Open for discussion. What do we make of this? Update.

I am still very troubled by these two pictures, the one on the left supposedly taken in the hospital on April 18, 2008, and the other taken in the Palin home on May 3, 2008.

The pictures are only supposed to have be taken fifteen days apart, and yet the change in Levi's hair and skin tone is striking. Don't you agree?

I decided to bring this back up after I found that picture of Levi, shown on the left, in his book.

Just to give you an idea of how puzzling that was, the photo in the book is NOT the one that I posted here before, but instead another that I did not even realize existed until it showed up in the photo insert of "Deer in the Headlights."

Here is mine for comparison:

The differences are subtle, but if you look at the "A" on his shirt and his position on the couch you can pick up on them. (Not so subtle is the white backing stuck to my photo as a result of it being stored with other pictures in a box in the back of Sherry's closet. As you can see Levi's does not share that same blemish.)

I am a little confused as to why Levi put that picture into his book at all. It almost feels as if it was in direct response to MY having used the above picture on this blog, and his desire to make sure we all realized that the picture DEFINITELY came from that day in April of 2008.

In fact below the picture it even says the following: That is just-born Trig Palin, I'm on the sofa in Sarah's hospital suite-delivery room. She was snoozing in the bed next to me, exhausted.


Get it folks? Sarah gave birth to Trig. I was right there in the room. Now let's move on!

Of course as all of us have noted before, the idea of Levi being comfortable enough to sit in Palin's delivery room, and her comfort with having him there, actually raises more questions then it answers.

And by the way there are OTHERS who are also having a very difficult time making sense of this picture.  People who you might think would simply assume that Levi was being honest.

So what do you think? Is Levi being honest?  Or is this simple picture really worth those famous "thousand words?"

P.S. I must also note that the date on the back of my pictures show a date of 5/13/2008, which of course is consistent with them having been developed less than a month after Trig was "born." As we know digital pictures can be developed anytime, but it is fair to notice that the date on these supports the official timeline.

Update: Here are the two photos I have.

 As you can see they are indeed hard copies, NOT digital images. The date is stamped on the back as is the brand name "Fuji Film" which I guess might also indicate that these were taken with film and not a digital camera as I assumed earlier. Though of course you can also get hard copies of your digital images, so this might not tell us anything about the camera.

If any camera buffs out there know different please enlighten us.

As to where Levi got his picture I am still not sure, as Sherry and Sadie did not say he got it from them.
