knew it would be best for you!

When is someone (you, please, Gryphen) going to do an expose on this? WHO is her "Bristol Bay relative"? I've done some cursory research, and I don't think he exists.

Even simpler, others have written about the idea that "Trig" is not Norse, etc.

Please, write a long, detailed post about this non-existent relative and this non-Norse name.

    Three things:

This entire email is personal, but it wasn't redacted. Sarah must have wanted this released. Why? Obviously, she thinks it supports the lie that she bore Trig. (Um, Sarah? It doesn't.)

"Some of the rest of the world may not want him" - this suggests they looked into adoption and found that DS made that much less likely to occur.

In a speech or an interview (not in Going Rogue) she said that it was on the anniversary of her first year in office that she learned of the DS. From email, we see that she had a "do not schedule" on Dec. 3, 2007 from 11:30am to 1:30pm and she talks about "if my appointment runs late..." This matches Going Rogue in which she says that she had an ultrasound (pretty well documented everywhere as being in December), and CBJ called the next day with the possibility of DS diagnosis and telling Sarah to make an appt. with a specialist in Anchorage. I AM NOT saying Sarah was the one on whom the ultrasound was performed. What I am saying is that SP took the time off on Dec 3 to be with the person who was carrying a baby with DS. Logically, I can't believe she accompanied anyone other than her own daughter to such a procedure. No full grown sister, sister-in-law, mistress of the Toad, etc. would have been important enough for the governor skip out of work to be there. Nor would any of them want her there. This was a "normal" pregnancy up to this point. My money is on Bristol as the birth mom.

Yes, Bots, this is what the hardworking governor of Alaska was doing right in the middle of a work day- writing letters to her family in the voice of God. I can only imagine what Sarah would do in the Oval Office....

I don't remember a letter from anyone ever written in the "voice of God". Any author, preacher, priest, saint, pope - did anybody ever presume to write "in the voice of God"? I've never read the entire Old Testament - so maybe I missed it if any of those books are said to be written by God Himself. I don't remember that any of the New Testament books were written by God or Jesus.
    But Sarah does it.

How come Sarah Palin is so special in God's eyes that she doesn't suffer childbirth like all the rest of us women do? How come God gave her and only her an "exceptionally comfortable pregnancy" and even shorter than most women?

She goes to shocking and great lengths to cover her lies.

I's love to agree with you about this letter showing that the delivery would be early. But, a careful reading of what she wrote disproves that. If the sentence "I even seemed to rush it along" ended right there, then it would demonstrate that she knew the baby would come prematurely.

Unfortunately, it does not. It actually goes on to say, "I even seemed to rush it along so she could wait until near the end to surprise you with the news - that way Piper wouldn't have so long to wait and count down so many days - just like Christmastime when you have to wait, impatiently, for that special day to finally open your gift?" That shows that "God" is talking about the BEGINNING of the pregnancy seeming short -- not the end.

Interest bill that got signed into Alaskan state law about giving away babies to churches, health care workers, and such just befor Trig was born.

I'm sure that there is are very tight public recods about giving up babies and taking them. This baby dump and swap program swap program that $arah signed into law is almost custom made for little Trigy, and it sure does smell a littly fishy.

Maybe Bristal did abort a child, maybe not. Maybe she just got fat and emotional sick because of all the BS in the Palin family. I'm going to pretend that Bristal is not Trigs mom. I don't think Levi is the dad of Trig, but might of become Bristals boy friend again after her sickness or what ever reason she missed and changed schools so manny times.

We know how blessed sister $arah was by people in high churchy political places. The nice 7 mountain folks that will do anything to gain power and money for when he comes back and all hell breaks loose on Earh again. Fake a baby...... no problem.....its the quick way to the 7 mountains of right wing nut power if it works.

My belief is that, a plan to throw the media off and win the hearts and minds of all the right wing nuts, was created with the, "Trig Child". Maybe Trig was born eary by a young women of the chuchy right that wanted to give the child up. Infact she mostlike didn't know what was going to happen to her baby and sign off any and all contact in the future.

Even with the godly control and closed doors surrounding the real birth of Trig. Things don't always go as planned. That why there was a wild ride and baby swaps for photo ops.

mlaiuppa@9:36 has it right I think with this observation:
"I see the rush it along line as a reference to making it look like she wasn't pregnant until the very end."

