Saddle Ranch heckler goes forward with his lawsuit against Bristol Palin and Lifetime.

Courtesy of E Online:

Hanks claims that Palin defamed him by suggesting in an interview that he was the reason she moved back to Alaska, and he objects to his image being used in promos for the upcoming Lifetime series, Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp.

A source close to Bristol confirmed to E! News that the single mom has been sued and will move to get the lawsuit thrown out. Bristol's camp is convinced Hanks planned all along to heckle the 21-year-old to get attention, the source said, noting that Hollywood TV shares a parking lot with Saddle Ranch, the bar where it all went down.

(That kind of made ME suspicious as well. Suspicious that this was all a setup for the reality show that is.)

"Instead, she confronted him," and he's mad about how he came off in the video, the source added.

As for Hanks being angry that he has shown up in Life's a Tripp promos (Lifetime's cameras were following Bristol at the time, as well), his attorney exclusively told E! News that no one ever asked Hanks to sign a release. (I find this part hard to believe.)

Lawyer Michael Gulden said that his client was unaware that anyone was filming them until Bristol left Saddle Ranch with cameras in tow, and was later told by management that her crew had permission for limited filming of Bristol and her friends.

Hanks spoke to Lifetime parent A&E about the allegedly unlawful use of his image, Gulden said, adding that the network was ultimately unresponsive and they had no other choice but to file suit.

Hanks is suing for unspecified damages, alleging defamation, invasion of right to privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress and misappropriation of right of publicity.

"He felt this was the only way he could protect his rights," the attorney added. Hanks was "simply a patron at the bar."

"He was with friends when he observed that Bristol was on the mechanical bull," Gulden told us. "And several of the bar patrons began to talk about their general dislike of the politics of the Palins."

After falling off the bull, Bristol approached Hanks and asked him, on camera, if he was "a homosexual" after he informed her that he wanted her mother to go to hell.

Hanks asked Bristol why she assumed he was homosexual, and she replied, "Because I can tell you are." And, gesturing to a male companion, "That's a nice wife you've got there."

"Nice wife you've got there?" How did I miss THAT nasty comment?

But I certainly did, and if you listen closely at the 2:29 mark you can hear it too.

If this is legitimate, and I have been wrong all of this time, that is a fairly stunning piece of tape.

According to my daughter a number of things are out of whack here.

Number one the set they were filming on, the Saddle Ranch in this instance, should have been closed to the public (or at least the portion they were filming in should have been), while they were filming.

Number two the producers of the show should NEVER have allowed their "star" to approach this strange man like that without stopping her or having a security person close by to intervene if things got physical.

And number three the minute Mr. Hanks was caught on film he should have been approached by the producers to secure his permission to use the footage that contained the confrontation. It is almost impossible to imagine they would have let him leave without talking to him and getting a signed release. And in the time since then not to have done it seems like malpractice on the producers part.

If Hanks is being honest I am unable to understand HOW he could have not noticed the lights and cameras situated only few feet from him,  The guy is an agent, SURELY he has seen a camera crew before.

Something still feels hinky about this, but apparently the lawsuit is real and you can see the documents for yourself by clicking here.

If this is, as we have suspected, a publicity stunt it is a poorly conceived one. NOBODY looks good here. Not the heckler, Stephen Hanks, who comes off as an inarticulate asshole. Not Bristol, who comes off as a thin skinned raving bitch.  And not Lifetime, who seems to have acted in an incredibly unprofessional manner throughout this entire debacle.

All of the Palin family are nothing more than media whore buffoons who tap into the mental illnesses of their demented, fact-free followers.

Wow the special radar the palin children are blessed with:
      1. Willow can detect used pregnancy tests hidden in the house;
      2. Willow can detect down syndrome newborn children (although it can take doctors days to confirm)
      3. Bristol has gay-dar
      4. Bristol also apparently has sonar. Despite glaring lights and noise while being tossed around on a bull, she can detect exactly which person across the room was making the comments.

      1) There are a HELL of a lot of MALE/FEMALE couples there for this to be a GAY bar.

      I call bullshit.

      2) Brisdull's little stud in the blue button down shirt, has a microphone on the back of his collar.

      3) When Stephen (who may very well be a Palin hater, but why shouldn't he promote himself and make some serious $$$$$$ in the process) starts to call Bristol a "BITCH"! at the end,

      a female says, "STEVE, STEVE".

