Saw this last night. She and her staff do their homework.
Murdoch is a real creepy and scary person. His desire for control - and money - seems to know no bounds.
Rachel also did a real good interview with Elizabeth Hill.

Really, successful eh? They are pushing back the release in Plain;s parents part time residency town because they cannot get tickets sold.

Awareness, Good God the film has had unlimited media exposure for free. They must have meant bribery not awareness.

“We have a bunch of markets we want to go to,” said Trevor Drinkwater, chief executive officer of ARC Entertainment, which is distributing the movie. “We definitely want to go there. We're making sure when we go there, we have enough awareness there to make it successful.”

It occurs to me that the predicted "Big Brother" has turned out not to be the government, but rather mega-corporations.

mikeb302000 - I know what you mean about her ability to make complicated stories easier to understand. I remember when she tackled the "C Street gang" it was a story that most people did not know about and it was hard to grasp it all.

Was thrilled to see Rachel bring some traction to the Floorgraphics hacking/payoff story.

Hopefully now, Rachel's show is investigating and will bring to on-air light the 'Brain Room' story!!!

  10. Excellent video. I think the analogy of Newscorp as a free-floating nation state is probably right on target.

Palin hates hackers. I am certain she is tweeting and facebooking about how bad News Corp is!! NOT

They will send a teenager to jail for guessing her password, but criminal activities are nothing.

Through all these I've wondered about David Kernell who is serving jail time for "hacking" Palin's e-mail.

Let's hope he gets to tell his side of the story to someone prominent in the media, e.g., Rachel, Lawrence, Jon--to name a few.

    Anon@7:06,

Great point! Sarah pitched a fit when her e-mail was hacked, claiming that people were out to destroy her political career.

That being the case, she should really be upset that a family whose daughter was missing had their phone hacked.

But after all we are dealing with a hypocrite. It's a major issue when it happens to her but if it happens to someone else, even when her employer's parent company is the one doing the hacking, its no big deal.

Take that one step further. Who is controlling the Corporations? Who are the men and women who make up the boards of directors of the largest corporations? Who controls them?
Thee simple answer is; the same rich families that have run this country since the golden age of the robber barons in the late
1800's throught the 1920's. It's in the history books and the Who's Who of corporate america.

Rachel is a gem! I love how she takes a simple example and extends it to make a valid point on a serious issue.

I wish she'd consider going into politics at some point in her career.

I'm watching the parliament grilling of Murdoch, it's quite revealing to see how much they're squirming while trying to obscure the obvious while answering questions.

Rupert Murdoch just got hit in the face with a custard PIE. Right on!

It's the only sweet thing about that vicious old crusty lying sack of owl turds

If the whole truth about his lies, sedition, bribery, blackmail, and other crimes ever came out, he'd end his days in a gas chamber