That is exactly what I thought too after reading the bizarre letter. You just have to think like Sarah to get the true meaning, God appeared to rush along the first seven months in a way that no one was able to notice she was pregnant, so there was no long waiting period for Piper etc...between the time of the public announcement (which is when her kids ostensibly found out too) and the expected due date.

So I don't think this letter is any kind of smoking gun in the sense she was prescient about an early delivery. I see Andrew has it up too gryph, so it is getting more attention.

This is a very good catch. I read the Crivella doc multiple times before I caught the "April 7" date in the thread. Maybe for clarity you should spell out where the April 7 reference is. e.g.,

It looks like the sequence of emails:

    - Tom Irvin sends a congratulations email on 4/18 at 1:43PM that he "just read the press announcement."
    - He sends a follow up at 6:18PM letting them know Trig shares a birthday with his daughter Marci (http://www.crivellawest.net/palinAll/pdf/13753.pdf)

Apparently, Palin thanks Tom Irwin for his emails and then forwards him her missive from god. Instead of forwarding the email she sent to her family on 4/18, she sends him her draft from 4/7.

    - Tom replies to her thank you email which shows her forwarded message. The forward headers show the "letter from god" was sent to Palin's yahoo account on April 7th. (http://www.crivellawest.net/palinAll/pdf/13767.pdf)

The bill was pushed through the second year of the 25th Legislature in January-February 2008 by the temporary governor and accomplices in anticipation of Trig's up-coming birth. In January 2008, someone was about 5 months pregnant with Trig.

Yes, I've tossed this idea about. But who is the father, if Toad was away at conception time? I've even considered she tried a late term abortion but the baby lived or she panicked when it lived so she had it resuscitated? But it would be far more compromised than any of the Tri-Gs we know about. The only thing I know is that she was NOT pregnant in March or April, was faking it and did not give birth At MatSu on 4/18. The possibility of her having actually been pregnant at some time is there, to muddy the waters further. But who is ruffles and the Tri-Gs (sounds like a rock group)

Right. She SHOULD have turned power over to her LG, in case she became temporarily incapacitated, say the baby was dying and CBJ had to slice Sarah open quickly to rescue the baby. I agree. My thought of the day after reading the letter from God today is that someone with a promotional interest helped Sarah write that letter.

And if Trig is not Bristol's and if Bristol had been pregnant earlier, then I would not completely discount a baby swap, perhaps even a DS baby for an FAS baby. My understanding is that although the probability of a woman having a DS baby increases with age, the average age of women having DS babies is much younger because the number of women having babies is larger for younger women. Perhaps a teenager having a DS baby is not as unlikely as we would think. However, if one were to guess what a disability might be for a first Bristol baby it would be FAS. It is so prevalent in Alaska.

The Trig that eventually showed up was a much older baby than a premature baby would have been. The email from the Anchorage princpal suggest that Bristol was (back?) in his school at the time of the email. I am not sure what that email means in terms of Bristol attending classes.

AND, Trig very well might have nothing to do with Bristol. I cannot keep track of the changing data regarding Bristol. Mono, no mono, etc. I don't know of any school mates from Anchorage speaking out. It must have been a large high school to hide the absence or presence of a Palin.

This is not intrinsically about Bristol anyway. It is all about Sarah, an adult, who uses her kids for her own advantage.

Granted. I am not a conspiracy minded person. I just put this out as one thought on one day. Anon at 11:45 pointed out something very interesting regarding the adoption of babies. And merits more thought from someone who can look into it.

All the swamping out of the babies, ruffled ear or not. No wonder people who don't know Sarah and the culture of people around her would think everyone who writes on these blogs is either conspiratorial or vindictive. Instead, we are simply trying to make sense out of things that do not make sense!

Speaking for myself, I know she was not pregnant with Trig. That is all I really know. I'm not very optimistic about the real story coming out. I do not know what it is. I would like for people to realize they were badly used by a highly publicized fraud surrounding Sarah's adoption of Trig and that Sarah does not value the truth when it relates to her. You would think there's enough evidence of the latter even in main stream media. But with Sarah, "enough" seems to be a moving target.

Anon 7:26... PROVE IT!! Spotted in AZ?? My ass you liar.
" Chillin with Willow?" yeah sure- who writes like this but 13 year olds and Sarah.

Is Trig being educated? Does he have OT, ST and PT?? Where?? Many /most DS kids get hours a day of therapy/education so they can develop to their true potential. Where is Trig getting these services? His mom is a millionaire so surely she can afford the best therapy and education. You would think he would have the best hearing aids and help communicating his needs. Can he eat on his own? Speak? Or is he using sign language. I bet all the Palins know signing fluently if Trig is using sign. I think we should all write to Fox and ask them to do a show on this. Then they could talk about all the stuff that insurance and the school system don't cover and how hard that is for parents. I think Sarah should be doing fund raisers for organizations that help families and/or are involved in research, don't you Palin fans?? Has she done any- you know for free?? How strange no one in the media has ever asked Sarah about Trigs education and therapy. In most families with a DS child, this consumes their entire life!
    Hmmm.…

I asked a friend who has had multiple home births if she could imagine writing a letter like this six weeks before her babies were born, when she still could not know the outcome, and she said, "No. You always worry. Even when you know you've had healthy babies before and you know your body and your midwife, you always worry."

Putting it down in writing like that would have felt, to me, like I was tempting a jinx. I can't imagine doing it.

  160. The best parts of the letter are in the beginning: first, God greets all the lucky family members except...THE PARENTS; then she names Trig, but then takes it back when she remembers he wasn't born yet. God? Is that you Sarah?

Could it be that Sarah thinks the Trig controversy will propel her all the way into the White House?

Sarah could prove she's the birth mother of Trig but chooses not to. Perhaps she's got something sinister lined up. She could be holding back proof until the perfect opportunity presents itself to maximize her political brownie points. That's how she'd play this game, isn't it? Wait until it looks like she has zero chance of realistically opposing Obama and then, whammo!, launch a long shot toward the hoop...

No, I'm not Trig's birth mother. I'm his grandmother but I adopted him out of love for my daughter and my grandson and, of course, I had to create a cover story. The LSM has been the cause of much distress in my family life and now I am forced into making a very private matter public. I'm a victim. I'm pro-life. I'm a saint. Vote for me.

    or maybe...

Yes, I'm Trig's birth mother. Here's his birth certificate. The LSM has unjustly impuned my honor and now I am forced into making a very private matter public. I'm a victim. I'm pro-life. I'm a saint. Vote for me.

Nope, wouldn't be surprised to see her continue using Trig to prop up her career. Trig can take one for the team.

Of course I can't find the email right now, but one of her emails from, I believe a staffer, right after Trig's official birth wrote (paraphrasing now) "You got Trig and I only got a puppy"
Seems a odd comment to make to someone if she had just given birth. Adopting either a child or a puppy makes this comment more reasonable, tho I am not sure why I am looking for reason when it has to do with this group.

With respect to anon at 11:45 and anon at 12.34, Andrew Sullivan provided the link to the email from Sharon Leighow for the Press Release of about the "Safe Haven" bill; http://palinemail.msnbc.msn.com/palin2011/pdf/12030.pdf.

I was reminded when I read this that someone said that Sarah in her book states that only Kris Perry and Sharon Leighow had known about the pregnancy. Sharon writes press releases. This letter from God reads like Sarah's press release for the birth and of course written ahead of time as they often are. I don't know anything about Kris and Sharon otherwise, but Sharon would be able to write in complete sentences.

Someone here noted that this Monday April 7 14:17 email is sent during the work day. Sounds like Sharon might have just been doing her job. Delivered the draft product to Sarah. Sarah cut and pasted it into her email so that she would have it and it would be her words henceforth. No one sits down in email and writes something that long without all sorts of mistakes and needs for editing.

I picked up an inconsistency. In the first paragraph, we get "To the Sisters, Brother, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends of Trig Paxson Van Palin (or whatever you end up naming him!)"

Then, in the fourth paragraph, it goes, "Then, I put the idea in your hearts that his name should be "Trig", because it's so fitting, with two Norse meanings:"

First off, it's written that God's telling them to name him whatever they end up naming him. Then, a change of mind, where God decides they should name him Trig.

