Hannity and "Lego haired" Palin make a comment or two about the failed North Korean missile kerfuffle as an opportunity to attack President Obama on his foreign policy choices, but it only takes moments for them to get to the decaying fly ridden meat of the day, the Hillary Rosen statements.
Hannity, gleefully tees it up by bringing up the President's call to Sandra Fluke, the Bill Maher donation, and then asks if Palin (or Bristol) ever got a call from the President? (The label placed on this segment is "Obama's War on Women" by the way. So you just KNOW it is going to be a completely rational discussion.)
Here is Palin's response:
"Uhh never received a phone call, but I think that's again more of the inconsistencies, double standards, the D-I-V-I-S-I-V-E-N-E-S-S that IS kind of represented by President Obama and the people he surrounds himself with. Look at the class warfare that's being called. Look at what's going on today with Hillary Rosen. She, who has the ear of the President, who is advising the Democrat party, and is making such disrespectful comments about a woman who has made a very honorable choice to stay home and do the toughest job, the most important job there is, and that's raising good kids."
Of course what Palin fails to understand is that it is just THAT ability to make a choice to be a stay at home mom, which signifies how out of touch Ann Romney is with the majority of women today. In other words she has no idea what it is like to juggle work and raising children, to find good child care, or to miss important milestones in your child's life because you were working to make money to feed and clothe them.
By the way, how is it that working mothers are not ALSO doing the "toughest, most important job there is?" They are doing that as well as working to support their family.
And let me just mention that Palin did not have to go into local government to support her family.
Todd made good money on the North Slope and they did not want for much. Palin joined the Wasilla Assembly out of boredom and then she became power hungry which inspired her to make a grab for control, grinding her past friends and supporters beneath her high heeled shoes.
And while this was going on, HER children were pawned off on family friends, and any family members that she could find, to take over her obligations as their mother. Apparently the "toughest, and most important job there is" was NOT one that Sarah Palin herself took very seriously. The evidence of which we can still see unfolding every day.
Hey let's here more from the halfwit hypocrite:
"Well the comments Hillary Rosen made today certainly have awakened many Mama Grizzlies across this nation. And I know that I got a lot of e-mails today, a lot of text messages from apolitical girlfriends, some who have chosen to stay home through the years. Some for financial reasons, others...finances weren't really a factor in their choice to stay home. And the message seems to be, why is it that some on the LEFT choose to divide, to incite with comments like that, instead of just respecting women's choices and what they want to do with the choices God has given them? And let them contribute, because we all have opportunity to contribute."
I'm sorry, "Mama Grizzlies?" Is EVERY woman now co-opted by Palin to be part of her group of Furries? I am used to Palin taking things WAY out of context, but what she has done with Rosen's comments borders on libel in my opinion. NOTHING Hillary Rosen said resembles this argument of Palin's in ANY way!
Palin also clearly does not understand WHY women work either. What kind of woman chooses to stay at home for financial reasons? Women have to WORK due to financial reasons, not get to stay at home.
MY mother worked two jobs while I was growing up, and I rarely got to see her during that time. She certainly did not choose to work herself into exhaustion, she HAD to work that hard to take care of the three children my father abandoned and left up to her to care for. That was the "choice" my mother received from Palin's "God."
Palin goes on to read a supportive text "from her sister."
"'Oh wait, didn't these people slam YOU, who are the same ones slamming Ann Romney because she stayed at home with her five kids. Didn't they slam you for NOT staying at home with your five kids?' My sister goes on to say, 'It's obviously not a Mom thing their slamming, it's a conservative thing.'"
If I am not mistaken the people who questioned Palin's choice to run as VP with five children at home were from the Left AND the Right. And much of that was due to the fact that she had a four month old baby to care for at the time. (Most people did not realize that the baby was the key to her political campaign.) And again THAT has NOTHING to do with this fake controversy. Nothing!
The orgy of disinformation and attacks on President Obama go on for many more minutes, but I personally I can't take it anymore, so if you want to play the rest of the interview and provide your own take in the comments section feel free. Personally I need an antacid.
I will say that Hannity again offers Palin a chance to admit that the campaign for the GOP presidential nominee is over and that Mitt is the candidate, but she STILL cannot bring herself to do it, and instead encourages both Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich to stay in.
The woman simply CANNOT accept that the Mormon is going to represent her party. And she is not the only one within the Evangelical movement to have that prejudice, not by any means.
It's funny to me that Palin has absolutely NO problem using a fake slight against Mitt Romney's wife to launch yet another attack against the President, but simply cannot bring herself to legitimize his candidacy. Interesting don't you think?
Chris Hayes: If Republicans Think Being A Mother Is Work, Why Isn’t There A Wage?
ReplyDeletehttp://www.mediaite.com/tv/chris-hayes-if-republicans-think-being-a-mother-is-work-why-isnt-there-a-wage/
For some families, one parent CAN work for a wage outside the home, BECAUSE the other parent does the childcare for the wage earner. It is reasonable in that case to say that BOTH parents are contributing equally to the wage earning and consequently consider themselves as each earning half of the wage.
DeleteThat is not the case with Ann Romney.
And in neither case, does that family situation qualify EITHER parent as an expert on women's issues.
Romney had better come up with a women's issues adviser pronto before this Rosen bluster settles, because the REAL problem is Mitt Romney has no clue about women's issues AND has made no attempt to educate himself.
When you consider that Romney trails in the polls among women voters, his pronouncing his wife as his adviser is blindingly pathetic and stupid.

Which party is responsible for the Family Medical Leave act? Or for pregnancy leave or any legislation that helps women who need to work, and Ann Romney, that is most women in America these days.
DeleteHey!! I DO get a "wage"! I get to sleep with the manly Mr. Biscuitbarrel, rrrruff!
DeleteNo, seriously, my eye-rolling muscles went into spasm after reading this whole mommy-wargasm, having been a stay-at-home/in-minivan mom for my children's entire childhood, more than two decades now.
I was very, very lucky to be able to make that "choice"--the word that Ann Rmoney so easily bandies about. Many of my friends could not. Their kids were at Casa Biscuitbarrel on snow days, holidays, even sick days, because I was there to welcome them.
Is anyone else reminded of John McCain's economic cluelessness by all this? He didn't even claim that Cindy was his touchstone on women's issues, or economic matters, probably because he married $$$ as well as the woman.
Bwhahahahaha. Nice find Gina! Any idiots out there still want to claim Sarah doesn't wear a wig? Yeah I thought so. WIG = PROVEN.

So very classy, those Republicans. It's terrible for Hilary Rosen to diminish Ann Romney for her great good fortune to be able to make the choice to stay home with her kids. But it's perfectly acceptable to diminish Hilary Rosen for being a lesbian, an adoptive parent and a working single mother.

Let's pursue the analogy: According to SP, the Mama Grizzlies are enraged, not because their cubs are threatened by a lifetime of corporate slavery, poverty wages, and a Texas-grade education; not because politicians legislate mandatory invasion of their vaginas, their maternal aspirations, and their state-of-mind; but because they are OFFENDED that supervising the nannies doesn't quality as a real job.

DeleteChoice - the operative word.
ReplyDeleteChoice - something not usually allowed to Christian Fundamentalist woman. So how dare they even use that word!
Choice - something not usually available to working class low-income mothers who have to keep a job(s) if they want to feed their children. An insult to think that these woman even have the ability to choose their economic destinies (or have a very limited opportunity to do so).
Choice - a PRIVILEGE for woman such as Mrs. Romney and Palin who have the money and opportunity to do as they wish, when they wish. To pretend that these rich woman really have to "take care of their children" and "need to work" is also insulting. They can hire who they need to take care of their children. They can choose what kind of job to take and how much they want to work. It is a false comparison to weigh working women of this financial class to poor working women.
To create this faux outrage over their fake ability to have a "choice" is again raising the bar on offensiveness to woman. And Romney, Palin, Hannity, think their continued attack on the working class woman of this country is going to improve the Republican's political chances? - which goes to prove just how delusional and stupid they actually are.
Every poll I've seen in the last 2 months has shown women of all political stripes fleeing the GOP in droves.
Hell yeah.

DeleteMore attacks coming tonight: just saw this:
ReplyDelete"In a special called ‘Paying at the Pump,’ Governor Sarah Palin and I are extremely concerned about the gasoline crisis in America. It’s an energy crisis that threatens our fragile economy at a time most Americans cannot afford it. The gas price spike affects every single American in ways you would never think of. That’s why we decided to offer the Obama administration our help. Combined, Governor Palin and I have five decades of experience in energy, and we will offer the administration some actionable steps they might take to save Americans hundreds of billions of dollars. But, will they listen? Will they act or let the American people suffer more pain at the pump? Don’t forget to tune in Friday at 10p ET."
Good Lord, these two nitwits are offering up their combined 'expertise ' to the President. Isn't that sweet and patriotic of them? And so selfless.
I can name their Five ideas: Drill in Anwar.
Approve the Filthy Tar Sands pipeline that is CANADIAN sludge and will do nothing for our gas supply...ever
Drill in the gulf (because it is obviously a myth that there is more drilling there now than under Bush)
Allow fracking all over the country, because those supposed earthquakes are a lie too. And that flaming tap water? Just a plot from the tree-huggers.
And finally, bomb Iran, because then we can control the oil supply and not rely on the Middle East.
Meanwhile, the gas prices here in MI have DROPPED 40 cents in two weeks after rising 30 cents in one day. But there is no manipulation fo prices by oil companies, and no regulation is needed.
As usual the GOP is a day late and a dollar short on this issue. I know from personal experience that higher gas prices do NOT stop anyone in SE IN from driving around like a maniac or using their gas hogging toys.
Delete5 decades of energy experience....
Deletebwha ha ha ha ha
what a pair of self-satisfied, stupid, sociopaths
Screech doesn't seem to get that most of the oil the US uses comes from Canada, not those evil regimes she keeps yapping about. When Obama nixed the keystone pipeline, the Canadians just turned it west and kept building it to the pacific coast where the oil will now go to China's refineries, a rare Obama mistake
DeleteNot accurate. The pipeline has not been approved by the First Nations who would be affected and cannot go on until they do. May take years as these things tend to drag on. I agree with you about the ignorance of she who must not be named.
DeleteI was accurate,
Deletehttp://www.as-coa.org/article.php?id=3905
Not accurate. They can send the sludge through Canada, but they do not have a PORT to support a supertanker. Thus, they plan to run the hazardous pipes through the US heartland to the gulf, where we will refine it at great cost to the environment, and then pipe it into the tanker to be shipped to Europe. There is NO benefit for us, and lots if room for very costly and dangerous mistakes. Look up the tar sands spill in Kalamazoo and see what they are still dealing with in a streambed. Imagine an entire aquifer ruined.
Delete5 decades? So he has what,49.5 years of experience?
DeleteUmm why did Bristol name her son after Todd's prostitute Shailey Tripp? That's weird huh? What a sick perverted family. All the way from PedoChuck "I like when little girls sleep naked" to Todd "I put used condoms in my coat pocket", they are a seriously demented family.
ReplyDeleteOf course Sarah Palin has something to say about this false controversy. False controversies and fake outrage are her favorite publicity stunts.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget, False Narratives!
DeleteLOL Sarah Palin the loser still thinks people care about what she says. That's so sad. She really doesn't realize she's the most hated person in America. I still think Sarah Palin is like Casey Anthony meets George Zimmerman. Violent depraved pathological lying sickos.
ReplyDeleteRosen's point was that Romney keeps saying he goes to his wife for advice about women's economic and other issues and his wife having lived in wealth her whole life and never having been been or had to have been in the workforce is probably not the best source for that kind of advice. Makes sense to me even if awkwardly stated.
ReplyDeleteThe GOP has dug a hole for itself attacking women's health issues to corner the Christian Right's support and are now grasping at anything to pull the Dems into their self made cesspool. So they try to equate one misstatement by an individual not even part of the Democratic party apparatus to all the rhetoric, threats, insults, bills, and actual laws they have thrown out against women's rights to access health care. In the process, they have interfered with and demeaned a woman's ability to make important personal medical decisions. For them to think that this current ploy will work is in itself is an insult to the intelligence and judgement of most women.
It cracks me up that choosing to stay home with your kids is a conservative issue, but choosing to regulate the number of kids you birth is not a conservative issue.
ReplyDeleteAbstinence is the conservative choice, birth control pills is not.
It's conservative to spend millions on a stable of pricey dressage horse, it's not conservative to play golf (while POTUS).
It's conservative to state you wife is a primary source for information on women's issues, without following up with any credentials the wife has on women's issues.
It's conservative as HE!! to desperately try to bury the fact that your own campaign staff used the term "etch-a-sketch" when you yourself are spoken of as "inhuman", "a robot", "flip-flop-er", "inconsistent", "boring", "no political solutions", "Sarah Palin with more money", etc.
I found the Gawker/Fox Mole comments about Sean Hannity quite revealing but not surprising. He's such a worm. Gawker has four contributions from the mole (Joe Muto) with more to come, and he promises to really do an expose now that he has been fired from Fox. Looking forward to that.

