On January 20, 2009 Republican Leaders in Congress literally plotted to sabotage and undermine U.S. Economy during President Obama's Inauguration.
In Robert Draper's book, "Do Not Ask What Good We Do: Inside the U.S. House of Representatives" Draper wrote that during a four hour, "invitation only" meeting with GOP Hate-Propaganda Minister, Frank Luntz, the below listed Senior GOP Law Writers literally plotted to sabotage, undermine and destroy America's Economy.

The senior GOP members plotted to bring Congress to a standstill regardless how much it would hurt the American Economy by pledging to obstruct and block President Obama on all legislation.
These Republican members of Congress were not simply airing their complaints regarding the other party's political platform for four long hours. No, these Republican Congressional Policymakers, who were elected to do 'the People's work' were literally plotting to sabotage, undermine and destroy the U.S. Economy.
I am going to keep bringing this story up until EVERYBODY knows about it!
The Republicans are allowing Americans to go to bed hungry, fighting to keep the economy from recovering, and destroying the future of millions of their fellow citizens, for no other reason than because they hate and fear President Barack Obama, and are focused on nothing more than making sure he is a one term President.
THIS is the most important story happening right now and we need to spread it far and wide.
Please help me to do that. It really is a question of life and death for many of our fellow Americans around this nation.

We were having a discussion about the current political environment this weekend, and I mentioned the GOP sabotage that started on Inauguration Day. I was surprised that my husband had never heard of this meeting, as I had thought it was big news when I first learned about it. Please, everyone, spread this far and wide! These GOPigs would happily destroy the economy and cause great suffering to many citizens just to sabotage President Obama's administration. So vile!

I did a google search for author + book title and it looks like the media gave it minimal attention or google is burying the attention (does google play politics?). This IM post came up on page 6 of the search results.
I wish there was a way to not feel completely discouraged about the media and the information to which the majority of voters will be exposed.
If anyone else uses Google News as a home page, I'd be interested to know if your news page features articles about Pres. Obama. What I've seen over the last several months is that 'Mitt Romney' is listed under 'Top Stories,' 'U.S.,' and 'Elections' categories. 'Barack Obama' isn't included in any of the lists. After I specifically searched for 'Barack Obama' several times, 'Mitt Romney' was dropped from the 'Top Stories' listing. It seems odd that the President of the U.S. isn't getting enough press coverage to make the Google News page.
As I've posted the following many, many times throughout the past couple of years. We need to get out the vote and move the Republicans out of office - especialling in Congress and on the state and local levels. They are manipulative bastards all over the country and it's way past time people become more informed and get the people out to vote!

Of course, it's not something FOX will ever tell their blind viewers, but it will certainly be discussed about their participation in this scam and how people can be misguided and misinformed by only listening to one new source. History is going to really look down hard on this time period and the Republican party. It'll discuss the monumental advancement our country made in electing a black President, but it will also look at the backlash from the Republican party that will forever tarnish its name.

I quickly went to amazon to get this book only to find out that I already have it! Now, I will need to read it but I just know it is going to make very angry. Politics is so unhealthy these days, no matter which side you are on. But what the GOP is doing is criminal and the participants should definitely be charged with treasonous activity.

ReplyDeleteSince I first heard Thom Hartmann talk about it I have sent many e-mails, repeated twitter and face book posts, letters to news organization and posts on blog sites. I have even sent e-mails to several progressive radio and tv talk show hosts.
So far there has been no response from any of them or any news coverage. I will continue to post this information on as many web sits as I can as many times as I can until they block me.
I don't expect the pathetic excuses for journalist on network/cable tv talk shows about this but I really don't understand why the progressive sites are ignoring it.
I will continue to send e-mails to progressive radio and tv talk show hosts until they block my e-mails.
Haven't seen Luntz for a while, since I cut back on my outrageously expensive cable. He looks unwell, morbidly bloated, especially in the lower face and jaw area, like Breitbart.