At the ends of 2nd(twice) 3rd, 4th, 6th, 10th, and then the last paragraphs, mentioned 7 TIMES, is "I only want the best for you" or "I knew it would be the best for you" or "I'm giving you only the best". - This is very telling as it addresses Sarah, her family and friends as being the ones that God supposedly wants the best for.

What about Trig? Is there a "I only want the best for Trig?" in there?

    @Teal, I loved your silliness.

"Trig's mom and dad don't want people to focus on the baby's extra chromosome."

Then why did Palin hold him up as a trophy? I thought that was what we were all focussed on - the Down Syndrome baby that she didn't abort.

I thought Lucy made a very good point earlier.

"It was my understanding that Sarah wrote the letter prior to acknowledging the birth of Trig, but that she sent it out after she reported the birth of Trig. I can't imagine a mother writing about an easy birth under the circumstances of her wild ride story. Therefore, this would indicate that perhaps things didn't happen as she reported."

There was no mention of the Wild Ride in the email that she sent out. She could have edited it to say something about the early arrival of Trig. Afterall, she was emailing about bills and things two hours after she had given birth...whatta woman. The rest of us are wimps, confined to bed after birth unable to move after the epidural or else just plain exhausted after labour. While this email is not definitive proof of her deception, it is a smoking gun.

I would love to know if this was the version she sent to everyone, or did she add the comment about being comfortable and rushed at a later stage.

10:15 No, no, no, no! Sarah had a tubal ligation at the time Piper was born. She wasn't going to go through child birth any more after that one. Four kids were enough for her. That's why a Trig birth certificate will not be enough. Sarah's medical records must be released in full if she wants to run for the job of Commander in Chief. This is why Sarah will never let her medical records be viewed - she was "fixed".

It's not fun to read this letter from Sarah to herself again. But the 2nd reading does sound like she wrote the email with help from something she may have read and used in the letter. Maybe a prayer in a book, and who knows when it comes to this nut.
But whatever prompted her to write this, it does sound like her bs added to something she read. What a dolt she is! She can't help herself, when it comes to letting out part of her "so clever self".

If this was the only strange thing about Palin's pregnancy, I think you could say she was happy she had had an easy pregnancy so far (although you still have to rationalize the "rush it along" comments before she actually gave premature birth).

It's not just this letter. It's everything. The flat belly pictures and then the huge belly a few days later; the full belly Gusty/McAllister pictures that mysteriously appear on the Internet out of nowhere in September when the pregnancy is challenged; the lack of birth announcement from the hospital; the too large preemie and the two large Trig at the convention; the fact that the doctor clammed up and won't give a statement to the press. I could go on and on and on.

the text for an e-mail can be written/editted over many hours/days/months. The date/time on an email gives ZERO indication of when the text was written. At best the email date/time says when someone hit "send" (if you believe the email has not been altered).

In fact, a good coherent long email is frequently the product of copy/paste from some software editor of a text file that's been re-read and fixed. Try it yourself, improve your communications.

The version of this letter in Going Rogue leaves out the paragraphs about Trig coming early and how it would be easy. This isn't surprising as Sarah changes her version of the truth on an almost daily basis.

The other thing that adds to the idea that Sarah did not give birth to Trig is her e-mails sent at approximately 10:00 A.M. on the morning Trig was born. Imagine that, after being up since early on the 17th due to amniotic fluid leaking, I think it was 1:30 A.M. in Alaska, she gave a speech later that day around lunchtime then took two flights back to Alaska, where upon arriving she went to the hospital in either Anchorage or Palmer,(it depends on which version of Sarah's story you believe) where she "gave birth" 7 hours later.

According to Sarah, she was given Pitocin to induce labor which makes labor anything but "EASY". Ask any woman who has had it if it made things easier and they will look at you as if you have lost your mind. It's also a good indication Palin is lying, especially with her saying that the birth was easy because he was small. Six pounds, two ounces, is slightly below average for a full-term baby but it doesn't make things easy. Just another lie from Sarah. Now we're supposed to believe that she hasn't had any sleep in over 24 hours and she's still awake four hours after giving birth and emailing her staff about things at work? No woman is up to that after being in labor for hours, especially not at 45 years old. Sarah did not give birth to Trig on April 18 or any other day.

"The fact remains that Palin could make Gryphen, Andrew Sullivan and all of us look like the crazy ones in seconds by just proving what every mother can: the birth of their very own child."