Translation: I have not been in the "news" enough this week, so I must latch on to a non-issue and make it seem like it is paramount.
ReplyDeleteIf you were a married Mormon woman in the Equal Rights Era, your life was run by the white male leaders/elders of the LDS. Romney "chose" to stay home with her kids she says, but in reality she had no other choice. Good grief, the LDS even has "pregnancy police," who routinely check on newlyweds to remind them to get pregnant.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very good point.
DeleteAt the point in time when Ann was married, the LDS women were basically programmed to get married very young or go to college to get a husband. My neighbor, LDS, said her parents wanted her to go to college to get a husband not an education. She did, but did not program her daughters to do the same. Several of my daughter's LDS pals won't get married until they are set in a career and have some sort of steady income. They are changing, but it is glacially slow.
DeleteI still think Willard is scared to death of gentile females and that is why he put his wife out as a shield (like Trig for Palin). I know most LDS males won't talk to me unless their wife is around. Sort of freaky because the fundie, catholic, and protestant men do.
And when Mitt Romney was in France promoting the Mormon religion, it was the church policy that blacks weren't allowed the rituals to ensure "higher salvation".
DeleteCan you imagine the uproar if Barack Obama's youth included work in a church that excluded whites from "higher salvation"?
The media is going all 'all religions are equal" for Romney, but his being a Mormon bishop and stake president is a liability.
DeleteI need to heard Romney say (over and over again), abstinence and contraceptive pills are equally moral and valid family planning options.
Romney should be NAILED for saying he'd get rid of Planned Parenthood. What PRECISELY, Mr. (fat-headed idiot) Romney is your plan for women's heath issues sans Planned Parenthood?
I hereby demand....DEMAND....that Democrats begin calling it the "Republic" Party, since THEY seem to feel they're being too cute for words every time they purposely use the improper "Democrat" instead of the grammatically correct "Democratic" Party. I guess that's just ONE MORE THING Palin never picked up in "journalism school".
ReplyDeleteSome nitwit on Pinterest (I know, Pinterest of all places) tried to 'correct' a commenter who pointed out that it's called the 'Democratic' Party not the 'Democrat' Party.
DeleteSure, it's 'Democrat' Party if you're an uneducated hick I guess.
Hip, hip, hooray!
DeleteAs adjuctives,Democrats are the Democratic Party.
But, if you insist on the "Democrat" Party, then Republicans belong to the Republic" Party.
Sorry: misspelling -- "adjectives."
DeleteAnd Republicans belong to the "Republic" Party.
Some GOP think tank genius thought up "Democrat" as an adjective several years ago, and it's been spreading like a slow but ugly virus since then. Fight back when you can, since its purpose is to diminish the Democratic Party and its members.
Again, totally skewing the FACT of the statements. No one here criticizing stay at home moms! MERELY OBSERVING that when you are so rich you have never agonized over which bill to pay when you only have money for one, your stating that you chose to be a stay at home mom and raise your five boys really has NOTHING in common with the majority of the women in this country, for whom such a choice is heartbreaking in itself, as it deprived the family of a much needed second income, much of which will go to childcare, or it deprives the family of a mother raising her own children, for which there is NO substitute.
ReplyDeleteThus, for the average woman, choosing to be a stay at home mom, is a sacrifice to be admired. Ann Romney does NOT fall into this category. And no one begrudges those who don't HAVE to work! Envious maybe, but I for one would not hesitate to do the same. Just don't have the opportunity. And if I were rich and didn't have to work and had the luxury of raising my kids with NO financial hardship, I would CERTAINLY do so, but I would not dare to compare myself with hard working families for whom a stay at home mom is as much a sacrifice economically as going to work is an emotional sacrifice.
Exactly. If she actually fed and housed those five boys with her zero salary as a mother, THEN she'd be an economic expert.
DeleteBut currently,l her only solution to the economy is "marry rich."
THANK YOU, 9:04!!!!!!!!!
DeleteYes, THANK YOU, 9:04!!!
DeleteMrs. Romney had the money to afford to stay home, her choice. She should also admit that she might have had to work if she wasn't so fortunate. Her fortune brought nannies, housekeepers, landscapers, etc. her husband also may have helped. She should never compare herself to a struggling woman who has to work full time and take care of a household, without any help..
ReplyDeleteOnce again the right show their less-than-tenuous grasp on reality by missing the point entirely:
ReplyDeletethe criticism of Ann Romney wasn't that she decided to stay home and raise her kids...
it was that she could - with zero worries about not bringing home money essential to their well-being - and thus, when Mitt turns to her for advice on home economics, it's disingenuous.
The original comment stands: Ann Romney hasn't a CLUE about the real-world and the economic stresses faced by the majority of women in this country - and how her husband's proposed policies will adversely affect them.
I think most people get this, it is just a topic blown out of proportion by the GOP and their media minions to sell ads and get some digs in to the DEMs. Most women I know who are stay at home moms are there because they do have a choice.

ReplyDeleteSarah Palin Hits Back At Roger Ailes’ Remark That She ‘Had No Chance To Be President’
ReplyDeleteAhead of her Fox News special Paying at the Pump, Sarah Palin gave an interview to Breitbart.com. Discussing various aspects of energy policies, Palin’s final question was about the network’s boss Roger Ailes — and her response wasn’t exactly glowing.
The question was: “Governor, many people were disappointed that you decided not to run for president this year, but are still hoping that you might one day run for the White House in the future. Roger Ailes was recently quoted as saying, ‘Sarah Palin had no chance to be President.’ What do you make of that?”
“Interesting,” Palin said, before continuing on to say:
'I haven’t heard all of his remarks, but I wonder if he is aware that the same thing was said about me when I ran for city council, mayor, and eventually governor. No doubt many people who are told they can’t do something will work that much harder, and they succeed. Maybe you guys should send him a copy of Steve Bannon’s The Undefeated. The theme of Steve’s film isn’t about me, but about the idea of not letting others dictate one’s path in life and never giving up when you’re fighting for something precious like our exceptional nation and our children’s futures. So, would you send a copy of The Undefeated to him?'
You’ll recall that last year Ailes made some headlines following a New York magazine profile. The piece quoted a Republican source close to Ailes as saying:
“Roger is worried about the future of the country. He thinks the election of Obama is a disaster. He thinks Palin is an idiot. He thinks she’s stupid. He helped boost her up. People like Sarah Palin haven’t elevated the conservative movement.”
http://www.mediaite.com/online/sarah-palin-hits-back-at-roger-ailes-remark-that-she-had-no-chance-to-be-president/
Yeah, the Undefeated wasn't about Sarah. Right Sarah. It's about hard-working people who do what? Get your coffee, book your jets, find you a speaking gig, write your posts, books and speeches for you, take Trig off your hands, make sure Piper goes to school, apply for your tax funds from Alaska, rile up your 'bots so they keep sending more money for you, er, your good conservative candidates, er, you. You are a shameless grifting piece of work.
DeleteMy mother looked at a small town with limited employment choices and no childcare, and her own limited education (depression, no money) and choose to stay home with her 3 kids (that she had in 3 years, 3 months - baby boom).
ReplyDeleteHowever my mother considered my father's earnings to be the product of both their efforts. And she used her time at home to manage money effectively. For example, home meals from cheap ingredients, no snacks, no desserts, no extras. She made our clothes.... etc, etc, etc.
My mother "worked" and felt she "earned" half of dad's wages.
BUT.....
If anyone had ever presented my mother as an expert on women's issues, she would have been the first to laugh. You have to do a LOT more of exploring the world and getting to know all kinds of people to be able to advise a president (or a candidate) on the complexity of the range of women's issues facing this country.
Romney has a BIG problem because President Obama polls much higher with women voters. And Romney's best attempt at closing the gap is to proffer his wife as an adviser. He is a joke.
Romney is an empty, brainless suit just putting in his hours on the clock until his defeat in November. He has no hope of winning, so he's on cruise control.
Fuck her and her "choices" -- she'd rather take away our right to choose yet keep it for herself.
ReplyDeleteNothing surprising here. This is just more of her usual bile. She is devoid of humanity. This is what you can get when you pair a sociopath(or psychopath) with an ignorant, low IQ, middle school mean girl. She is monstrous in all respects. She will be a clueless 'victim' until the end.
ReplyDeleteSince she says women need to stick together, where was her outrage over Limbaughs comments on Fluke. Or that he calls Michelle Obama "Moochelle" almost everyday. Double standard from this idiot, as usual!!
ReplyDeleteExclusive Interview: Palin Talks Pain at the Pump Ahead of Fox News Special

On Fox & Friends this morning, Steve Bannon, the producer of the Palin flop, was interviewed about its upcoming airing on cable. What a father he turned out to be. He left his kids destitute and the mother had to beg at his memorial to keep them off of food stamps. Breitbart kids like Octomoms. Would his wife get death threats if they have to go on food stamps?
Sarah always has to bring it all back to her. Poor poor Sarah. She has said so many nasty things about Michelle Obama she is just pure evil.
ReplyDeleteAlso, too she says energy is "her baby". WTF? She knows nothing except drill baby drill. She couldn't even factually state the % of oil Alaska produces..sheesh what a moron!!
ReplyDeleteIt's about as much her baby as Trig is.

From Hillary Rosen:
ReplyDeleteMy Twitter feed was on fire after an appearance last night on CNN's AC360, where I said that I thought it was wrong for Mitt Romney to be using his wife as his guide to women's economic struggles when she "had never worked a day in her life." Oh my, you should read the tweets and the hate mail I got after that. The accusations were flying. I don't know what it means to be a mom (I have 2 children). I obviously don't value the work that a mother does and how hard it is (the hardest job I have ever had); and I absolutely hate anyone who doesn't have the same views as I do (hate is a strong word).
Spare me the faux anger from the right who view the issue of women's rights and advancement as a way to score political points. When it comes to supporting policies that would actually help women, their silence has been deafening. I don't need lectures from the RNC on supporting women and fighting to increase opportunities for women; I've been doing it my whole career. If they want to attack me and distract the public's attention away from their nominee's woeful record, it just demonstrates how much they just don't get it.
My favorite tweet was from someone who said that Republicans like Ann Romney so much more than Mitt that by attacking her (which I didn't), I got people to defend him in a way they never would.
That last one I can actually understand.
Now let's be clear on one thing. I have no judgements about women who work outside the home vs. women who work in the home raising a family. I admire women who can stay home and raise their kids full-time. I even envy them sometimes. It is a wonderful luxury to have the choice. But let's stipulate that it is NOT a choice that most women have in America today.
Why does this even matter? It matters purely because Mitt Romney put the issue of his wife's views squarely on the table.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/hilary-rosen/ann-romney-women_b_1419480.html?ref=politics
By the way, Rosen is a one-l Hilary, Gryphen.
ReplyDeleteThis whole Hillary Rosen "distraction" is really pissing me off. What is it about her statement that isn't true? Sure Ann had the tough job of raising five kids, but she didn't do it as a single mom making minimum wage. She NEVER had to worry where the next meal was coming from or having the lights turned off because she couldn't pay the bill. That was the gist of Rosen's argument. And it really pisses me off that the left just caved on this issue. Jonathan Capehart tried to explain his view and was quickly shut down by Mama Grizzly Mika (puke). Nothing but a bunch of fucking babies.
ReplyDeleteHillary Rosen told the truth, and we need to respect her courage. Instead we stick our tails between our legs and allow those right wing bullies to intimidate us. Fuck Hannity, and Palin. Continue to speak the truth sister Hillary.
DeleteSara can't acknowledge Mitt because then her frothing at the mouth legion will realize that her getting the nomination is, as it was, pure BS. As long as she holds out her fantasy that someone will come down from the convention to her little hospitality suite and beg her to be the nominee the longer she can play the SaraPAC game and continue to grift. I think she could give a shit about his being a Mormon and it's all about pushing her aside and foiling her plan to get the nomination without having to do any work for it or answer any questions
ReplyDeleteI really don't have time for this today - being both a working Mom and one who spends her at home time parenting, actively, but I'd like to participate in the conversation, and need to vent my feelings a bit as I don't have time or money for the "therapy" that Annie Rmoney can enjoy.
ReplyDeleteSarah and Ann:
May you both rot in hell, you ugly skank-assed bitches. Rmoney - you can't take money or the warmbloods with you. $carah - your buds over at C4P made a big mistake - the open thread had a 4 year old pic - right next to one from Hannity last night. Wow - have you ever aged - and that nose is gonna touch that chin someday soon. reminds me of.... oh yeah - The Wicked Witch of the West in the Wizard of Oz. So does your voice.
As for your words - too stupid to bother with - a simple - Sit Down and Shut the fuck up, $carah is sufficient - and your stoopid sister, too. And now that you've brought her into it - was that sister Molly the brood mare that made that remark, or Heather, the dental hygienist?
Hear, hear!

Let's talk about the Palins' ILLICIT unreported INCOME. Let's talk about Sarah Palin's ILLEGAL PER DIEM for staying at home while Governor. It is time to BRING OUT THE BIG DOGS to EXPOSE ALL OF THE PALIN CORRUPTION.
ReplyDeleteThe diseased, retarded halfwit halfterm hypocrite has no right whatsoever opining on the statement made by Rosen regarding Willard's wife. Skank-lin's track record as a mother is pathetic at best. Furthermore, the entire issue has been egregiously taken out of context by the right-tards in order to have yet another way to criticize the (black) president. Rosen was criticizing Romney's use of his wife as an example of women who put financial issues before reproductive issues, which is typical right-tard nonsense. Mrs. Willard probably never had the typical financial issues most women encounter on a daily basis. But because Rosen pointed out yet another example of Romney's disconnect from most of society the right-tards saw fit to slam Obama. Now THAT makes sense........
ReplyDeleteShe got more excited talking about Energy as her baby than she ever got talking about Trig as her baby. Does she call Energy the retarded one too?
ReplyDeleteWhat a maroon. (Thanks Bugs Bunny).
ReplyDeleteSarah Palin, what personality is she using today? On the Morning show she was sexy biker chick. Now she is Grizzley Mom one more time, whining that the president didn't call her or Bristol, and why should he? Pray tell Mrs thin skin and all around tough mean girl? Tomorrow she will be Poor Little Me, and next week Queen of the Big Outdoors.
Choices, choices. All play acting her roles like Glenn Beck. Next Todd willl have to build her her very own Oval Office. (After the Republicans lose).
Didn't she remodel her Mayor office in mid-century bordello? It may still be like that.
DeleteIf she can get another reality show, like Bristol, she may be able to get her own set for free. Tax break if they film there.
I knew exactly what Ms Rosen was trying to say.... Ann Romeny has NO CLUE what it is like to spend 10+ hours a week comuting to a job that you work 40-50+ hours a week, then going home and putting in another umpteen hours running your household, meals, laundry, cleaning, being involved in your kids lives and seldom missing a ballgame or recital, when you are so exhausted that all you really want is to sit down and put your feet up because you have been on them all day. 90% of mothers today not only work at raising their children and being involved in thier lives they also work fulltime outside of the home...The only job Ann has running her home is sitting with her china tea cup ordering the servants to do this or that... I would bet she was exhausted at the end of the day......Sarah would never know this because she not only DID NOT raise her own children she faked working outside of the home too....
ReplyDeleteWorry.
DeleteWorry about money.
How will we pay this unexpected bill?
All things that Ann Romney doesn't have a clue about.
She also let Mitt haul their dog cross country on top of their car.
What an embarrassment she is. Words fail.
ReplyDeleteHannity and Palin are like two mean old gossips over tea mightily enjoying defaming and pulling down others; they sit and languish, while reading through the obituaries to see who they cheated this week.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing complimentary about watching those two. Sarah did NOT mention that President Obama defended stay-at-home moms yesterday. Why they attack him and blame him for every silly utterance is beyond me. And the worst of it? They are paid a nice salary for this. How they go to bed and sleep at night is beyond me.
Those like Palin and Hannity don't just stop at the POTUS. I imagine their mean little hearts hate on their loved ones at home as well. They can't turn it on and off when they want. It will show in their home life.
The bitterness they hold inside must spew out when the cameras aren't rolling as well. To be a fly on the Fox office walls to hear how diva Hannity really treats his colleagues.
Once again SP is promoting energy experience with a promo about tonight - and Gov's combined 5 decades of energy experience? This means that the co-host had 4 decades and eight months of it, and just possibly SP had about as long a term at it as she was governor in AK. Talk about embellishing non-credentials! Say the lie enough and people start believing it is the truth, even your own self.
ReplyDeleteWhy do dems let the right hijack this statement? Risen is absolutely right. Although she should have said that Anne Romney has no idea what its like to be an average woman in the US because most woman in this country don't have 2 Cadallacs

