Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

Just an early morning reminder of how cool your President is.
His smile is so genuine, it is contagious. He is so down to earth, no wonder people love him. We are VERY fortunate that he is running for President again, after all the roadblocks and insults that are hurled at him and his family. This shows the type of man he is, he is no quitter.
My husband, who is very capable in nearly everything he does..,fine trombonist, an almost scratch golfer, excellent doubles tennis player, super LL umpire, and has been a respected chemical engineer for 35 years, also a terrific dad and husband...cannot do this with his fingers! I love it!!! Live long and prosper, indeed!!!
I laughed at Mitt Romney's lie yesterday that we had to wait after the election to find out what Obama would do. His lie was so far out there I laughed but today I feel angry. The Republican base seems to need to see people good or evil. Any words and lies to cast a demon is worshipped. This is how preschoolers think.
I love the fact that Nichelle Nichols went from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. telling her not to quit Star Trek in 1966 to meeting Barack Obama in the Oval Office in 2012. Dr. King spoke the truth that she opened a door. Great picture.
i found the article about this meeting...how lovely for both of them!....and i liked it on facebook. then i went to facebook, and the photo-icon next to the article is of McCain and Palin!!! i am furious! i love Mr. Obama and Nichelle...not dumb and dumber.
Aw.....I love Nichelle and will forever be grateful to her for giving many hours of sci-fi enjoyment. So glad she is still well and prosperous.
That photo is endearing. Too bad the Star Trek Next Generation series wasn't still on. They could have asked President Obama to play a wise diplomat character from the planet Obstruction. His arch-nemesis Cain 7-7-7 and cohort Santosorius from planet "Frothmosis" would have made a heck of an episode.
us girls appreciated Uhura for her beauty and for her skill as the communications officer. remember her and Spock working together on a bunch of electronics and wiring to save the Enterprise from sure destruction? He was totally counting on her expertise. Her ability made me proud of her. I am also proud of Mr. Obama.
His smile is always genuine and not fake like that moronic wicked witch of the north.
ReplyDeleteShe is not a witch a bitch maybe (ok more than maybe) but not a witch
Delete...and just an early morning reminder how UNcool your ex-governor is,
ReplyDeleteEat shit and die, Sarah!

ReplyDeletesupposedly leonard nimoy learned this gesture from a rabbi is that true
ReplyDeleteI saw an interview with him ages ago, and yes, that's what he said. A Rabbinic gesture of blessing.

ReplyDeletei hope that picture will be available for us fans to buy. that would really be neat.
ReplyDeleteClick on it. It's a reasonably high resolution picture. Not quite poster quality, but reasonably good.
DeleteYou can search for it on Google Images too. Here is the highest res version of it I have found so far:
