This is Bachmann's new campaign ad where she essentially kneecaps every other GOP Presidential hopeful, sparing only Jon Huntsman and Rick "Google me" Santorum.
And that my friends is how one leaves a trail of destruction in their wake.
Well what can you expect from a woman who has imaginary women telling her that the HPV vaccine makes children retarded and has visions of 7 foot tall medical professionals deriding ObamaCare to her? Hell if the Teabaggers really are trying to find the craziest candidate to put up against Obama, I think they have just found their gal.
Just imagine how much money President Obama will save on campaign commercials with all of these gems to choose from?
The only thing missing is her smack down on Sara's fake baby. Maybe if she does try to get in MB already has a few zingers to lay on her too
ReplyDeleteWith friends like MB who needs the DFL to take a shot?
Can we say delusional:
ReplyDeleteWell at least I haven’t gaffed, says Michele Bachmann, the woman who confused the birthplace of John Wayne and John Wayne Gacy, the state where the first shot of the Revolution was fired with New Hampshire, Elvis’ birthday with the day he died and vaccines with the cause of mental retardation — all in the past year.
That doesn’t even include the time she joked that God was sending a message about spending via deadly hurricane.
It’s not like she hasn’t put her foot in her mouth on stage, like Rick Perry — it was standing on stage right after a debate that Bachmann whipped out the vaccine = retardation thing.
And, of course, there are many, many more.
Nevertheless, Bachmann told Greta Van Susteren Thursday that she’s keeping away from the gaffes that are upending opponents for the Republican presidential nomination like Rick Perry and Herman Cain.
“I haven’t had a gaffe or something that I’ve done that has caused me to fall in the polls,” Bachmann said, adding, “And when it comes to the best Republican who take on Barack Obama and not have any clunker in my record to be able to take him on, it’s me.”
Amazingly, Bachmann is actually making this line of reasoning a campaign strategy. This week, her campaign released this web ad cataloging many of the top gaffes of her fellow candidates and selling Bachmann as the reliable one when it comes to conservative talk:

Fabulous, thanks Michelle :)
ReplyDeleteMichele Bachmann is on the front page of Huffington with the text of "I haven't had a gaffe". Please. Every time she steps up to a microphone some idiot statement comes out of her mouth.
ReplyDeleteBoth Palin and Bachmann are champs at self-delusion. Can they not listen to themselves?? It's as if they are unaware that video and audio recordings can be played back later, and fact-checked.
The latest delusional outburst was during a debate - "I've worked in the private sector my whole life!" How is that kind of thinking even sane? It was as though she suddenly claimed to be ballerina.
I have almost nothing positive to say about Michelle Bachmann but she may have been right about the vaccine. She's in good company with some experts who have serious concerns about it. A small population of 1200 girls under the age of 16 were only tested for 21 months under an expedited FDA approval process.
ReplyDeleteGryphen - You are a valued advocate for women. I hope you'll watch the documentary, 'Greater Good'. Please.

49:30 - “Since the vaccine has been licensed, there have been more than 18,000 serious adverse event reports made to VAERS. The government’s response has been to issue a report that says all of these reactions and adverse events and deaths are a coincidence.” 85 deaths were reported after Gardacil as of 2010.
No Huntsman?
ReplyDeletePaul is right: why would any country need Bachmann's permission to have nukular weapons?
We didn't ask for permission ourselves. Neither did
The Soviets
Brits
French
Chinese
Indians
Pakistanis
Israelis
North Koreans
Gryphen, the movie "Undefeated" is playing in Wasilla (at $50 per person). Please go (or at least, stand outside), so you can tell us how many attend and how often they "boo" when they hear lies!!!!!! Ohhh, maybe you could make it a party with the other local bloggers?

Fools do!
I guess Bachmann forgot about this doozie...
ReplyDeleteRep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) is taking her refusal to fully fill out her Census form, which is a crime punishable by a $5,000 fine, to a whole new level: Invoking the memory of the Japanese internment during World War II, and the evil role that the Census played in it!

Gryphen: Will you be attending the screening of Undefeated, on Sunday at the Colony Inn in Palmer.
ReplyDeleteIts only $50 for a single $75 for a double :-)
Fucking idiot.
ReplyDeleteNo gaffes, Mrs Bachmann? Everything she stands for is a huge fricking gaffe.
ReplyDeleteDear Michele, the only people who can take orders form God are black democrats (apparently)
ReplyDeleteI was thrilled today when I took a questionnaire and discovered that Michelle Bachmann and I agree on 0% of the answers. That means I am gloriously sane....Right?
ReplyDeleteI guess this is the "Old Testament" Bachmann..........

Unlace your boots, take off your fishnets, untuck, relax, and scour your face with Pond's cold creme, pour a stiff one, and watch RuPaul, Marcus. She wasn't referring to You as one of her gaffe's.
These clowns are making it too easy for President Obama's re-election.
ReplyDeleteI have to give Shelly some credit, though. She does, on occaision, admit when she says something stoopid, by saying something even more stoopider. I admire that quality in a losing candidate. She's got the audacity of Choootz Paaaah, and Jesus on her side.
I do not agree with much from the "other side" but Ron Paul is correct when he says Iran should not have to ask permission to build a nuke. If another country invaded the US neighbors and we did not have the weapon, we would scramble to build one. Iran has watched while the US and allies have devastated Iraq, Afghanistan and are eying Pakistan. What are they supposed to do, just wait for their turn to be invaded? If one of the nuts from the gop makes it into office, the entire world will be at risk, they all want wars no matter what the cost. Just as long as none of their relatives are in uniform. Bachmann made one BIG gaffe, marrying a gay man.
ReplyDeleteI guess nobody in her campaign knows how to spell dependents, either. Or use that commie-socialist spell check.
ReplyDeleteGryphen, are you so filled with hatred that you're unable to see an OBVIOUS act - however unsupported by facts and science - of selfless love by Ol' Crazy Eyes? Did you EVER stop to consider that she blames her OWN retardation on some long-ago vaccination that she received? And this baseless attack on Gardisil is just her way of supporting good mental health practices in America?
ReplyDeleteIf you'd take FIVE minutes out of your liberal, rage-filled day to consider just the possibility that a shrill harpy like Shelly can be a beautiful, albeit vaccination-retarded person on the inside.
Ok, she's a shrill harpy on the inside, also, too. But you can't say I didn't try....
No surprises.
ReplyDeleteHmm, rather than Marcus getting his own Smithsonian exhibit for his inaugural ball clothes, the Smithsonian will put his apparel into the same exhibit as the other President's wives.
Actually, it'd be a great idea. As it would save the Smithsonian money by not creating a special exhibit for Marcus.
