That aroma you smell in Iowa? Well that's the smell of Palin-bot desperation.

An independent group are running ads in Iowa asking voters to write in Palin's name. They will air on KCAU-TV in the Sioux City, Iowa market. Some will also air as a commercial during the Broncos-Chiefs game on WHBF-TV in the market for the eastern border of Iowa.

And NOBODY will give a shit about them.

You know perhaps somebody needs to sit down and explain how politics works to these people. Because clearly they do not get it.

Oh and while they are at it, perhaps they should take away all of their sharp objects as well.

Just to be safe.

It will be interesting to see how many write-in votes there are for Sarah Palin on January three. ;)

ROFL - I wonder how many bots will follow instructions to the letter and write-in ROGUE thinking it's some kind of code word for Sarah!

Oh, so maybe this is Sarah's "unconventional" approach to getting the GOP nomination without having to do any actual campaign work while also avoiding the scrutiny of the press. This way when it back fires and she only gets 1% of the write in vote, eliminating her chances in 2012, she can simply deny she had anything to do with this!!

That desperation is now seeping into the high ranks of the GOP...they are realizing than none of these candidates can hold a candle to the President. Not one. They will be resorting to even more dirty tricks in the months ahead, as the Kochs cannot be pleased at the enfolding scenario, not the blatant stupidity of the current cast. And I feel so sorry for them...no, I do not.

My son tells me not to feel sad about the Palins or anyone who's been fooled by them. I can't help myself.

Admitting all the dreadful, ignorant, hateful things the Palins have done and said, they have bamboozled a handful of politically naive and, perhaps, psychologically challenged, true believers to pour their time and money into the desperate fantasy of Sarah appearing anywhere on any ballot or ticket -- ever.

Palin doesn't stop them because she's flattered, stays in the news, and can still pull in money for her PAC -- she's got to pay her parents somehow, right? They can't get by on their public employee pensions, so need to put stamps on her mail, or tweets, or Subway sandwich frequent-buyer card.

Ads ain't cheap! Who is paying? Koch Brothers? Palin-Christie ticket.
While Palin possibly planned to off McCain, the Kochs likely plan to off Sarah if they can win.

(Well, if our neighborhood fairytale troll's compulsive comments here and bizarre (yet trite) string of purple prose and free association on her own blog are any indication, Palinbots absolutely cannot write.)

Yeah, there's been such huge indications from the voting public that Sarah should run - the huge lines at her "second" book signings (along with Bristol's) the resounding success of her informational and instructional family bus tour of the NE, the box office success of The Undefeated and whatnot.

Yeah, Sarah's a whiz and would make an awesome President. . .of the Sarah Palin Fan Club, otherwise known as SarahPAC. How's that desirin to progress conservative candidates and increase competition cause competition is good goin Sarah? When have you invested the hard earned dollars of others for candidates or issues other than for your own egotistical projects?

Got mom and dad mailing thank you cards out this Christmas? How much does that pay them?

Always amazed by the folks that can not see what a fraud Sarah is.

If I lie and say I eat moose every day, run marathons, fish and hunt, and fake having a baby; can I be President too?

Let these dummies spend all their money on hopeless causes...

They are like terrible-two toddlers who won't take no for an answer. They can't reason. They have absolutely no social etiquette and don't know how to leave a person alone when that person has said "no".

They don't care about anybody else except Sarah. They don't care about her reasons, even if she declared it was for family. Her family means nothing to them. They selfishly demand all of Sarah all the time and no one can reason with them. It's a psychological phenomenon only a psychiatrist could decipher.

But SP created this monster and no one can stop it yet. Like the "Terminator" - "it's what he does, it's all he does".

If Palin-bot desperation could be bottled up and put under a lab microscope, it might show squirmy wiggly microbes yelling "Sarah, Sarah, Sarah".

  12. They showed one of the ads last night on MSNBC. Scary, delusional stuff. I'm still in shock that Sarah is still on the most admired list. Her bots must have gamed the voting like they did for Bristol.

How can people look up to Sarah as a role model? A quitter. Dysfunctional family of high school drop-outs; cheating spouses; out-of-wedlock babies; ethics violations; possible felonies; etc.

Is this what Americans hope for their families?

Question Number 1: Why does the announcer sound
like a 95 year old? Must be the median age of a
    semi-delusional full blown alzheimer Palinbot.

Question Number 2: Why are the Palin brain dead followers so stupid? Is it because they have a hard time thinking with Sarah's hand in their pockets?

I read this comment on Syrin's blog. It is from someone in Alaska who, I believe, sums up Palin's mystique perfectly:

"A bogus narrative, a bullshit backstory, the only thing real about her was that she didn’t ‘blink’ at an extraordinary chance she didn’t deserve."

Perfect. See there are some really smart people in Alaska. Gryph included!

    ReplyDelete

taking away their sharp objects is definitely needed and giving out gift certificates for a bit of therapy might help a few - but I think most are so far gone and delusional no amount of therapy can help them restore sanity

  15. This is irrational behavior. Palin chose not to run therefore it is inappropriate to waste money on ads for a noncandidate. These die hards exhibit controlling behavior. Control freaks love a master con.

Why don't they start a fan club? They are delusional they can manipulate Palin into the oval office and voters to put her there. This smacks of manipulating votes for Bristol the end justifies the means while declaring they are devout christians! Lol

Palin commercial during the Broncos-Chiefs game?

    Oh Shit!

    1) I hope the Broncos play extra hard to overcome Sarah's bad Joo Joo.

    or

    2) I hope Sarah has dropped her endorsement of Tebow.

