Well great, now I'm afraid of feminists.

Wow, child killing lesbian witches, who knew?

And here I thought they just wanted to be treated equally to their male counterparts.

Pat Robertson is now and always has been, a bigoted, ignorant, religious fanatic who perfectly exemplifies why more and more young people are leaving religion behind. I would LOVE to see the demographics of his followers. I would be willing to bet the vast majority of them are of the older generations - like him.
Fanaticism for ANY reason is dangerous!
We need to live by only four words: Love, Understanding, Compassion, Forgiveness and Tolerance.

Not all old people are fools or fanatics. Many seniors were once Flower Children or hippies - many are still progressives.

I agree that the majority of Robertson's followers MAY be older, but they do not represent all seniors or middle-aged people Robertson fans are still in the minority labeled: fanatics!

Some men will do or say anything to keep women legally inferior so that they have power over them.
What bothers me is the women who cooperate with those kind of men. Equality is not a bad thing guys, come on.

Yeah, what is it with women who allow these kind of guys to make them feel inferior.

I'd love to know Pat's relationship to his mother, grandmother, aunties, and girlfriends. Not a picture picture, I think.

    1. And Jesse our intrepid blogger lives such a sheltered life, doesn't he? Heh heh...

J'know, by my definition of witch, which involves moving the world maximally while making minimum footprints, the greatest witch of all appropriately is said to have had twelve disciples...

And of course met with the accustomed fate.

And what about the feminists' practice of performing mostly unwanted penisectomies on sleeping men as part of their gruesome lesbianic rituals? (See: Bobbit, Lorena) Too bad Pat Robertson wasnt successful running for president. I bet Jeebus would be on Amercia's side today, if we had an ultra conservative right wing xtian televangelist as our leader. Let's hope....

  6. Umm...Gryphen did you notice that your "tags" make a very interesting sentence that explains Pat Robertson to a "T"?

"Christians, feminists, Pat Robertson, stupid, televangelist"

All you have to add is the words "think" and "a"...

"Christians feminists think Pat Robertson's a stupid televangelist"

    LMAO!!!

Gee Pat, is it feminism that encourages men to beat their wives, abandon their children, pass legislation disallowing equal rights, cause the Bush recession and turn children into sex slaves and child soldiers?

It wasn't a woman who betrayed Jesus with a kiss.

Very good! Sure like all your points - the last in particular.

All woman (Eve) supposedly did was to "eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge." Ah, gees, shucks, you mean she sought answers, tried to use her brain. Well, no wonder she got into trouble. Them menfolk, they don't like any uppity females, hehe.

Apparently, there was a petition on FaceBook supporting the Equal Rights Amendment (thanks to the White House!).

It may have expired, but it is worth looking at and then asking for a new deadline.

Only three more states are required to ratify it. Women and men who love women unite!!!

I don't believe Eve did anything like that. I believe that was a made up story to make women feel bad and inferior. Labor pain isn't our punishment, please.

There were times in history where women ruled the land. I think men got together and had a Rove moment -- let's write a book about evil and blame it all on the woman.

Don't forget Salem, women were blamed on witchcraft for anything weird that happened to anyone. Sick.

  9. Gryph.... I understand fully WHY you posted something spewed by Pat Robertson, but please stop. Many believe this ugly phenomena of right-wing hate is a relatively new sprout growing in our society but it's not.. Pat Robertson represents a slice of the most insidious parts of right-wing hate, that's continuing indoctrination.

Generation after generation of haters anoint individuals to be the bearer of the message of hate from generation to generation and oversee two things in their lifetimes.

    1) Spreading the message of hate and converting as many losers to the cause as can possibly be accomplished in one persons lifetime. They have all recourses, money and minions at their disposal they require.....
    2) Find the NEXT messenger of hate to carry the indoctrination forward.

That's why we can never rid ourselves of this layer of ignorance, distrust, paranoia, fear, and overall inability to deal with the issues fracturing our society versus how they get their next 12-park of Colt 45.

Pat Robertson is one of those anointed spickets for continuing the spread of hate, lies and a way of life that belongs to die a quick and ugly death.

Cut him off.. Leave him suffocating in his own hot air... he plays on the weak, dis-possessed, fearful and the lost. He is their worst enemy... FORCE him to vanish.

Hate, Intolerance and Lies are the cornerstone of the religious right. Money, Money, and more Money is the only reason they preach to the gullible and ignorant masses.

6:55 When Robertson was running for President it came out that he was married either a few weeks before or after his child was born. When asked about that He replied they were "married in their hearts".Also He was sexually harassing women when he was in the service. He had no comment for that.Reporters were literally chasing him thru a parking lot shouting Questions and he was trying to run away and avoid them .Another example of Christian family values . Excuse me while I vomit!

  15. Hmmm-my 84 year old mother became a Feminist AFTER divorcing my dad when I was 10,and she was in her 40's.All six of her kids are still alive and in their 40's and 50's.I was raised to be a Feminist, and it had nothing to do with my getting divorced at 28(being unhappy in a going nowhere marriage and wanting a better life for me and my sons did). Both of my sons are still alive and in their mid to late 20's.I may have flirted with the study of Wicca, but, opted to never practice it,or any other religion-all the while, maintaining my strong belief in God/Goddess/Higher Power.Neither me,my mother or divorced sister ever "became" Lesbian, because the three of us were BORN heterosexual. So,those words are just plain wrong. As for their other theory on kids of single mother households growing up to be criminals and drug addicts? Nope. Both my sons with double degrees. One a Valedictorian,Deans List and Who's/Who's member;the other one? H.S. Honor Roll and double degrees too-and achieving that with dyslexia. So,if I were a man I would tell the Pat Robertsons of this world to suck my dick. But,since I am a proud Feminist female,I will opt instead to tell them to take their words and theories and go to Hell.

I think Pat Robertson is obnoxious. I watched him one time on tv years ago. But I turned the channel just as soon as I heard him say something that was not according to scripture. His statement above promotes hate towards women who want equality, not love.