Talk about a 'war' on women, this is disgustingly insidious.
will this fecking bitch ever go away..you can see the hate ooozing out of her...
ReplyDeleteSarah is just too narcissistic, greedy and dim to do the one thing that could salvage her public image: sit down and shut up for awhile.
ReplyDeleteInstead, she never misses an opportunity to chase the hyped story of the news cycle, catching a publicity ride on any cheap controversy - on camera if they's have her, or Facebook if necessary.
The result is that she constantly reminds everyone paying attention that she is a hopelessly ignorant, grandstanding idiot only too happy to fan whatever flames of controversy - or trashy drama - with her stale gibberish and shameless lies.
The good news is that she has relentlessly and thoroughly branded herself as unsuitable for office, petty, vindictive, and reactionary - but also as not only dimwitted and poorly educated, but also intellectually lazy and dishonest.
She is a piece of work. And she's managed to make sure everyone knows it, for which we should be grateful.
Is it true that Ann Romney can't speak about women's economic needs because she's never worked outside the home and was advantaged even in her roll as a stay-at-home mom? Must we negate her claims of speaking to women on the campaign trail? Are we saying that you can't speak for a group if you haven't shared it's experience? Seriously? Should Michelle Obama stop speaking out for the needs of our armed forces families?
ReplyDeleteThe GOP is so wrong on women's issues that they jumped on the chance to flame the divisive working mom vs. stay-at-home mom. We need to resist any attempt to pit woman against woman, whether based on her career choice or necessity and get the conversation back to the GOP's policies that harm all women.
Of course Ann Romney has views on women's issues (and so do I). What Ann Romney does not have is credentials to advise on a wide range of complex issues facing women in this country. Being a mom certainly is good experience but it's not broad wide-ranging experience.
DeleteMitt Romney replied to a question about where he gets his info on women's issues. His answer was simply his wife. He offered no other source. He demonstrated no other qualifications that Ann Romney has other than being his wife.
Romney's response to the question was pathetic. But his handling of a mis-step by the opposition has been brilliant.
Can Romney make it to the White House solely by exploiting the blunders of his opponents. Well, he can try. After all he has nothing else to use.
If Ann Romney were concerned about women's economic needs and if her husband realy listened to her, they would both support Ledbetter, don't you think?
DeleteAnd he doesn't seem to have anything else to do either.
DeleteMichelle Obama was a very successful working mother.
Deleteyou have to read this interview, it is an absolute joke:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/04/12/palin-interview-exclusive
She never got a call from the president... it makes me giggle to think how insignificant Sarah Palin is to the President of the United States, whoever he might be. That our president is brilliant, well-educated, well-spoken, calm and strategic is even better, just by contrast to this woman. Best of all is the sense of humor with which he might regard her, and people like her, if he had the time as he goes about his busy day.
ReplyDeleteI don't think she has been in the same room with him more than once, and she has never met him. It's why she was determined to meet her 'idol,' Maggie Thatcher...so she could say she lunched with a head of state...once it was explained to her that teh QUEEN was a figurehead and didn't make war decisions.
DeleteI just couldn't watch her. It's a lovely morning here on Maui and I'm having my first cup of organic Espresso roast and don't want to curdle the almond milk ...
ReplyDeleteSarah is a sorry excuse for a "patriot." She must have missed the class (just one?) where they taught us to respect the Presidency. Just ask the Dixie Chicks about that one! Her vile comments flow like oil from the Exxon Valdez and the results of her vitriol have 'rill' consequences. Just ask Gabby Giffords. The Trayvon Martin killing has brought what hate/fear can do 'front and center.' Sarah should change her last name to Zimmerman because they're two peas in a pod. Her "fear" of our amazing "black" President has revealed her for all to see. She can't STOP herself from negatively commenting on him. That's called "obsessive" and "compulsive," Sarah. Get help. Then go home and do 'damage control' on what's left of your family.
And, remember, the best thing we can ALL do to stop the insanity of the far-Right is to give ourselves a Democratic Landslide!!!
Justice for Trayvon! KARMA for Palin!
This is stupid. Mitt Romney will get no traction from female voters for this manufactured "war on stay-at-home moms," non-troversy. It even sounds silly. First, it's 2012, not 1955. Most women/mothers today work, so they can earn a paycheck. Second, not all women are mothers. And, I'm sure some of those stay-at-home moms are staunch democrats who will be voting for President Obama in Novermber. One out of context comment, from a person most people have never heard of and, one day of manufactured outrage, is not going to help Mitt Romney close his 20 point gender gap, against President Obama. It doesn't work that way. Barack Obama, and the democrats "condemned" Hillary Rosen, because they wanted to put the story to rest, because it was a distraction from the real issues, which that asshole Mitt Romney is going to actually have to address, eventually. A manufactured outrage like this, will be forgetten long before November. And, the media will probably have moved onto a shiny new object, by Monday.
ReplyDeleteAnd, fuck $arah Palin!
Isn't it a little weird for anyone to call anyone else fake about anything? You don't know what they feel inside, let alone know them as people. What you see is what you get with Palin.

