To Sean Hannity's embarrassment Iowans tell what they REALLY think of Sarah Palin jumping into the race.
The most telling part is AFTER Hannity gets schooled about Palin's true appeal and Frank Luntz steps in to demonstrate how Fate how Fox News manipulates reality to support the myth of Palin' popularity.
Sarah Palin and family has been laughed at and ridiculed without even throwing her water bra into the POTUS ring. Just imagine what would happen if she did?
There are books and movies coming out against Sarah and America can't wait.
And if anyone wants another good laugh, C4P is currently freaking out at the fact that Palin has scheduled 2 paid speaking events, one with Beck and some woman thing on Oct 7 and 8th. There is a republican debate also scheduled for Oct 11th. No way can she do those events and be ready for the debate. They are having meltdowns, it is hilarious.
Aaaacccckkk! I try to avoid, at every opportunity, hearing the voices of Paylin, Hannity, Limbaugh, Coulter, Beck and Hannity et al. But I trust your word Gryphen when you post a 'must hear' video link. It was thankfully brief but as you said, very telling. Amway on steriods people.
Since the female candidates and pundits receive the most fashion advice I'd like to suggest that Frank Luntz avoid stripes and pastels, even during his carnival type appearances.
Those people are not stupid. They know that Sarah Palin is eye candy without a brain. They also know that she is just trying to have them raise money for her so that she can continue to delude herself into thinking that she is now part of the elite class. She could have all the money in the world, but to the real world, Sarah is still as dumb as a bucket of rocks.

She has very few followers and most of the talk about her has been created by the media. Without the reichwing media backing her, she would have faded back to Wasilla in 2008 never to be heard from again.
BTW I would, and I am sure others are, very interested to know if she is speaking at any bowling conventions this yr or is her speaking world salad career done.

It never occurred to Hannity that his audience might have been supporters of all the other Republican candidates and not Sarah. When Sarah had her Hannity interview, Hermain Cain was on next, so many were probably Cain supporters.

C 4pee thinks Sarah's still on tour. Yesterday, Alexandra Moe (the only journalist following Palin--see tweet exchange between benpolitico and AlexNBCNews) said it looked like the tour ended. Moe is back in Iowa and the bots paid for a vanity trip for Palin.
All the SIGNS lead to her not running and just getting some money at her fame expense. Unless this is part of her "unconventional" campaign of shocking the world when least expected, she is not giving any BIG SIGNS that she is leaning towards a presidential run. It is depressing to see her still in Fox News, still not giving clues of running and doing paid speeches in October. While ZERO chances like Perry, Romney, Cain, Santorum and Bachmann get all that media attention. She goes to Iowa but just like a party crasher, avoiding to talk about her presidential intentions and talking more like a party chearleader or an external commentator than a possible contender. I pray all this teasing ends soon because our Nation is at stake and she is the ONLY one than can deliver us...

Yikes. I just listened to the Gov's interview with CBN. Didn't sound too good for a presidential run and she has an event with Beck on October 7? Luntz is doing basic salesmanship. When I was very young I got a job selling stuff on the phone. Though I could only stand it for a week or so, I did learn a few things. The most important lesson was: Get a bunch of yeses before going into your sales pitch. It makes your audience accustomed to saying yes. Very simple. And it works on dumb people, like Republicans.
Sarah would like to thank you for paying for her second summer vacation! Since you guys are where the most of her donations come from. She says sorry for not telling anyone where she was going cause it would really be annoying for Piper to have you all there ruining their family vacation. She says learning about the presidents past was really inspiring cause when she was young she slept through those elementary school lessons. And again thanks for the gas money! She says she needs more donations though cause she's got a couple new friends who need a "consultant" fee, and she wants to use the bus to go hang out with her buddy Beck in October. I think 12:22 are all comments from those Master Denial Spinners at the See O'Pee. They will Not. Give. Up. their delusional little game of "will the Saviour run," eh? I think that what Hannity didn't comprehend is that at the Straw Poll, you don't just have Iowans off of the street, you typically have the room stacked with people who are supporting a candidate (generally one who has a ground operation in Iowa, or is at least a declared candidate) so naturally they are going to be pre-disposed to a particular candidate already, and not one who is blue-balling the party.
Luntz recognized this, but he really revealed what he does - polling to fit a narrative, not actual polling that gives an insight into what people are actually thinking.
I guess they must have broadcast that live other wise I can't believe Ailes would have allowed it to air.
It is summer 2011 and in the summer of 2008, about this time of the year, political experts of all leanings recommended that Sarah go home, show she could be a good governor, and study up on national and international issues.
She has done none of that and even Republicans have realized that the tabula rasa that Kristol whans to have political carnal knowledge with is still a tabula rasa, and that does not equate to being qualified for any high office elected or otherwise.

Let's look at this objectively. Will the Democrats go all out to crush Sarah? Not likely. Thank you for those who are taking the time to read and comprehend. I was the one who posted those snippets from CofP and you're absolutely correct, I despise Sarah Palin and her ilk and those quotes were from that site. Sorry if I didn't specify that more clearly, and still I appreciate those who stepped up and defended the post. People sure are riled up these days, I'll try to be more careful next time.

Sarah's finally painted herself into a corner, overexposed and yesterday's news, yet Fox needs lutz the toupee guy to spin a resounding no into how one asks the question. I've tried several inflections, and the answer is still the same.
Apparently, Palin threw a diva sized fit at the Iowa State Fair and it is not going over well. Because she created the whole thing in an obvious attempt to get publicity. She became infuriated when a website wrote a headline that reported that Palin would support Romney. Which she did say. She falsely assumed a certain conservative reporter had written the headline and gathered a Politico reporter around her cell phone so she could witness Palin screaming and berating him on the phone. He tried to explain that he had nothing to do with the headline. Palin wouldn't listen and hung up on him. Saying she didn't have time for him and had to get back to " the real people." I guarantee that Palin thought this showdown would get publicity. Her aide ( ?) eventually realized that the reporter was innocent and called him back to say the headline had been corrected. But, no apology was offered. The conservative blog American Spectator has the story " Palin Cheap-Shots a Good Reporter " http://spectator.org/blog They do a good job of throwing Palin under the bus.
The last line- "If Palin wants to get rid of the image of being a difficult diva with a rude streak, she needs to stop acting like a difficult diva with a rude streak." Remember this is from a conservative writer very disturbed by her sleazy conduct.

Luntz is doing basic salesmanship. When I was very young I got a job selling stuff on the phone. Though I could only stand it for a week or so, I did learn a few things. The most important lesson was: Get a bunch of yeses before going into your sales pitch. It makes your audience accustomed to saying yes. Very simple. And it works on dumb people, like Republicans.

Hi Guys,
Sarah would like to thank you for paying for her second summer vacation! Since you guys are where the most of her donations come from. She says sorry for not telling anyone where she was going cause it would really be annoying for Piper to have you all there ruining their family vacation. She says learning about the presidents past was really inspiring cause when she was young she slept through those elementary school lessons. And again thanks for the gas money! She says she needs more donations though cause she's got a couple new friends who need a "consultant" fee, and she wants to use the bus to go hang out with her buddy Beck in October. ReplyDeleteI think that what Hannity didn't comprehend is that at the Straw Poll, you don't just have Iowans off of the street, you typically have the room stacked with people who are supporting a candidate (generally one who has a ground operation in Iowa, or is at least a declared candidate) so naturally they are going to be pre-disposed to a particular candidate already, and not one who is blue-balling the party.

I was the one who posted those snippets from CofP and you're absolutely correct, I despise Sarah Palin and her ilk and those quotes were from that site.