    Enough is enough Sarah!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I don't mind seeing the Palin supporters waste their money on ads and donations to SarahPac. It means less money for them to spend on more viable candidates. (Not that most of them have a second choice to Palin, it seems).

These people are fools and you know the old saying about "fools and their money..."

Next thing for Palin is to become a religious figure. THAT'S how she'll next milk the faithful.

One of the comments at Sea of Pee was bragging about the 8 people she was certain she had talked into voting for Scarah.

If each of the 12 or so regulars who provide the bulk of the comments get 8 people to waste their vote, the may actually break 100 votes.

Yep, the smell of P-bot desperation and stupidity.

But not a peep from their fearless leader telling her supporters not to waste their time, money, and effort on her, but to support a candidate in the GOP that is actually running.

That would be the mature and responsible thing to do at this point.

Phoebes in Santa Fe - I believe you're exactly right on that one. I've been surprised that she hasn't been playing more of that already. Well, surprised until I read her Christmas message and found out she doesn't understand Christianity either.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Anonymous7:28 AM

I agree with phoebes in sante fe, let Sarah's fans waste their money on ads. That way, they will have less money to donate to other candidates. When the Republicans do settle on a candidate, hopefully they will start a new campaign to have Sarah run as a third party candidate. Let her be the spoiler.

Sarah never has been about doing the hard work required for the positions that she has enjoyed. Running a small town of a couple of thousand people is on the same level as our high school principal who oversees 6,000 students, teachers and other folks.

I saw a clip of Sarah's "debate" when she was running for governor. She read from index cards and made fun of the smart candidate in the room. Her staff did the work for the short time that she was governor.

If anyone was escaped vetting, it has been Sarah, who was plucked from obscurity to run as McCain's VP. She could barely follow what the campaign professionals told her to do. She couldn't prepare for her debate (you betcha), and she wanted to go rogue, then.

In the end, Sarah quit to make easy money. After a year of giving the same $100,000. speech, she still read it from the paper, and read it badly at that.

Sarah has no staff, no organization, and she hasn't learned anything in the past three years. With Todd as her chief adviser (and scheduler) she is still in the amateur leagues. Yes, she attracts lots of attention when she shows up in a painted bus and spouts the wrong history lesson. The voters did not vote for her in 2008, and she has done nothing to improve herself since then-- except to enrich her bank account. Sarah will always be the heckler from the sidelines, and never the leader. For Sarah, a reality show on TV or a book signing is her road to celebrity. Let them waste their money. Maybe they will stay home on election day.

Sarah has not yet endorsed any candidate, playing coy, once again.

I fear that in her twisted psyche, she really thinks there is still a chance to get into the race - not to win - but to be in the limelight. She can't help herself and no one intervenes, so who knows?

God may speak to her; fans may convince her; Todd may convince her. I hope she does run.

If she does, she WILL be vetted this time. If that's what it takes to put an end to this travesty, then let the wild ride begin!

She would be up against the GOP establishment, and I think if anybody knows the deep dark secrets in the Paylin family, they do - in detail.

Karl Rove is a formidible enemy.

  31. Anonymous11:47 AM

There is something I am trying to articulate and I wonder what other commenters have to say.

Sarah never seems to enter any arena, race, competition, election straight forward. She always has an angle. Something she brings to the competition that is totally irrelevant, but makes her unique.

E.G., She enters a beauty contest and wears glasses. She's not the prettiest or most talented on the stage, but she might appear more "intellectual."

She enters politics, but runs on being a Hocky Mom. Her word salads show she has no
understanding of political history or current events. Well, she's a Mom afterall, and family comes first.

She became a pundant (sic) not because she had anything intelligent to add to the discussions but because she was "hot and got ratings."

When she became a Mom, it wasn't enough glamour (remember Ivana Trump?) so she turned to political popularity contests.

When governing Alaska became too difficult and her misdealings were beginning to catch up with her, she quit and embarced on a run at celebrity.

She does not have the "right stuff" be a "good" anything- chose a title: Beauty Queen, Mom, small town politician, Half-term governor, VP candidate, celebrity star. So she always has an angle.... Is she somehow psychologically hedging her bets?

Then the circus moves onto New Hampshire, South Carolina, etc.

This whole thing reeks of Sarah Palin. My guess is that this could be her backdoor approach of "testing the waters" again. The disclaimer at the end saying that Sarah or her pack has nothing to do with it makes me think all the more that she is involved.

T.V. advertising time not cheap and costs more than what a small group of fanatical supporters can raise.

Somebody with some $$ is behind this.

I do have a strong stomach so after perusing a few sites and comments I saw what the Palin appeal is to these despicable lot, she mirrors their own beliefs and base instincts: dominionist bigoted homophobic intolerant narrow minded willfully ignorant old fools who gladly support financially and politically a greedy cruel millionare, they admire and revere an evil woman who callously ignores their desperation their pleas to see her run for President, they believe she can make their dreams of a backwards hateful racist "Christian"
USA come true, they lust after her because she bashes our POTUS with such venom and hate, one example, when she called him a phony they went into paroxysms of glee and much congratulating to their semi-"guv" then promptly sent her more money to reward her vicious screech. Sigh, I could go on and on I truly despise those people and my nature is so contrary to hate and intolerance that sometimes I am ashamed of my contempt for them. But then I recall this comment: RightMom in reply to Archangel 76--Governor Palin IS running she has since 2008 just an unconventional campaign I can't wait to see her debate the illegal marxist she will wipe the floor with him he is no match to her brilliant mind courage, kindness and integrity she will win in a landslide, she will have to disinfect the WH to get the baboon stink out and get and exterminator for the roach and rat infestations" --I'm quoting verbatim. The support Palin sites are littered with such idiocy.
