Perhaps some of the funniest television you will EVER see.

This is from a recent episode of the British satirical comedy 10 O'Clock Live. (Just imagine the Daily Show if everybody sounded like John Oliver.)

It is absolutely hysterical, so I thought I would share it with all of you just for a change of pace.

Be warned, there is very little censorship, and so you may hear some very colorful language. Though in my opinion filthy language always sounds so much more acceptable with an English accent.

Enjoy.

  1. Thanks for bringing this great show to our attention! Absolutely hilarious!

By the by, I find it quite remarkable how civil their discourse was during the gay marriage segment. Boy George was very eloquent, the host was challenging in a way that makes me pine for the days of real journalism, and even the obviously self-loathing gay Catholic maintained his composure despite struggling to justify his position and receiving a so much push-back from the others.

I'm so glad we have the Daily Show on this side of the pond, though I really wish we could find this kind of journalistic integrity outside of comedy shows and public broadcasting.

Yesterday Sarah and Todd were kickin' back in Vegas at the NASCAR race.

So how was your miserable day ?

Who and who? No one cares about those people anymore. Didn't you see "Game Change"?? We won't be hearing from those horrible cretins any more. Game Change is the the coup de grace for Sarah. The Palins Are Over. The next time you hear about a Palin it will be either "Todd Palin indicted on conspiracy, bribery, prostitution and corruption charges" or "Sarah Palin reveals Trig pregnancy hoax". Welcome to Post-Palin America, it's a wonderful place!

Sarah & Toad may have been laughing on the outside, Troll, but they sure as heck were crying on the inside. Knowing that all their dirty secrets & insane behavior has been exposed for the world to see must be killing them.

They can try to carry on as if nothing has happened but we're not buying it.

I had a lovely day yesterday.

If you had a miserable one, I am sorry to hear that. Have you tried living vicariously through Sarah and Todd? My understanding is that that numbs the mind so thoroughly you will no longer feel the pain.

you really haven't told us very much about it.

For the benefit of people wondering whether to make the effort to copy/paste the unclickable link on the strength of a recommendation from "Anonymous" it's (IMHO) a moderately-cute birth announcement that shows the progress of the pregnancy.
      Clickable link.

The "Preview" only flashed on the screen for a fraction of a second, so I wasn't able to check it. Sorry for any typos.

Gryphen, can you reproduce this behaviour? Can you arrange to have previews stay on the screen until the contributor clicks on Publish or whatever?

I love English humor and also that no-one takes wild offense at their jokes. They love to see the humorous side of politicians, institutions and stupid moralistic viewpoints.

They surely understand the GOP primaries - and the contestants.

Boy George came over as amazingly happy in himself - something I have never thought before.

    Thanks Gryph

  17. LOVE this! It's like a comedic prime-time version of "The View". I think it would do great here in the U.S.!