She has a birth certificate. The child was born, so he has a birth certificate. It just isn't a birth certificate that reflects the story she's told. What she doesn't have are medical records showing details of a Sarah Palin pregnancy in 2008. Like a sonogram with her name on it. Or pictures of herself looking like a new mother in a hospital bed.

Right, most doctor's close for lunch. That makes this all the more likely that it was a Palin secret pregnancy being treated by a CBJ colleague on Dec. 3 during the lunch hour. Can you imagine Bristol or Sarah or both sitting in a waiting room with others? No. Lunch is exactly how I would expect it to have been handled. Very strange.

I also find it a little offensive that she said there's no normal, and an entire paragraph is devoted to questioning what normal is. Because apparently a retarded kid is normal, but a healthy, gay child is not. Apparently God creates retarded people, but not gay people.

Came across this today. Sorry if this is old news...

That bottle she is feeding whichever the hell Trig that is, is from a breastpump. Very popular brand, I used it with my 3 kiddos. It's medella, and they are very distinctive looking short bottles with pale yellow caps.

And if you look to the left of the lady feeding Trig, you will see a small black canvas insulated cooler. This comes with a medella add on kit for working mother's, that purple loop on the side is a pacifier clip.

And this could be wrong but I am throwing it out there, on the styrofoam plate it looks like a medella nipple shield. These are clear, you almost do not notice they are there. They are for when BFing hurts alot, you can put them between you and the baby.

This is just interesting to me because as a mother who pumped for all my kids I know it's not possible for SP to have pumped on the 08 campaigne. You have to do it every 2 or 3 hrs and if you don't, you get fevers, mastitis, and alot of other very painful or embarassing things.

But based on this pic, sure looks like someone on that bus was pumping/BFing. If that IS a nipple shield on the table, it definitely means someone was pumping AND nursing. Have a feeling it was like, nurse when nobodys watching, go in the back room and pump when too many eyes are on the bus. Just my 2 cents.

Gryph, you should be in forensics. You hit the nail on the head here. As a mother myself, and with my second pregnancy being difficult with the possibility of a special needs child, I just now shut my eyes and tried to imagine writing a letter like this. For one thing I could never imagine writing in the first person as God, but Aside from that realized no way on earth could I have written something like this ahead of time. No way, just like other posters have said.

Also, this doesn't sound like SP's writing. Someone else wrote it, she edited it. The groundwork was being laid for the conspiracy. She had help with this. This is most definitely a smoking gun.

It is unusual for any mother to write birth announcements when the baby isn't due for weeks. Since Trig was going to be a child with special needs, Sarah did not know that was going to be a fast, easy or anything else kind of pregnancy unless Trig was already born, and recovering in a neonatal ward. The choices are Anchorage or Seattle, which has a better infant cardiovascular department. Trig was born with a hole in his heart. There is nothing easy or blessed in that; most parents would be and should be concerned about jaundice and a hole in the heart, even if knowledge of these conditions were supposed to be weeks away. The only way to describe that letter is that God told Sarah what to expect or Sarah has ESP.

And we'rr are back to a premie with multiple birth defects who is not likely to be released from the hospital in 2 days.

However hospitals, these days kick patients out when they, the hospital decide it is time.

So if the real mother has signed the baby over (like Sarah wanted Bristol & Levi to do.) and TriG was deemed ready for release, after say 10 days neonatal care, that would explain the rushed flight home.

The Ob makes the morning rounds, decides the baby is strong enough to release but the "parents" were not willing to stay close by to receive the gift from God. They did want to receive the money and or connections from the speech.

So they deserted the baby and went to Texas.

RESPONSE: I've heard nothing to indicate that Tr, Br, Wi, & Pi aren't Todd and Sa. Legally and psychologically. Whose DNA they have isn't any of our business.
TriG's DNA is a different story. It appears to involve a political hoax, so with serious reservations, I am interested in that story.
But I can't think of a reason to disturb the oldest four children. The issue isn't whether there is a personal skeleton/scandal, and going on a fishing expedition for what the community might consider scandalous for no other purpose than retaliation (or revenge, or to score points) is very unkind to four children who have enough dysfunction in their life already.

