Just a little something to ponder as you slowly drift off to sleep.

Meteor shower over Denver, Colorado
“... informed ignorance provides the natural state of mind for research scientists at the ever-shifting frontiers of knowledge. People who believe themselves ignorant of nothing have neither looked for, nor stumbled upon, the boundary between what is known and unknown in the cosmos.” ― Neil deGrasse Tyson, Origins: Fourteen Billion Years of Cosmic Evolution

I like it. Doubt and informed ignorance can be a catalyst for expanding one's mind.

    Sweet Dreams, everyone!

Video of Paul Ryan 2002 during the Bush Admin, speaking to Congress in SUPPORT of Stimulus to aid the unemployed, to create jobs to get people back to work in order to recover the revunue lost from unemployment and that this aid has to continue even as the economy begins to recover -- OMG!! I have the vapors -- get me my smelling salts quickly!!

I missed it the other night, but son got up to see it. We live out on the dark plains and the meteor showers are spectacular away from the city lights. That looks like it was taken on Lookout Mountain with the city lights in the background. Thank Gryphen. Love the meteor showers!

Shannyn Moore has spoken up on her blog, for the first time in eleven months. After this long an absence, it's got to be something important and—in my humble opinion as someone who's been a coast dweller for 71+ years—it is. Vote Yes on Alaska Ballot Prop 2 http://shannynmoore.wordpress.com/2012/08/19/alaska-ballot-prop-2-yes/

    Thank you, Ted@ 1018.
It is becoming ever more important to educate others to be aware of the monsters that have been released from any previous constraints by the SCOTUS decision of Citizens United. They are bringing us back to the days of the Robber Barons of the 19th Century.