I think it was another producer who was trying to tell him to tone it down.

I think the "Situation" was created, and I think that Brisdull and Steven knew what was Supposed to happen,

but I think that "real" emotions did flare even though they were paralleling a "script".

Also, Brisdull knows that not only does this man 'probably' feels that way about her mother, but there are MILLIONS like him who think that Sarah Palin is the fucking devil.

It would've helped him if he DIDNT seek out the media and give a smug interview in reaction to the spat. Bristol was perfectly respectable. And he's quite misleading in his statements. She asked him if he was gay and was that the reason he hated her mom. She asked him that because she thought he was with his boyfriend, a man next to him.

Bristol is a stupid homosexual-hating douche. Her mother is a fine teacher. I can see it now....Sarah goes to her lawyer Thomas Van Flea and asks him, "How can we make it sound like Bristol is a christian victim of rape without actually coming out and accusing Levi of doing it and not get sued for insinuating it?"

THAT is how Sarah Palin's mind operates. These women need slapped down big time for all the lies they tell, for airing their dirty laundry constantly and for acting like their shit don't stink when in truth they stink to high heaven. And they wonder why Americans are sick of them. Even their reputations are for sale.

Oh, and please do explain WHY underage faggot-hating Bristol was in a gay bar with a camera crew in the first place. Too bad Sasha and Malia can't sue her for claiming to the world that they watched too many episodes of Glee. What is THAT supposed to mean? More gay-hating while lashing out at the President's children without actually saying it. I supposed Van Flea approved that also, too?

bristol was not respectable. a "respectable" girl would not have charged over to a man heckling her just to create a scene. generally a respectable girl doesn't acknowledge rude behavior in bars.

why would his being gay make him hate her mom? why did she assume he was gay just because there was a man next to him? there seems to be several men!!

neither of them were in the "right" by participating in that scene but again, not either of them were victims in the altercation.

if he did not sign a release nor had any knowledge he would be used for this show then he absolutely has a right to sue them and have them cease and desist using his likeness for her show. basic tv/film rules here.

just because she wanted some "drama" for her show does not make her right for engaging with him.

      -------------------------------------

She is real sharp to deduct all that in the brief scene we see in the tape. She did know she was going into a gay bar to perform. She wasn't yet 21 but she was with a crew that should have protected her.

She also knew people would be drinking and could get rowdy, that is why they chose the place. Performers and others get heckled all the time. It is part of the territory and Bristol was there for experience and to learn her craft.

The guys control the mechanical bull so that it shakes the girl's tits, and drunks stand around and yell rude things. She knew what she was getting herself into. Except she's such a narcissist she expected everyone to be admiring her new chin.

He was drinking in a bar, and yelled along with everyone else. She approached HIM and verbally assaulted HIM, not the other way around. The Palins are bullies, and this is old hat to them; she learned from Todd and Sarah, and has been bullying people her entire life.

Oh, and she didn't call him "gay," she called him a "homosexual," just barely stopping herself from using her normal word of choice, which as we have seen on Facebook is "fag."

I think you need to make that ... SHE. As in Bristol.

There are two stories here. I don't like either of them. Him nor her.

Yet, considering the Palin legacy for fabricating their truth and constantly lying, why in the heck would I believe or trust anything coming from Bristol. Or more likely, coming via her spokespeople, ghostwriter, her Mom.

Sorry, no way is Bristol the victim. Or the only victim. Or the complete victim.

Well, yes, complete, only, self-manufactured victim of herself. She does that kind of pretend and fake waaah victim quite well.

      Someone, please call the waaambulance.

It's all about: ka-ching. More money for the Palins. Plus an ego boost, why they're back in the news again. Even if it's negative. It's the Palin family drug. Shilling for attention, even if it's bad. Even when damn, yawn, STFU already, please, other people who have kids and want better role models than another Kardashian or Snooki (of the North).

And ... she is never smug? If that's respectable behavior, damn, I hope I don't ever meet any other women like her. Self-absorbed, conniving, immature, a scamming and complete fraud.

Plus, the Palin family homophobia is well known and documented. It's online and by respectable sources (which means more than Daily Caller, World Net Daily, Fox News or some other right wing noise sites).

So Bristol = good and a victim. Yeah, only in some people's wet dreams or fantasy life.

A perfectly respectful person would never have CONFRONTED THE MAN IN THE FIRST PLACE.

She should have ignored him; or if not; she could have said something along the lines of, "I'm sorry you feel that way," and LET IT GO. Confronting a stranger who is "heckling you" as you try to promote your public personality is exactly the WRONG thing to do. Bristol acted like an ignorant, uncivilized person who is trying to create drama for the purpose of publicity and popularity like a silly middle school girl.

She did not ask him if he was "gay." She asked him if he was "homosexual" - a term which might technically mean the same thing as "gay" in this context, but which has come to have much more negative connotations than "gay." "Homosexual" as a term for gay men is used almost exclusively by sex-obsessed rightwing and fundie groups as a disparaging term. So, naturally, this is the term that an ignorant hatemonger Bristol Palin would use.

Hanks had every right to seek out the media and give a smug interview. That's exactly what the Palins do - why can't he? Sarah Palin is on Fox regularly giving smug interviews and attacking people - she even gets paid for it. Why shouldn't Hanks?

Oh and BTW, I'm not gay - I'm 100% straight. And I hate Sarah Palin. As are, and as do, all my friends. I really don't make the connection between hating Sarah Palin and one's sexual orientation. The fact that that was Bristol's automatic assumption really speaks to her ignorance and bigotry.

      Think about it this way:

Brisdull is underage, so once she got done with the Bullriding “scene”…WHAT the HELL were they going to FILM HER DOING there??

There are: two camera people, grips and electric, a boom operator, a production assistant, the Producer/Director…and “the talent”: Steven and Brisdull.

That is a LOT of people to pay to show up and film a girl ride a bull. Even if it took TEN takes, it would be about an hour and a half, tops.

These crew members get paid (GO UNION!) for a 10 hour day, whether or not they work the whole 10 hours.

That SHURE is a lotta money to spend just to Cross Your Fingers and HOPE against HOPE that something “EXCITING” happens, eh?

And what do you know? In this scene Brisdull is able to:

1)Defend her mother against disgusting liberal attacks (haters!)

2)Stand up for herself (she is really SO shy!)

3)Place her righteous self against a “sinner” homosexual (*I* have a baby and a TV show b/c of "my sin", HA!)

4)Is able to merit sympathy by crying about the cruelty of others vs. her and her family.

      (bbbbblubber blubber.

"I HATE being a single mom"

      vs.

"HAHAHA, Levi! No, you can't see Tripp. I don't KNOW where he is, but you can't have him anyway!"

      "This is SOOOO tough!"

      vs.

"Damn, this a Kick-Ass Mansion! How much are we getting paid to film this? Seriously?! AWESOME!"

Sarah, Jr. as nasty and inarticulate as Sarah Senior, but not as still spined as Mama Grizzly. This word salad is hilarious!

“I think if someone’s going to talk poorly about my mom, I am going to pick and choose my battles and a battle like that, I chose to confront him and see what the real problem was,” she said. “I’m excited for viewers to see the real me in that, because I’m sitting there all tough and shaking and I’m acting tough and instantly when it’s over, it’s like, ‘OK, there’s the real Bristol,’ because I am calling my boyfriend, I’m calling my mom. ‘Ah, get me out of here,’ like, people are going to see the real Bristol in this show.”

As well as inarticulate. Really, Lifetime is asking for trouble. I don't know why they don't let the Palins know that they have to get permission to film others. You know perfectly well if they had a signed consent this guy wouldn't even have tried this... but Palins are stupid and people who want to film them, evidently admiring them, are even stupider.

It appears that Lifetime shot the video of Bristol over so that when she talked, she appeared reasonable and mature, talking in complete sentences, in a lower voice. Compare that with the footage of the vapid girl walking through the Hollywood Hills mansion, who still sounds like a teenager.

If Mr.Hanks lawyers are on the ball, I suggest that there are other incidents where Bristol issues homophobic slurs (on a boy's Facebook, when he had the nerve to criticize Sarah Palin's Alaska). There is video of Sarah, Todd and Bristol confronting a teacher in Homer, Alaska, who had the nerve to hold up a large sign, "Worst Governor Ever." There are other filmed incidents where Bristol comes off looking like a brat.

What is it with the Palins that no one is allowed to criticize them? Sarah used to open her speeches with "Do you love your freedoms?" What about the teacher's freedom of speech, Hanks freedom of speech or the boy's right to criticize a lame reality show on his Facebook.

The scene of Bristol crying to her mother "It isn't fair" is so juvenile that it makes one wonder what that kid was doing alone in Los Angeles to start with. Sarah and Bristol have chosen to lead public lives as celebrities. Criticism comes with the paycheck. If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

Another reminder to Bristol: When you go into a bar, there are people who drink and say rude things in loud voices. Unless you provide the audience, you have no control over what people will say about you or your family, especially if your film people have disrupted everyone else's good time. It wasn't a wise choice to show Bristol riding a mechanical bull when the theme of her show is that being a single mother is such hard work. What was she doing, prancing around a bar when she had a child to take care of? The videos seem to show Bristol riding a bull, shooting guns, and living in a mansion-- gee, I didn't know that being a single teen mother was such hard work.

  18. The Massey brothers should be suing Bristol, too.

But I suppose they decided it was just best to cut their losses after this rogue videotaping by Bristol (who'd probably been prompted to do it by her mother), give her the videotapes of what they'd done so far just to get rid of her, and go their own way.

I'm sure they felt 'selling' their footage would be the only option to recoup their investment dollars and protect their future success by distancing themselves from an ever growing anti-palin audience. Now the validity of the Hanks lawsuit may hinge on the comparison of the original 'Massey tape' to the 'edited version' being touted on Bristol's little promotional tour. Holy Zapruder batman!

All I can say is if this is real, then more power to him. If it's not, then sorry, there's still no way I am ever going to watch a Bristol Palin "reality" show.

Bristol is less meaningful to me than Dance Moms, which on a scale of one to ten is a negative 1000.

Seriously Bristol, why not make a reality show based on the concept of getting a top flight education and making something MEANINGFUL out of yourself? (And no, Snooki is NOT meaningful)

BE a damn role model instead of attempting to glorify an utter lack of education, talent and motivation wrapped in patently silly manufactured "reality" all on the basis of being the daughter of a demi-celebrity! It's sad and pathetic.

WHO exactly is supposed to relate to or be interested in someone who has done nothing but accidentally be born the daughter of a d-list celebrity and is put in an obviously manufactured situation like being a completely experience-less unqualified person who magically got an undeserved job at a charity and just happens to be living in a house that 90% of America could never hope to afford?

Yes, being a single mom is incredibly difficult. No, you still have not experienced that in any meaningfully real sense. Having a rich Mom to bail you out and siblings to pass off the responsibilities on, and People Magazine "exclusives" to bail you out financially disqualifies you from any experience with "reality".

Let me see the episode where yo9u have to apply for state mediacl aid for Tripp because your minimum wage job(s) don't provide health coverage or pay you enough to afford it yourself. Then maybe I'll be impressed.

Go to school. Make something meaningful of yourself. Stop displaying yourself as a cheap, meaningless, flavor of the minute pop-culture publicity whore like your Mom. History IS going to make a mockery of her the way WE do now.

The footage may have been sold to Lifetime. Still, Lifetime would have a legal team scouring every legality during editing before airing the program?

Everything that is touched by the Palins seems to be handled so unprofessionally. Bits and pieces of what should be normal planning get mixed in with abnormal planning and a Palin project always results in a he said/she said debacle. There are always 2 or 3 different angles to each story and the Palins always seem to come out on top.

Asking Hanks if he was gay had absolutely nothing to do with the situation. The reasoning used by Bristol that she thought he would be because he hated her mother doesn't even make sense. Her quip about the guy being his wife is petty, mean, nasty and the guy next to him did nothing to her to deserve that.

Her idea of fighting fire with fire didn't work. Her big christian sweat shirt didn't do justice to her 'walk'. She should have just walked away, and turned the other cheek. She can't have it both ways. Wearing all the christian paraphernalia, telling the public that her faith is the most important thing, then acting like the devil doesn't convince anyone; and returning insults obviously didn't make her feel any better about herself. She left crying and calling her 'mommy' and 'boyfriend'.

This girl's behavior is a call for help. Real help.

And guess what I assumed the cameras that were focusing on the group in question was a family photog of some type recording a family event. The place was still open to the public and yet we were later asked if the film from our side of the restaurant could be used for a commercial. My husband asked that we be allowed to view it first and we later agreed. Yup our family ended up front and center in a local commercial since we were apparently a better clip than those they had initially started filming. Thank goodness we were all dressed nicely and our kids were well behaved.

Bristol had an entourage with her. She was not alone like she claimed as she testified in the court case in Tennessee. Remember when the Secret Service was protecting the family and Bristol claimed they failed her, she could not so much as call her parents as she was so isolated and abandoned in the woods (actually next to the Best Western). The secret service was complicit with those lies. We know Bristol has no problem lying when under sworn testimony.

Riding a mechanical bull and getting into a fight in a bar doesn't seem to be the right image of a girl, whose guide is the word of the Bible. I have a hard time believing this whole thing is a publicity stunt. While they can spin the "Are you gay?" line to something relatively innocent. But the "wife" line is just plain anti-gay nastiness. The producers would be insane to have that out there for public consumption.

May it started out that he was a plant and he either wasn't happy with the size of his paycheck or how much Bristol went after him in the media after the fact. We all know the thing was edited and she was reshot with more coherent, calm words, but Mr. Hanks knows how it went down and is throwing it in Bristol's face.

I'm sure they view it as Bris standing up for herself and Hanks deserving of all this bad press. I bet no one figured on Hanks pressing the issue because he initiated. After seeing the original clip when this first occurred, I had the feeling that nobody had any clue of what they were doing. It all seemed pretty fast and loose where Hanks could have been part of it -though what idiot would sign a waiver then play his part so lame? If it was scripted and he is any kind of actor, I would think he could have come up with at least one solid reason for calling the evil one evil? Almost Every. reality show is union these days (and an MB show, for Certain!), so they are DEFINITELY getting releases signed.

      They are also making sure to get their money's worth from their crew;

Do we ever get to see these "friends" of hers (um, WHO did she go to the bar with?)

The best case scenario for Bristol is that this will get 2 episodes like Big Hair Alaska. It will go to DVD in time for them to sell at the RNC convention they were shut out of. Boy! That will show the GOP.

Stephan Hanks must be thrilled that his image can go on and on with the Pbots. Since this is as thrilling as it gets for them, this should be a money maker. They can watch over and over and get real worked up over Hanks. How dare him hurt the golden one spawn of Queen Ester. Hanks life is in danger and it will only get worse. They will never let go.

If this wasn't scripted, how did B know who to confront? She goes from being on the floor after the bull ride to knowing exactly who shouted shit at her? Sounded like lots of people were shouting, yet she goes right to her mark. They probably already placed some blue tape on the floor to show her where to place her feet in front of Hanks. The lawsuit could have waited until the show was done, unless part of the suit is to stop the show from airing. So why did decide to file the suit just now? There's money in it for him someone, and not the lawsuit $$.

That reminds me of all of the stalker and death threats that Sarah Palin claimed to have received. She reports them to the media, but not to the police. Bristol is fighting Levi in the media instead of in a courtroom, where their issues belong. I hope that Levi collects enough taped evidence to show that Bristol is exploiting Tripp commercially, insulting Levi when told by the court not to, and that she chose to go to a bar instead of taking care of her child. All that Levi needs is a very good lawyer.

The way Bristol immediately attacked Mr. Hanks as being homosexual, then comments about his remarks about her mother, reminds me of the way that Kristy performs her part here in the comments at IM.

First off, make a crack about how the commenter is a (pick one) loser, hater, jealous, immature, unhappy person, etc. Then the defense of whatever Palin the comment is about. Then one more insult just before signing off. Almost always the same form.

Perfectly respectable 7:06? Abstinence touting teen mother Bristol is riding a bull in a bar (where is her darling son who has no one but her to care for him?) frequented by gay patrons and responds to a heckler by asking (in a sneering tone) if he is gay. There is no angle from which to view this where Bristol looks respectable. She is a complete hypocrite for promoting abstinence given her behavior prior to and post giving birth to her child. Her behavior is the opposite of the message on the sweatshirt she chose to wear to the bar. Her confrontational and condescending demeanor would be more appropriate had she not sunk to snide bigoted comments. Hanks, some guy drinking in a bar, was out of line (though many are in complete agreement with his statements!), but Bristol, fully aware she was being filmed, sought out this guy to verbally insult him. Yes, he was acting like a drunk in a bar, but Bristol sunk far lower by hauling her ostentatious mini-Palin sideshow into a bar where patrons would most likely strongly resent her mother's politics and then claim the victim when someone rose to the bait. This is just another in the ever increasing list of Palin failures.

One of the funniest thing here is the fact that Bristol is wearing a tee shirt with a huge cross on it like she's a church-goin' girl. Meanwhile, she's publicly stated that she and her family are too busy to go to church.

Have you heard the term "court costs"? The judge assigns the court costs to one side or the other or divides them between the two. If the government paid all court costs for every case, we would have become the United States of China a long time ago in our litigenous society. As it is, we're nearly there anyway thanks to The Shrub.

    2. Anonymous11:55 AM

Court costs don't come anywhere near the full cost of a lawsuit (think: wages for bailiffs, court reporters, clerks, judges, support staff; not to mention the electricity to keep the lights, A/C, etc. on), nor are they always assigned to one side in a legal battle. A case may be dismissed early on (prior to a hearing), but the judges' law clerks may have already put in 20+ hours. The true costs of our judicial system are not borne by the few parties that use it, but by all tax payers.

"Bristol's camp is convinced Hanks planned all along to heckle the 21-year-old to get attention, the source said, noting that Hollywood TV shares a parking lot with Saddle Ranch, the bar where it all went down."

Hanks claims he was a regular patron and he was just there when he heard Bristol was in the room. The Palin version has Hanks planning all along, as if it was prearranged and he went rogue. It is definiently a mystery to hear the film crew did not have a release signed. That would be a simple matter to come out in discovery, if this goes that far. What about the others in the scene?

If he quietly goes away and this is dropped we know it is a hoax. Hanks reputation is in shambles and he will never work in that town again.

"(Hanks) was later told by management that her crew had permission for limited filming of Bristol and her friends." If Hanks had no clue that he would be the main draw and co-starring in "Life's a Tripp," that would be a nightmare. He deserves millions.

What would you do, say you were in your regular rowdy hang out getting lit as you were known to do around the neighborood? As Hank's version of this story goes you were filmed and used for others to make money. The group using your image in the worst way (after you apologized) was promoting propaganda that was opposite to your faith or core beliefs. Professionals like A&E/Lifetime did not bother to get or check out the release forms? What other unsavory business did they conduct? If Bristol is an innocent victim, that would come out with the legal proceedings. The money is with the networks and production companies.

What a role model Bristol is! She is teaching Tripp to be as confrontational as her own mother and father. Instead of ignoring insults and taking the high road, Bristol is more than happy to pick a fight-- not only with Hanks, but with a school teacher in Homer or by teaching her son to stick out his tongue at a photographer.

When Bristol confronted the guy by asking if he was gay, she meant to insult him. His sexual orientation had nothing to do with his insulting Sarah Palin. Bristol had a camera crew with her, and bars usually have security. The most mature response would have been to ignore Hanks and let others take care of the problem. Responding added some excitement to her otherwise boring video.

Only the paid trolls or church loyalist will say she is alright. They claim she can write, like with the Bristol blog (in reality that is Nancy French who writes for her).

I'm confused: were there TWO camera crews in the bar, one from HollywoodTV and one from whatever crazyass outfit has been pushing for a Bristol "reality" program for two years now?

If so, I assume that the HollywoodTV people were tipped off by the Bristol people, which is why they were there. Since it's a gay bar (surely thee are mechanical bulls in non-gay bars?) they probably expected it to be full of people who aren't fond of homophobic Palins. In other words, they were therefore actually hoping for some drunk hecklers. I think Bristol was planning to go after one of the hecklers.

When you watch the clip, she gets up, SMILING, and makes a beeline for the bar. Then she veers off, as if someone with her were pointing her toward a different heckler. She is still smiling as she walks up to him and begins what is obviously a practiced bullying routine, as we saw in the "Worst Governor Ever" clip.

This scenario actually makes sense: the film crew and Bristol were hoping for a heckler she could confront. Her crew points her at Hanks. Hanks is drunk, incoherent, and clueless.

Why they never bothered to get release forms signed is beyond me, unless they're so arrogant they were sure he wouldn't sue.

It makes as much sense as Bristol's exchange with Hanks. He criticized Sarah Palin and Bristol responded by asking if he was gay. One thing has nothing to do with the other. All that Bristol knows is to act out to get attention. She must have been doing it from an early age.

Reasonable, mature people-- who have the responsibility of raising a child do not got to bars, especially if they are underage, they do not pick fights in a bar, and they do not call people gay to provoke a fight in a bar.

For that matter, if Bristol really wanted to work for a real charity, she didn't need to go to LA. There are charities that serve single pregnant girls in Anchorage. She went to LA to make a video because she has no other talents or abilities or training except to act out in public, get attention and hope to be paid for it-- just like her mother.

She is underage, in a gay bar and she approached him. I hope he is right that she bought her house two months before this incident. If she did, she lied that she left because of him.

Bristol is just an up and coming brown shirted thug - she'd be a great guard at one of the death camps her mother would set up to sequester gays if she were elected to another office somewhere.

Sarah has spent the last 3 years loudly complaining about her kids being "attacked" by the lamestream media and the liberals yet thinks nothing of letting them loose in LA which is full of "haters." Wow and wow, I have never seen anything like it. Boggles the mind, yet there are still people out there who defend and support this woman, how is that possible? Gag!

Bristol's goal in life: For people to see how tough and smart she is, to see the 'real' Bristol - always ready to defend her mom. But she wants to do it in the laziest way possible, without an education, or without a skill. She wants to climb all over other people who studied and worked to achieve opportunities that Bristol was handed on a silver platter without having to lift a finger. But, she never learned to do things the proper way.

It's embarrassing to watch her speak as she doesn't elaborate on anything. Like, in Fox's interview this morning, what did you do in LA? Her response: "I worked for a charity". Then silence. No description of what the charity was for, it's name, whether she was a paid worker or a volunteer, and what her tasks were? What actually does she do at that charity? I think she has some inability to communicate properly and it may have something to do with a slight autism or some other disability, which I've seen in kids that display these same symptoms.

    1. Why didn't the interviewer ask those questions? Especially since Ms.Palin seems unable to articulate exactlly what it is she does for a living.

I think Bristol was brought up thinking because she is a Palin and wears God as an accessory she can say and do whatever she wants..she will always play the victim exactly like her mother does. Bristol saw Sarah do it when she was Mayor and Governor, you bully people then cry victim..they did it with the trooper, Joe M , the ethics complaints, the fake stories about her girls being threatened, they guy in the airport, the teacher, etc. Now Bristol is just practicing what she has been taught, do whatever you want and if someone says anything remember you are the victim..sick people and terrible parenting.

I doubt that this was an impromptu encounter with Hanks and the lawsuit is ginned up for publicity purposes. Hope the lawyer comes up on ethics charges and looses his license.

The other promo clip you posted yesterday ----- it was so interesting that the only cute thing that Tripp had to say in the big mansion was about bidets. And then Bristol had to share with the audience the cute little story.

That good xtian single mama goes on and on about all the bidets in the mansion. Are we all to envision her as a practitioner of great personal hygiene?

  83. Wouldn't he have had to sign a consent form/release for the his footage to be aired? If he didn't agree, then he has grounds to sue.

Even if he did, he might have grounds if they edited it to damage his character. You know, the James O'Keefe touch.

Without reading the comments yet, please forgive me if this was already addressed.

On VH1 they posted a story about a guy on "survivor" who happened to go to Saddle Ranch bar while they were filming a reality show about the place. He said that in the area where filming may be going on, they had signs posted and asked for consent forms to be signed should their image be used in filming.

The bar isn't a "gay bar", but may have gay patrons.

After watching the clip, the guy was across the room, away from filming, and the film crew almost did a figure 8 to get to where this guy was sitting, so maybe he has a legitimate gripe. Maybe he's asking for a jury trial so that the lack of signed consent can come out, along with the lie about having to leave L.A. she said in "In Touch" magazine?

Either way, they both deserve each other - it's kind of a wash, though she's a hypocrite for wearing that sweatshirt and going to an establishment that serves alcohol.

I couldn't hear the "wife" comment, but his friend DID react pretty quickly after that point of the clip.
