The 43 individuals whose career will be ended (according to the Palin-bots), when Sarah Palin decides run for President and rub their elitist noses in it.

From Recovering Liberal:

These 43 assorted Beltway insiders, pundits, columnists, talk show hosts, political television show hosts, religious leaders,"progressive" and other bloggers all agree on one subject (or variations thereof) "Sarah Palin won't run for president in 2012."

In their "objectivity" they have variously described her as running a clown show, a reality TV show, an ego parade, a personal rehabilitation exercise, a narcissistic agenda, a revenge against the media program and other, varied, descriptions of Palin and her motives. These opinions pontificated from their elitist seats at the table of the oracle's temple.

I haven't included the mad "Trig truther" bloggers of course-not crediting them as seers (much less as human beings). The following pundits, linked to their statements so they can't run and hide/deny them, may, shortly, all have egg on their collective faces, damaged, hopefully irreversibly so, reputations, and will have been given a lesson by the master of the new Realpolitik. (What? He left me off? It must really piss this guy off that we are always right.)

Here is the list:
Joshua Green (Boston.com)
Taylor Marsh
Hot Air (Patrick Ishmael-Palin’s most likely role in the 2012 cycle would be as a coronator. I still believe that’s basically right.)
Thomas Taschinger
Ace Of Spades; Gabriel Malor "but my money says she's not running " June 26th/11
Newsweek
Dennis DiClaudio
Bill Kristol
Dennis Miller
Robert Paul Reyes
Eugene Robinson
Brit Hume
Bill O'Reilly
Party Hard Politics
David Letterman-Palin's not running, I wish she were, it would be entertaining.
Charles Krauthammer " Showed her power in 2010 as kingmaker and opinion shaper. Must know (I think) she has little chance at the nomination and none in the general election. Why risk it and the inevitable diminishment defeat would bring?. Mitch Daniels has 6-1 chance for nomination/Barbour 7-1.
George Will
David Brooks
Fred Malek
Michael Savage
Karl Rove
John Harwood
Michael Stickings (Moderate Voice)
Dan Karipides
Big Think
Grover Norquist
Franklin Graham
Booman Tribune
Tim Heffernan (Esquire)
Lawrence O'Donnell
Jonathan Capehart
Ann Coulter
Mark McKinnon
John Feehery
Opinion L.A.
Jason Campbell
Joshua Green (The Atlantic)
Jumping In Pools
Kathleen O'Brien (Star-Ledger)
Paul Harris (Guardian U.K.)
Opinion Writings
Ian Stevenson

Damn!  Is there anybody even left?  I mean isn't that just about EVERYBODY who has discussed Palin's potential candidacy? (Except foe the "Trig-Truthers" of course.)

Well personally I am leaning toward Snowdrift Snooki not running as well, but I will always leave open the possibility that she will launch some half-ass temporary campaign to reinvigorate her base, before unceremoniously quitting over some completely fabricated family crisis.

(BTW as you can imagine the Sea O'Pee loved this post and also linked to it. You know I love the smell of desperation in the morning!)

I saw that earlier on the Pee site and just laughed at the title "These 43 People Have Some Explaining to Do If/When Governor Palin Runs"
They never once consider that it goes both ways. Who will have some explaining to do if/when she doesn't run?
    What a bunch of idiots!

Sarah needs to keep her fans thinking that there is a possibility that she will run. They keep asking for donations as a sign of support for Sarah. That film needs to get back some of its money, so she'll be out promoting it (and maybe Bristol's book) for a while.

As long as donations pour (trickle?) into SarahPAC and Sarah is not an announced candidate, she can spend that money any way she wants. Once she announces, it is subject to tight regulation, even though the FEC does a poor job of enforcement.

My guess is that Sarah will keep up the "will she or won't she" as long as she can. It gets her attention and maybe a few more dollars. Once she announces that she is or is not running, then she will either be one of the pack of candidates, or considered someone on the sidelines.

    Interesting sequence here:

April 25: Franklin Graham opines Palin will not run for President.

June 22: Palin quits on Franklin Graham Sudan trip with apparently phony jury excuse (no jury trials even called for her area that week, none for the following week due to 4th of July holiday, no subsequent proof she was ever called for any jury panel, and she was immediately off to Iowa with no obvious jury constraints).

Is Franklin Graham now under the bus as well (for daring to opine that she will not run, suggesting by same that she is either not qualified or not electable?)?

  5. palin will never run as i have stated forever and...of course she will try to have influence to keep the flying monkeys from attacking her but she will not have any power as "king maker".

the loons have no where else to go and palin is not in the business of helping others.

in fact if romney for ex.gets the nomination he will be running away from palin the idiot and her 70% negatives.

I think she will grift as long as she can and then run as a "tea Potty" candidate. But there is NO tea Party. She will not get on the ballot in any state or territory. Then her followers will whine and cry and thrash around and she her more $$$$$.

Y'know, her bots seem convinced she'll announce on the 15th because of the release of that dreadful piece of propaganda "Triumph of the Shrill". Perhaps none of them noticed what else is being released that day into theaters? Just a little indie flick called "Harry Potter".

I am rather looking forward to the exploding heads after she doesn't announce.

What´s the matter, sarah? Your and Bristol´s arses still sore from that public spanking you got at the MOA? Are you ¨fighting like a girl¨ with these empty whines?

And your list is woefully lacking. You need to add the millions of Republicans and Moderates who are laughing their arses off at your latest whine for attention.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Pay attention to me! WHaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Look at me! Whaaaaaaaaaaaa! You better be scared! WHaaaaaaaaaaa! You´ll be sorry! Whaaaaaaaaaaa! I´ll show you! Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Umm, does the 'Recovering Liberal' realize that there is a difference between announcing a run and actually putting in the work to successfully mount and maintain a campaign?

Palin's previous inclinations indicate future performance -- even if she does run, she won't continue the campaign.

Gee, I think they left a ton of people off the list.

After all, so few people take her seriously. Does she really think she can catch-up to Michelle Bachmann or out-shine Rick Perry in the eyes of the crazied far-right?

    What a laugh.

"...half-ass temporary campaign to reinvigorate her base, before unceremoniously quitting over some completely fabricated family crisis"

    Nailed her.

Won't cost anything for her to announce. She will be using her unconventional campaigning excuse as a reason she does not put forth true effort, intent or product.

BOTS will line her pockets, it'll be nothing but another money grab. No serious will or organization.

With no real support (having burned her GOP bridges in 2009) it would be madness for her to run in 2011.

Of course she IS mad. I expect her to "tease" as long as she can, and declare at the last minute.

As soon as she is asked for medical or financial records, she will scream about invasion of privacy and quit.

It will be an enormous waste of everyone's time, but no matter how many P-bots souls she crushes, she will have her few minutes in the sun, and be able to add "former presidential candidate" to her speaking fees.

These people are so gullible. You know why they're all excited right now? Because some group called Organize4Palin got a little press by another gullible journalist who clearly didn't check out this sham group's website. Which is under construction. With no contact names for state coordinators. And whose sole purpose appears to be to promote her upcoming flop of a movie.

I predict that years from now psychologists will study Palinbots as a curious group of people who allowed themselves to get taken in by one of the most transparent frauds in history: the notion that Palin could win the presidency and that she was actually serious about trying to. Man, is it a notion that has made her supporters a lot poorer.

    ReplyDelete
  17. If you read the comments at c4p, they added many more names to Nxon's, I mean Palin's ENEMY LIST.

Who is NOT on it? VERY FEW. Seems Rush and Judge Jeanie have escaped the list. I love how some of the cult members see sarah as a "uniter, not a divider," right after they post her enemies list.

What is good is bad, what is bad is good...our world is upside down. Palin calls us the haters...the people calling her out on her hate and lies and we are the bad ones and Sarah who lies, tricks and plays the Media and the people...she is the good one. She has made her money by calling a kind, loving, smart man names and has made hate for blacks cool again.

What this moron doesn't realize is that Sarah had some very influential GOP backers at one time. People who could have raised a lot of money for her are in that list. Don't they wonder why she alienates one person after another. And don't they look at the reality of one national poll after another?

The Palinbots are the oddest, most dysfunctional and delusional group of people I have ever seen. Their posts would be hysterical except they are real people with voting rights! Scary!

So what is the deal with RAM?? Has anyone heard if she was really with the Palins in Iowa?? Or did she show up to plead for forgiveness and her job?

Don't they get that is a win, win situation for all of these bloggers, pundits, analysts and reporters if the Shrilla from Wasilla runs? Palin has been the media's bread and butter these past two years. She gold, baby!

She's also ignorant, angry, smug, racist, clueless, narcissistic, and will do anything to keep people talking about her. Also--she'll destroy the GOP so I kinda want her to run 'cause they enabled her in the first place.

It will be like a drunk monkey with a tazer and a sword riding around on a donkey on meth if Palin throws her hat in the ring.

10:59 Strongly disagree w/you - I watched the entire trial. Nancy Grace has covered this situation for the past three years and all her crap fostered the way some are feeling today.

The prosecution didn't prove a thing and that is why the jury had to vote 'not guilty'. Her attorneys did a great job in countering what the prosecution showed and what they didn't do in the case.

I'd suggest tuning out the Nancy Grace Show....she obviously was wrong, wrong, wrong in this matter.

Unless she actually becomes VP in which case she'll be like Nelson Rockefeller was when Gerald Ford was President -- playing golf.

If I understand this guy correctly, he's saying that if a journalist opined that Sarah will not run, and she then campaigns for the nomination (leaving aside for the moment the definition of "campaigning" and whether it has to involve something more than saying "I'm in.") that those journalists' careers are will be ended? Really? Isn't the purpose of a columnist, comedian, political commentator, etc to opine - and sometimes they don't accurately predict things. But if they are incorrect about SP, then it's career death? Sheesh.

The blog you are referring to; "Recovered Liberal" or something is actually providing all of us with a much needed catharsis. They are actually allowing debate! Imagine that. Maybe this marks the beginning of the end for poor dear $arah. Withering like a vampire on a day pass. I once had an encounter with someone who was delusional. She had convinced herself that my boss was in love with her and that they were married but communicated only in dreams. After a few weeks of my boss avoiding her, she got angry and wanted a divorce! He asked me to tell her that she was flat out insane, that they were not married and a divorce would be unnecessary. But seek help anyway. The point is, I will never forhet the look on this gal's face. One of shock, confusion, bewilderment and incredulity. This will be look of bot's all over the fruited plain when they run into the wall of reality as they travel forth at the speed of light. They will have nothing on the Large Haldron Collider.

PRIOR: Casey Anthony was proven NOT Guilty by her Jury today on ALL murder charges!

RESPONSE: To say someone is proven NOT GUILTY is like saying it's proven they're NOT PINK. It doesn't mean a whole lot - except in the courtroom where it means she doesn't lose her civil rights. It means that 12 people did't think she was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. It doesn't mean 12 people didn't believe she was guilty by clear and convincing evidence, or beyond a preponderance of the evidence. And it most especially does not mean she is innocent.

PRIOR: PRIOR:Remember - we are not 'guilty' until proven so in a Court of Law in the United States of America. Nancy Grace is a farce and has done nothing more than spread hate toward Casey Anthony throughout the U.S.

RESPONSE: The only place we are "not guilty" until proven so is in court. I am allowed, as a product of free speech and free thought, to think, and say, that I think she or anyone else, is guilty. I don't need to let a jury make that decision for me. We judge people all the time. Just because Michael Jackson wasn't found guilty doesn't mean that I would suggest anyone let him spend the night in his bed with a child. Although it's never been an issue, I would never let my kid spend the night alone with a non-related man in their bed - regardless of whether there had ever been a court case. Having charges brought again MJ doens't make him a better candidate for a sleepover.
And I wouldn't suggest letting Ms. Anthony babysit for other's children.
And I don't need to rely on a court finding to make those judgements and decisions.

P.S. Despite my disagreement @1:59, I totally agree that taking Nancy Grace off the air would provide cleaner air. I'm in full support of such a move.

  72. I never thought Sarah would run, but will say this:

She may announce her candidacy only to put it on her resume which just might increase her speaking fees.

If she does announce, it'll be a quick mean-girl/victim run. She won't wait to be rejected, she'll trump up something that will make her quit, er, I mean step down.

Personally, I don't think Todd or even Sarah, but especially Todd could ever be vetted for top security clearance. Would you trust them? Me, neither.

Regarding the photos on Laura Novak's blog: It's not clear to me why she is scratching her head. It looks like pictures of a couple of cute kids. I think I'm missing something

(as someone pointed out, they are the same size, which I totally missed. I think one is supposed to be 2 and the other 3. I assume it's unlikely, but possible. Are Levi & Todd about the same height? (google reports SP & BP to be the same height) I wonder if there are other characteristics which would indicate they are or aren't the age they are reported to be (that's easier with newborns. Not sure when you can't tell so much from facial features).

Wow--that's a long list of people targeted for spiteful revenge, even for the histrionic Quitter.

(Gee, I wonder if she'll follow her past routine and send errand boy Todd around to stalk them all first?)

Even Bill Kristol isn't that stupid, after what the severely mentally limited Sarah did to the campaign in 2008.