    RE: Pitocin

Now the cascade of lies is starting to accumulate really stink. My first child - 6 weeks early. Mom on best rest from PIH. It was a race to get my daughter to an estimated five pounds because mom's kidneys were beginning to malfunction. That is not the point. We went in for two days and did Pit. I watched mom go through the process of increasing the dosage and it was several hours before the contractions began to come rhythmically and they were incredibly painful. Still regular contractions and dilation didn't get us there. Every day we went home she was exhausted and she went to bed immediately Next morning back at the hospital at six for another round. Took Sunday off and daughter was born Monday. Pit was started that morning at six, again no real action until about nine. Then two hours where the Pit contractions overlay and even clashed with regular contractions so she was barely able to catch her breath before another contraction hit. They finally shut off the Pit at about eleven and a half hour later regular labor started but the Pit contractions continued for almost three hours after they removed it.

Long story - but there's no way they would have started her on Pit if her water had broken and she was in labor. She was in labor by her own words in TX. That means ten hours of labor minimum BEFORE she got the the hospital. TEN HOURS! Then she gets to the hospital and her doctor decides to start her on Pit? Why? Because labor wasn't progressing? She would have had to go at least one to two hours before the doc would start Pit so they could see how she was progressing, the intervals between her regular contractions. Then they would have started the Pit - let's generously call that three - four a/m. Then she starts getting contractions overlaying her regular contractions about five or six a.m.? Then Trig is born at 6:30? When then did they stop the Pit? That makes no sense. In fact it makes less sense when you consider that she's texting and emailing as "governor" by eight, when she would be exhausted from double labor, pushing, etc and the little nipper comes out and she shoves him aside and in the midst of expelling placenta, getting sutured, getting the nipper cleaned up, Apgared, weighed etc, trying to get the nipper to take the nip, fighting residual Pit contractions she's back to work as gov? Sorry if I'm being redundant but No Fucking Way. I've been there when Pit was used and I can tell you that for at least a couple of hours you are immobilized and in pain. Even if she had an epidural it wouldn't matter much. Might block pain but doesn't reduce fatigue etc. And can we ask what is this doctor doing running L&D on a woman who has broken water over 12 hours earlier, has a premature infant of unknown size with DS and potential birth problems? Why wasn't she sent to the Anchorage hospital? That doc's actions and decisions border on malpractice, no wonder she retired from practice. Or maybe she retired because she knew the story that was concocted would cast a very bad light on her, and with good reason.

We all know how she derives such overwhelming joy from every opportunity to paint herself as a victim. Obviously, this letter was drafted several weeks before the expected due date. However, can we really believe that, if she had actually experienced the Wild Ride and subsequent birth, that she would not edit the letter to include what had happened to her poor, poor self?

The DETERMINATION it took to hold her amniotic fluid in by sheer will, the SELFLESSNESS it took to pretend to everyone in several airports and planes that she was not experiencing the crushing pain of labor, the COURAGE needed to bypass numerous hospitals and medical centers to give birth at an under-equipped hospital that she knew was not equipped to deal with a premature DS baby. I should add to my comment from a moment ago-

Sarah, you may think saying "Trig has been spotted" will make people stop questioning the safety and location of Trig. It most definitely will NOT.

I encourage everyone to join me in writing to the Scottsdale Police Dept AND county social services. This is not about politics or winning or which party is better.

This is about a small child who has not been seen in MONTHS. Despite multiple occasions where his entire family was present and accounted for...HE remained unseen. Even for his 3rd birthday, his "mother" tweeted the EXACT. SAME. PHOTO. of Trig which she had tweeted for his SECOND birthday.

That tells me she could not produce a more recent photo. She knew she would face criticism for not having access to a photo taken in the last YEAR...but she correctly surmised it would blow over...and of course it did.

Why won't you show Trig, Sarah? Is he too hateful to you like everyone says, does he really arch his back and shriek in anguish when you try to hold him? Or does he look too much like his REAL mother or father? Or maybe not ENOUGH like one of your "stand in Trigs"?

I am going to write a simple note of concern about Trig not having been seen in so long. If anyone has a confirmable "last seen date", I'd appreciate the info. And NO, Sarah...I do not count "I saw them at applebees, Trig was laughing and smiling!" as a confirmable sighting.
