From Pew Research Center:
As the nation prepares for another round of deficit reduction debates, the public’s confidence in congressional leaders, particularly Republican leaders in Congress, has plummeted. Just 35% say they have a great deal or fair amount of confidence in Republican leaders in Congress to do the right thing when it comes to dealing with the federal budget deficit, down from 47% in May. Fully 62% say they have little or no confidence in the Republican leaders on this issue.
Public confidence in Barack Obama on the budget deficit, by comparison, has remained largely unchanged. The latest national survey by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press, conducted Sept. 22-25 among 1,000 adults finds that 52% express at least a fair amount of confidence in Obama to do the right thing when it comes to dealing with the deficit, virtually unchanged from 55% earlier in the year.
Another Republican talking point bites the dust.

Warrior. That's what he is. Always rising above and showing us all HOW to lead. Calm, cool, collected and always above the screeching fray. This is what presidential looks like.
ReplyDeleteOT - but just saw a clip from Greta's interview with Sarah last night.
ReplyDeleteSarah is up to her old tricks of inventing stupid words - what the heck does she mean that a campaign might be "too schackely" (other than that she would be expected to participate in debates, be interviewed by top journalists, explain her views on a wide spectrum of issues, and actually think on her feet without reliance on tired sound-bite phrases?"
Man, that woman never fails to get on my nerves with her willful ignorance and tremendous show of arrogance.
Hilarious interview of Palin on GVS. In one sentence she says the media doesn't do their homework and then calls Cain by the wrong name. New word of the week: shackle-ey.
ReplyDeleteWhat percentage would trust Sarah to deal with deficit?
ReplyDeleteIs a negative percentage possible?
Well that's a no brainer!
ReplyDeleteFrom a tweet:
ReplyDeleteP0TUS "Screech @SarahPalinUSA, every1 w a brain knew U weren't going to run. Only question is: Will U refund all the $ that you grifted from dopes? about 2 hours ago"
Did I miss something? I was sleeping.

This is so good. The President is acting more and more Presidential with every outing. He is showing leadership while the GOP whines that "we need a leader." Yes, the GOP DOES need a leader...someone who thinks rationally and without a Tea Party gun held to their head. Still waiting for that. And Sarah has become a joke. How can she appear on TV and not even mention her fake lawsuit against the mean old Joe? It makes her look even more guilty, which, of course, she is, but her 'bots want to hear her proclaim her victimhood! She has let everyone down, poor dear. I think expectations for Ms. Wasilla were a bit high, huh . 'bots?
ReplyDeleteAnd how much more mileage can she get out of "Obama was not vetted!!!" Horrors. He still has three more years of true executive experience than anyone on the right. And they can't stand it!
Sarah Palin is the most hated person in America. Second only to Casey Anthony. She is a mentally ill deranged lunatic. Her own family can't stand her and is embarrassed by her. Bristol hates her mother. Willow hates her mother and Piper hates her mother. She is not good enough for her own family what makes her think she's good enough for America? Especially after the ass-whooping she got in 2008. You'd think she would take a hint.
ReplyDeleteGod Hates You Sarah Palin!
ReplyDeleteSullivan is funny today
ReplyDelete"In her latest "interview" with her public relations aide, Greta Van Susteren, Palin accuses the media of not vetting the 2008 candidates properly and of turning politics into a reality show. I kid you not."
Greta is her "public relation" aide... LMFAO
Some of you are way over the top. God hates you?
ReplyDeleteI'm not Christian or religious but from what I've read "God" does not hate. Can't we have legit criticisms of Sarah? There are plenty with liar and manipulator and thief.
But do we have to sound like c for p nuts?
I hope Gryphen does a post about Sarahs appearance on Greta since I won't watch that channel.
Funny, because no one I talk to can adequately defend Obama. All they stick to are generic talking points and throw in racism.
ReplyDeleteKind of like the blogs.
Palin's new word 'shackle-ey'.
ReplyDeleteIs she trying to tell us what she and her one-nighters did? Shackle-ey?? Handcuffs? Maybe some whips? LOL.
Todd must be really pissed - he had to go out and pay for those activities!!!

I think the god hates you thing is a play on sarah changing her screen saver when she became governor to "God loves you Sarah Palin!". Yes she really did this, it's in Joe's book. That kind of delusion deserves mocking.
ReplyDeleteSo glad people are finally realizing that the repulsicans don't give a flying fuck about America. Assholes.

ReplyDeletePalin used and abused 'God' and used and abused the word 'God'.
Yes he can hate Palin.
You have your opinion. Others have theirs -- so be it.
I asked President Obama why the Republican Party and legislators were so hard on him and with a smile he gave me a slip of paper to read and this is what it said.
ReplyDelete“Though the colored man is no longer subject to barter and sale, he is surrounded by an adverse settlement which fetters all his movements. In his downward course he meets with no resistance, but his course upward is resented and resisted at every step of his progress. If he comes in ignorance, rags and wretchedness he conforms to the popular belief of his character, and in that character he is welcome; but if he shall come as a gentleman, a scholar and a statesman, he is hailed as a contradiction to the national faith concerning his race, and his coming is resented as impudence. In one case he may provoke contempt and derision, but in the other he is an affront to pride and provokes malice.”

This didn't post the first time. Gryphen, please don't double post it if you have it already!
ReplyDeleteI've been tracking her number of followers on Facebook. Up til today, they have been on the rise. Now, they are dropping.
Her followers are noticing it too. They blame it on Facebook! HA! Here is a copy/post of a recent comment:
"Watching the games FB is playing with the numbers. Well were not fooled we know what they are up to."