Well according to the demented mind of a Palinbot, they also attribute Katie Couric's exit from CBS news to Sarah Palin as well. In their reality Couric was fired because her news cast had low ratings. Her liberal agenda was exposed after the hatchet job she did on Sarah Palin! So she got fired because of that interview was responsible for bad ratings.

They completely ignore the fact that Couric had a 5 year contract with CBS. Her interview with Palin was 3 years ago and her show has received numerous honors for excellence in broadcast journalism during her tenure. CBS hired Couric with expectations of higher ratings, but those rating remained stagnant over the course of her contract. As her 5 year contract was coming to an end, there were reports about negotiation talks but ultimately Couric finished out her contract and signed a multi million dollar deal with ABC instead. She will launch her own syndicated talk show next year.

But somehow Sarah Palin got the last laugh on Couric! Errr...ok crazy much?? Freaking Palinbots are so stupid!

Considering the number of high ranking Republican movers and shakers who are nixing her, I'd say she has some major a&%% kissing to do to get their political machine behind her.

She like to dis the R's almost as much as the D's but who ever makes it to the WH has to have a huge political machine to do it. And only the Republican old boys have control of that.

The Koch bros can buy a lot but they can't buy the WH unless the Republican party establishment allows it to happen. And there are a lot of major egos and major multimillionaires that would have to be persuaded.

  81. You know she wouldn't last a week. The problem being that for that week, she'd lose her Fox gig. I doubt she's stupid enough to give that up, as there is a likelihood once she quits they won't rehire her after she quits her pretend campaign.

So I'm in the not running camp.

But I'll bet she's just itching to make all those pundits liars if only for a week.

here's what one of your worshippers said today on C4P site:

    Quote:

if that is her true personality, a money-hungry attention seeker, then she sure had me fooled!! i thought she was genuine, honest, a fighter, ready to do something good in this country, and here she has a great opportunity to do something big, why would she let that go? with tons of people ready to fight with her? if she said no, it would surprise me, and yes, i would be angry. you may not be but i'm just saying, me and many others would be angry.
    ------
    end quote

    So, Mrs Shots_and_Bells BigBoss, Quitter?

Hah- but the reason you were left off is that the inside the beltway people are wrong most of the time, and you are not. One must be shameless and unconcerned about being wrong to be a pundit.

Off topic interesting Bachmann story at Mother Jones: Michele Bachmann's Redistricting Whopper

    http://motherjones.com/mojo/2011/07/michele-bachmann-redistricting-whopper-minnesota

The most interesting revelation is that just like Sarah- the reports of Bachmann's popularity in her own district are significantly exaggerated. And Michele has been covering this up with some bogus explanations (blaming the liberals who have been out to get her).

There is some truth to the notion that the new district was less than friendly to Bachmann, but it's probably not something she'd want to brag about. In 2002, she underperformed the rest of the GOP slate in the district (including then-gubernatorial candidate Tim Pawlenty) by about 10 points.

That means that other GOP candidates on the ballot in her district got many more votes than she did. That is a significant underperformance. But by blaming it on a Democratic redistricting- apparently a lie- Bachmann has avoided the topic of her 10 point underperformance

    Again from the MJ article:

Bachmann's spin on her 2002 state senate race is puzzling because it's such a trivial part of her political narrative. Serial whoppers like this—much more so than her John Wayne Gacy gaffe—only reinforce the notion that Bachmann has a serious tendency to fudge the facts.

Does any of this sound very familiar? The MJ analysis is wrong about this being a trivial thing. Some politicians are very interested in their own popularity. A politician interested in higher office has incentives to cover up facts which indicate that they may be unpopular with some of those voters in their own party who know them best. Specifically, the Republicans who did not vote for Bachmann while voting for other Republican candidates.

Again does any of this sound familiar? Is Michele Bachmann copying Sarah Palin like some accuse her of doing?

C4P has blind faith and trust in Palin. The other day an article called for trust that Palin will run.

In the present I am left wondering what Palin has said or done warranting unwavering conviction she shall be the next president. There is the movie by Bannon but the family vacation/ political bus tour derailed and book tour to promote Bristol as chaste and Levi a horny scoundrel.

Only Sarah and Todd know what their game is. For now Sarah is backfiring and missing windows of opportunity including gaining credibility. She is still on contract to Fox also.

The only known is the majority of the country finds her unelectable and still unqualified. Alas, no POTUS has been elected by virtue of Mark Ballas seeing their house or treating the Gosselins to a chilly camping trip.
In Palin land she is Reagan personified not a contrived reality tv star.
