College republicans are not the same as the few old racists who can't let go of decades of "how it used to be."

I'd say the thing about college democrats and their differences from hardened people who've lived on welfare and for democratic leaders for decades.

The fringe isn't to judge, and it doesn't make up a majority.

More and more Moderate people are beginning to understand how effed both parties are.

Well, it's clearly not a real bumper sticker. You can tell it's make at home on one of those full-size sticker sheets. No bumper sticker is that see-thru.

If I were creating a profile for suspects, it would probably be an anti-Republican student. It's a little too snarky for anyone else.

There is nothing too snarky for the GOP: they are now pushing the meme that Obama is gay. I mean, they couldn't get more than their three dozen idiots to believe the birth certificate crap, so now he must be gay because he roomed with a guy in college.
Hm. Mitt bullied young men in private school: is he gay?

Proof? Oh wait, there is no proof because you just lied. I hope you don't pray to God with that lying mouth.

Also, the false equivalency about both parties is just that. False, lying, and lazy.

    1. I grew up in an ultra conservative household. I was put to work at age 10 (and when I say put to work I mean it-- it took two years for my patents to realize they should pay us because, as they put it, me andmysiblings worked harder than any if their employees). I was taught that people on welfare had no self respect, no work ethic, and we're trailer park losers.
My husband spent the first 6 years of his life with his biological mother: who is a legitimate crack whore. He was beaten daily, pushed through windows/doggie doors to help his mom break into houses, and picked through garbage to find food to eat. When his severely handicapped father (paralyzed and had half his back replaced with titanium due to an accident) finally got custody of him, their family was on food stamps and other government assistance due to their situation.
      Two completely different upbringings.

    2. (allow me to continue, my phone is acting up and I couldn't finish my post).
Two completely different upbringings. Today we're a military family. My husband is in for the Instructor of the Year running-- that's a nationwide award, they only pick one. He has worked very very hard to get where he is and he is not comfortable taking handouts.
We are both supporting President Obama's re-election!! It is wrong to assume someone's whole hack ground based on their political affiliation. Just because I'm a democrat does not make me some lazy fuck who wants the government wiping their own ass. It means I support most of the democratic platforms. Gay marriage is a big one for us-- we know too many who ate giving everything they have in the military, offering their sanity and their lives and yet republican lawmakers continue to treat them as second class citizens.
I have met those college republicans. They hold to the values their republican patents taught them, helped along the way by psychos like Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, and Rush. The republican party is one giant religious group masquerading as a legitimate political party when all they want to do is turn all of America into one giant Christian Church.

Amen. I saw a transcript of a speech that could have been given by any current GOP 'leader,' only it was from 1932 and spoken by Hitler. These people plan to take over America for the corporations. They plan to use Jesus as their messenger, while spitting on everything he taught. We must get out and vote in droves, and make it clear this is not going to happen. Not here. Not ever.

The misplaced fear and arrogance of that poster is astounding.

    Hmm, I thought it's a snark.

Yet I'd not put it past any tea/republicans to be so white power proud. They really don't have to speak in coded talk or tea dog whistles anymore when it comes to their racism.

I'm surprised there is not any statment on that sign about their non-inclusive big tent being only for (white) men, heterosexuals and only for certain types of Christians and Christianity. More tax cuts. USA, USA, USA.

Hoax. College politics is just a minor bureaucracy for either party and you'll have idiots on both sides that don't have the sense to volunteer for whichever party has the most and best looking women on campus involved. Unless you're in law school or a senior graduating in Poli Sci, if you have time to be engaged actively in politics on campus at more than a club level, then it's very likely that you aren't working to pay your way through school.

Considering the candidates during the GOP primaries, showing off their "totally awesome" large homogenized Vitamin D enriched milk white progeny, I'm inclined to think it's less of the former and more a policy platform.
BUT, considering the changed demographics of the population in America, with a shrinking white population and growing hispanic, asian, and people of all shades of brown, no wonder they want voter suppression, self deportation, and stopping people from immigrating. Add the "welfare queen" and "Food Stamp President" memes and you have today's GOP.