DeleteSTFU Krusty!
I see a lying narcissist who faked a pregnancy for political gain. I see a vidictive, evil divisive person who attacks and gets revenge on anyone she feels insulted or slighted her. I see someone who uses anyone for her advantage then throws them under the bus. I see a neglectful selfish mother who has ignored her children for herself at every turn. Yeah, what you see is what you get. Sociopathy, isn't it grand in all its glory?
Delete"What you see is what you get." Agreed. We see a narcissistic, whiny, greedy moron.
DeleteWhat you get with Palin is a woman that boasts of boarding a transcontinental flight after an amniotic fluid leak without a medical check for a premature Down Syndrome baby when she was high-risk (over 40, 7th pregnancy, history of miscarriage).
DeletePalin is right up and truthful as a sociopath can be about her endangering the welfare of an unborn child. She is mentally unstable and PROUD of it.
"Isn't it a little weird for anyone to call anyone else fake about anything? You don't know what they feel inside, let alone know them as people. What you see is what you get with Palin."
DeleteThere you go lying your ass off again. Everything you say is a lie. No one believes anything you say. You're wasting your time. Sit down and shut up troll.
So...she's disgruntled because "Uhh never received a phone call, but I think that's again more of the inconsistencies, double standards, the D-I-V-I-S-I-V-E-N-E-S-S..."?
ReplyDeleteTake what you can get Sarah and count yourself lucky. No one, anywhere, much less the White House or the President, is going to call you to tell you what they really think of you. You have to go to the internets [sic] and blogs for that.
Well...there ARE those Canadian radio guys. They might have something for you.
Fox analysts and hosts are always playing a furious game of doubles even when there's nobody on the other side of the net. Obama hasn't thought about Palin since ever.
ReplyDeleteThere she goes projecting again. Who's the one R-E-S-P-O-N-S-I-B-L-E for the D-I-V-I-S-I-V-E-N-E-S-S in this country, Sarah? YOU are, along with your hate-mongering pals and supporters.
ReplyDeleteShe looks more ghastly with every appearance. See what hatred and jealousy do to a person, Sarah? If I were you, I certainly wouldn't commenting on ANYTHING to do with motherhood considering the brood YOU "raised."
Nice dodge on the Stossel prostitution discussion, though. Gotta stand by that pimp "husband" of yours to perpetuate the BIG LIE and keep the money rolling in.
What a PATHETIC waste of flesh you are, Sarah. Keep looking over your shoulder, honey. We're breathing down your neck.
Every time Sarah Palin speaks there should be someone in the background with a sign that says "It is a tale. Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing."
ReplyDeleteSarah bet on Newt, and now he can't even crawl his way back to Fox according to Ailes.
ReplyDeleteHow many ways can she screw up?
And she's apparently too stupid to understand - or too arrogant to care - about what the PAC filings reveal.
She's got her snout in the trough and isn't going to stop until the slop is all gone. Which, at the rate she's going will be in about a year. Even her supporters are starting to smell the stench.
What else is left? Speakers bureau? Nope, she's too lazy to bother to target the audience or the subject. Book sales? Been there, blew that. Reality show? Failed at that. Talk show host? Not likely; too polarizing - and then there's the total lack of charm, talent or effort. Political analyst? Hah! Fox now trots her out when they want to bring the cray-cray. Political office. Never happen. Appointed office? REALLY never gonna happen.
WalMart clothing label?
You betcha! Sarah vs. Roger Ailes!
DeleteHow about when she screws up and attacks Mitt? Starts to really mess up Republican prospects in 2012?
Sarah vs. Karl Rove!
Game On! They deserve each other, and yes I will watch with glee as he destroys her.
No one (media outlets) seems to be catching the fact that the talking points made by all the Romneys (son Josh, wife and Mitt) are of their Mormon faith teachings. They prefer their wives stay home and raise the kids - the mother plays a big, but subservient roll as mother and wife to the husband.
ReplyDeleteRomney's wife is NOT qualified to lend him financial information regarding running the United States of America. That is the most ridiculous thing I've heard! Hopefully, this 'mother' crap is shortlived. I personally (and, I did it) raised kids and worked (with a husband part of that time) - I would suspect my life was much more difficult that that of Mrs. Romney. And, yes, I know she had the cancer scare and has MS. I also have MS!
"subservient roll"
Delete(unintentional I know, but thanks for the chuckle)
Sarah's lips pucker up unnaturally. Looks like they got some injections.
ReplyDeleteSean won't stop about Bristol and Sarah never receiving a phone call from the President. And she can't stop reminding everyone she's been slammed about working with 5 kids, and being a victim of vile names.
NOTICE at the 8:20 mark of the clip, after Hannity shows POTUS speaking about his wife. After, the camera pans on Sarah and she's sitting with her head cocked a little on the side looking demurely at Sean. She has her hand delicately placed under her chin and as she's looking at Sean she's slowly blinking her eyelids at him - she's FLIRTING. It's pathetic.
Ever heard the term "hell hath no fury"??
ReplyDeletehttp://unitewomen.org/unite/
If the GOP wants a war, they got it. On Sat. April 28th, in cities across the nation, there are going to be rallies & marches in support of women's rights.
I don't know about you guys, but I am PISSED. So I know where I'LL be...how about you??
Absolutely. I signed up shortly after our illustrious governor smirked that there is nothing wrong with making a woman seeking an abortion have an ultrasound and also, too make her face the screen because "she can always close her eyes."
DeleteThe 'retreat, reload' thing will never never never stop. It is one of this psychpath's constants. She must be mentally challenged, because no one in their right mind keeps saying it over and over in every interview, when it's not even relevant. She always tells it with the added, 'like my dad says'. There is something very odd in the way Sarah must ALWAYS mention or quote her sisters, family members, children at every opportunity, as though she can't engage as one individual; she seems to lack an awareness that she is an individual and not a family appendage. It is disturbing that the woman who claims she's a professional this and that cannot make a comment without a reference to a family member, as though she is naked and irrelevant without them.
ReplyDeleteSarah Palin is a sociopath. They are "different".
DeleteI'm sure it's already been said, but what the fuck does Sarah Palin know about being a mother and raising good kids??? Cause last I looked, she didn't have any good kids to be seen. Letting your kids raise themselves because you're too much of a selfish bitch to do it yourself! I hate supposed mothers like you. Always wanting the glory of being a mother, but never wanting to do the dirty work! Go fuck yourself Sarah! You're a poor excuse for a mother!
ReplyDeleteI'm a SAHM, and been one for 12 years, and I couldn't agree more with Hilary Rosen. Ann Romney is one of those SAHMs who is out of touch. She's never had to make sacrifices to stay at home with her kids. She's never had to go without. Our family has, but the payoff is worth it to us, and the proof is in our children and their successes. I'd gladly give up the material things to have this time with my kids, because I can always get shit later, I'll never get this time with my kids back.
ReplyDeleteBristol has a post on her blog about Sarah's energy special and tells President Obama if he isn't doing anything, he should watch. "President Obama, if you aren't ---"
ReplyDeleteShe is directly blogging a comment to Obama as though he reads her blog. The Palin narcissism knows no bounds.
Just want to know what jewels she will wear tonight.

Laughable that a woman who has failed miserably at both being a mom and having a productive career outside "the home" should feel qualified to weigh in as some kind of authority.
ReplyDeleteOur INTELLIGENT BLACK PRESIDENT is never going to call Sarah and Bristol. EVER. They only matter to gossip rags and comedians strictly for fodder.
ReplyDeleteSucks to be YOU, Mommie Dearests!
Oh he might call her one day. He'll call her a dumb ass pathetic BITCH.
DeleteThe day this bimbo grifter can raise just one kid who (a) graduates from high school with good grades; (b) doesn't get knocked up the local hooligan; (c) goes on to graduate from a half-decent 4-year institution of higher learning in 4 years with a real degree, she'll have something important to say about being a "mom." So far, she's struck out with her two eldest kids - the son barely graduated high school, and the daughter thought that condoms were just funny-looking balloons.
ReplyDeleteI've gotta say something that could very well be taken as being sexist as hell. I'm really not comfortable taking shots at women's mothering abilities, but maybe if that Mama Grizzly spent a little more time with her kids, maybe her two oldest daughters would stop crying out for attention in such negative ways.
ReplyDeleteFor someone who has to fetishize the "mama" part of her identity in order to justify stepping into the public spotlight -- whether as a pistol-packin-mama or a mama-grizzly or turning her kids into celebrities -- she certainly is sure of her feminist identity...
ReplyDeleteAnn Romney: It is hard work to strap your nanny to the roof of your station wagon.
ReplyDeleteDid Ann's childhood nanny just throw Ann under the bus? Unconfirmed but she probably was raised in a household with help.

Thank you all for giving me a good laugh today. It kind of puts the absurdity of the whole GOP "I'm rubber and you're glue" strategy in its proper context. It only works when really well executed and Team RMoney didn't really bring their A game to this transparent little manufactured kerfuffle. Caribou Barbie weighing in kind of puts a button on it, no?
ReplyDeleteRe: Hilary Rosen
ReplyDeleteEven if she "has the ear of the president" that does not mean she "is the mouth of the president." Duh.
Someone should remind the GOP that we women forget NOTHING. We won't forget the all-male panel before Congress discussing birth control; we won't forget Rush Limbaugh's denigration of a college student and generally of all women who use birth control; we won't forget the cuts to government spending that the GOP made and would like to continue making that impact women and their children; we won't forget the trans-vaginal ultra-sound bill; we won't forget that Arizona just made it law that a woman is considered pregnant two weeks before she even has sex (yeah, really); we won't forget the fact that the GOP wants our employers to make our health care decisions for us; we won't forget that they want to cut all funding to Planned Parenthood; we won't forget Blunt-Rubio; we won't forget that we make less money than men; we won't forget the 1,100 bills introduced by the GOP across the country curtailing women's rights.
ReplyDeleteNothing a pundit, Ann Romney, or Sarah Palin says will make us forget.
Thank you. Excellent comment.
DeleteAgreed, and we should NOT forget Susan G. Komen either. I bet they think we have!
DeleteRoger Ailes has remarked that she "had no chance" of becoming president. LOL
ReplyDeleteRead at HuffPost or Mediate.com
Neither one of them represent "real" "working" women. We all have kids that we have or had to raise but we didn't get the luxury of "choosing" whether we go to work or not. Most of us had no choice. If we want to put a roof over our head or feed ourselves and our children, then we had to go to work outside the home. Ann Romney said she shouldn't be disrespected because she chose to be a stay at home mother. What she doesn't get is that she had no reason to go to work if she didn't want to. She could have pursued a career when her children became school age but again she chose not to. Again, the majority of working women do not get that choice. Personally, I don't give a ratz azz what she does but don't get on Faux Noise playing the "victim" (like Failin Palin) crying "they're picking on me!
ReplyDeleteI, for one, could not care less if she worked outside the home or not. What I care about, and what I suspect most of us care about, is that Ann Romney is being used as some sort of "example" for the rest of us when she has nothing in common with a good majority of women in this country. She doesn't know what it is like to look into the faces of her children, knowing they are hungry but having to figure out if she pays the electric bill or buys more food. She doesn't know what it is like to have to stay home with the kids because you can't afford day care even though your family needs the income. She doesn't know these every day struggles and I find it highly offensive that she tries to make us think she does. Yes, she worked hard like any mother works hard to raise children; it's not an easy task for anyone. But to equate HER life with the lives of the majority of mothers in this country is just ridiculous and it is just as ridiculous to watch the right wing tripping over themselves as some sort of standard bearer for CHOICE when in fact they'd take even more choice away from us.
ReplyDeleteYes and she doesn't know what its like not being able to afford your kids' school pictures and seeing their disappointed faces because you have to buy groceries and make only $10 an hour!

ReplyDelete“When I hired most of the Republican contributors, none of them had any immediate prospects of becoming President"
Hey, Hannity: Damn straight we're pro-choice. We'd like some family-friendly policies in place that allow all families the "luxury" of affordable high-quality child care, family leave for moms and dads, and the ability to support a family without both parents having to work 2 jobs each.
ReplyDeleteWonder what they offered Shailey Tripp. She will stop after Ask anything of me Friday today April 13, and delete the entire blog and comments next Friday. So copy, copy, copy if you want.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what her wonderful 3rd chance in life is. Certainly money enough to stop blogging or to expect anything from the book.
The Palins smoothing her way?
Probably the Palins AND the Paolettes BOTH! Truly disappointing! Gettin' too close to the AK Mafia, I guess, and probably Shailey's not quite broken the addiction to being conned!
DeleteInteresting timing.
DeleteIt is SO obvious that Sarah's grooming herself for a media job. Once her FoxNews gig is up, she'll be on the market for a talk show or some other such nonsense.
ReplyDeleteI think that's probably all she's ever REALLY wanted... just to be glamorous and famous. Sure, she thinks she's going to be President someday, but she'd be just as comfortable being a celebrity.
And the best part is? Sarah doesn't even understand how absolutely pathetic and unpatriotic her desires are.
I hear Looney Tunes is hiring. She would not even have to interview.
DeleteOOOh, that hand under her chin looking sideways and flirting, flirting, flirting.
ReplyDeleteJust what is needed in the White House. Real dignity and intelligence. SEX. She knows SEX sells.
A middle aged mean girl with a middle school mentality, flirting with any male over the age of 16.
Once a HOE, always a HOE. Glenn Rice, John McCain, and Todd's business partner got that same look. I'm just saying.
DeleteFirst my credentials: Mother of three grown male children. Over the years, I was a stay at home mom, working mom and a single mom. During that time I also completed an undergraduate degree, a master's degree and had a professional career while being an active participant in their education and upbringing. BTW - all three of my son's have attended college and two have advanced degrees:
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, this issue is not really about working moms vs. non-workling moms: This is about the GOP ideal woman - the breeder. Remember that Mrs. Romney provided her son with five male heirs as all good wives are supposed to do. Besides isn't that what the landed aristocracy want - Heirs?
Again this is not about a woman having to work to support a family or being able to afford the luxrury of staying home and personally raising her children: Ann Romney came from money and she married into money. SHe has never HAD to do anything but ride her horses and tell the cook what she wanted for dinner. (The maid that raised Mrs. Romney spoke publicly this morning.)
As for Sarah Palin - she neither comes from money nor did she marry into money. She made a choice to hire people to raise her kids. (when she was running for Governor more than one woman that came forward and spoke publicly about being the Palin's nanny.) How is that working out for you and your family Sarah? Ever win mother of the year?
shailey tripp is deleting her blog next week, she has already deleted her facebook and twitter accounts, go read her last blog post - she talks about ending blog, seems weird - what do you guys think about this, interesting that main stream media, IM, nobody really picked up this book and reported the story, do you think this was all a book of mistruths ? what do you all think ?
ReplyDeleteIt is a mystery to me. She says she puts helping people first. Children, people in human bondage jobs, sex workers. Someone can download her blog and comments. She was also getting weird things about Gino. She said she would give them to someone. If anyone would want that kind of thing, you can e-mail her and see what she would say now.
DeleteI hope she doesn't leave everyone hanging. I don't know what to think.
Don't be too hard on Sarah she is a Mama Grizzly after all. A Mama Grizzly is a stupid sow that can't distinguish between an actual threat to her cubs and some hapless hiker just walking by.
ReplyDeleteHey Sarah instead of racing over to rehash at FOX (we have already heard the opinions of those who MATTER) why not spend a day, or an hour with your little boy. After all, you are Mother of The Year in your own twisted mind.
ReplyDeleteI remember reading a while ago about Curt Menard (before his untimely death in a plane "accident) storming into Palin's office in Wasilla and reaming her out about neglecting her kids. He was concerned about Track (his son). Not too long after that, the "accident" happened. Palin claims to have raised good kids. I know no woman I have ever met had hopes for a houseful of illegitimate grandkids. It is really sad that they have to keep these numerous children hidden, what a way to live.
ReplyDeleteThe screen shot should say it all.... Cluster-fox, Monkey Queen, Lie of the Day.... ALL need to SHUT THE F*CK UP!!
ReplyDeleteSome thoughts on the Shailey thing:
ReplyDelete*She was threatened with a HUGE lawsuit and her lawyers advised her to delete everything
*She was paid off
*She was the recipient of a good job offer with health insurance (which she desperately needs for her kids) and it was believed that as a condition of her being hired, it would be best to remove so many references on the Net to her work as a prostitute (doesn't make sense as the info is already out there)
*Threats on her or her kids' lives are getting her nervous
*A man in her life promises to pay all the bills but "encourages" her to delete her blog (remember she has a history of falling madly in love with abusive, controlling guys)
*A mysterious "donor" is going to help her out (which she should be very suspicious of)
?Any other theories? I hope she responds to people asking about this at her blog today.
Also, I will be interested to see how long her book remains available for purchase. If it disappears completely I think we can assume the worst. Someone paid her to go off quietly into the night.
i think there are credibility issues with her, the media blackout, IM not picking up story in detail, other authors bypassing her, something was amiss.
Deletei think she lied and fabricated the story about todd being her pimp, yes she probably massaged him and might even have fucked him, but something seem to be not quite right with her pimp story. And when you read her book and her blog, you get all these stories about "almost" posionings, kidnappings, fucking cops then they arrest her, evidence being "erased", special computer forensic people being hired then nothing, people in the shadows out to "get her" "get her kids", the mysterious greg west dude, whoever BP execs she was fucking she said, then she even said in her blog a few weeks ago, she "knew" ted stevens well but would not elaborate (kinda incinuating she had fucked him too !!, come on here people) . Let's have some common sense her and realize that law enforcement (most often just good decent working honest folks) would have found something.
DeleteYes I think she was hooking for some cash, got into some nasty relationships and beat up, was homeless, etc.
I dont wish her any ill or whatnot, but I think this lady might have some mental issues and have a little trouble with the truth.
"And I know that I got a lot of e-mails today, a lot of text messages from apolitical girlfriends, some who have chosen to stay home through the years. Some for financial reasons, others...finances weren't really a factor in their choice to stay home."
ReplyDeleteChose to stay home for financial reasons? I don't understand. Is Palin telling us that some of her friends made so much money that they could not bring themselves to work outside the home and so decided to stay at home and raise their children? Can someone clarify?
VP
Now THAT is a great dodge!
ReplyDeleteThe question was: “Governor, many people were disappointed that you decided not to run for president this year, but are still hoping that you might one day run for the White House in the future. Roger Ailes was recently quoted as saying, ‘Sarah Palin had no chance to be President.’ What do you make of that?”
UPDATE: Mediaite reached out to Roger Ailes and he further clarified his remarks from last night’s UNC event in context::
He said, “When I hired most of the Republican contributors, none of them had any immediate prospects of becoming President —I wasn’t referring to any of their long-term prospects, including Governor Palin. I hired all of them because they made for good television at the time.
** Sarah Palin is young and nobody can predict the future.” **

Correction: Sarah Palin has passed her "sell by" date. One look will tell anyone that!
DeleteI was a single mother. Twenty years ago, when you still could, I remember writing checks based on what day they would clear my account. Every single purchase made for food, housing, utilities, clothing, gas....all were made with me first calculating how many days I had before the check would post. Some life huh?
ReplyDeleteI cannot even begin to describe the stress that I lived with, and how that translated into my relationship with my kids. They now tell me that I was a bitch, yes a bitch to live with. They now understand that I was never mad at them.....I was just scared shitless 90% of the time that I would not be able to provide for my family.
Sarah Palin can go fuck herself. The Romneys....well they're rich enough to tell the staff to go fuck themselves on their behalf, which if the pay isn't all that bad I might be inclined to do it for them.
What? No Sarah?

Pete Hoekstra On Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act: 'That Thing Is A Nuisance'
ReplyDeleteFormer Republican congressman Pete Hoekstra, who is now running to unseat Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.), weighed in on the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act on Thursday, saying the law was a "nuisance" that shouldn't be in place.
It shouldn't be the law," replied Hoekstra.
Obama signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act into law in 2009 and considers it one of the key achievements of his presidency. The law -- which was heavily opposed by Republicans -- provides women with more legal channels through which to pursue equal pay for equal work. Hoekstra, at the time a congressman, voted against the measure when it came up in the House of Representatives, believing that federal legislation was not needed and it would burden small businesses during the economic recession.

No time for Sarah. I'm more concerned about Shailey Tripp.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely hate Sarah Palin, et al, for what they have done to tear apart this country, making racism and sexism "cool" again, and lowering our country's national conscience into the gutter. Although I am an Atheist, I pray to her "God" that he steps in soon and shuts her up!
ReplyDeleteAs to Shailey Tripp discontinuing her blog - well, while her story needs to go mainstream and Todd needs to be convicted for his crimes, of late, I have felt unsure of what Shailey really is all about! I supported her whole heartedly but was really taken aback when I read in the book that she went out of state to discuss possible prostitution opportunities with Greg West AFTER she got out of jail, with court appearances pending - it didn't quite jive with "I admitted my mistakes"! Who does that? Someone truly woken up and brought back to reality about what going to jail might have done to her children?
Recently, talking about lack of money she mentioned being tempted to look into stripping jobs at clubs because the strippers make good money. I didn't interpret it to mean she was going to do it - but, really, to even have those thoughts after already going down that road before, with those kinds of people, in light of the "I was taken advantage of" meme made me feel something's not quite right with what Shailey Tripp
really truly believes in and aspires too.
I understand the dynamics of abused women/people - but, when you are a mother, single or not, one of the things you know, especially if you've ALREADY had the experience with that kind of "work environment" and barely escaped - to even consider something similar or that would bring you near that again says something about your priorities for the best interests of your children.
I believe everything Shailey said about Todd Palin and his prostitution ring - but to suddenly pull back and close down - YEAH, something better just came up! I hope for her sake, and most importantly, for her DISABLED CHILDREN"S sakes it's legit, and honorable. And that she's not taking a deal from Todd and Sarah Palin to bow out! Also funny, immediately after writing about the Paolettis - the next day - blog over! No connection? Yeah - I just got off the boat too - NOT!
And guess what? Most assuredly - prostitution, stripping, dealing drugs, etc - all "pay" good money, a lot more money than your run of the mill jobs that most women with children work at. I know that, as we all do - but, guess what - just like millions of women in bad situations - we opt to take those jobs, often 2 or 3 of them to get by, and we keep our pride, AND our children in our custody. It's not fun, glamorous, or lucrative - it's called doing it the hard way! The "easy" money is never "easy" nor is there ever not some kind of sleazy payback.
I wish her the best in the future, in spite of the deep misgivings I have as to what is behind this "pullback" from seeking justice, blah, blah, blah! Of all the "Palin" books that have come out - I have only bought Shailey's - solely because I felt she "needed" it the most - a poor single mother with 2 disabled children, treated unfairly, the whole nine yards! I wanted to support her "cause" - 2-3 months later, suddenly, a cheery "I'm movin' on" post!
Quite frankly, I'm leery of advise and/or commentary, from a from a woman who wears a crotch cross.
ReplyDeleteWith that said, I didn't watch the video, but the commentary here is quite fun to read.
read above comments, now shailey is being all secretive again and saying the blog has to go and its a secret now, but in time we will all know. Big secrets, being all sneaky and stuff. how about just some honesty and this is what is happening.
ReplyDeleteShailey got paid. Hard to turn down so much $$$ down when your children's safety has been threatened and you have been told exactly what to expect if you persist. People's curiosity will eventually be sated, the truth in this case WILL see the light of day.
