Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

As Americans celebrate our holidays of giving, perhaps we could learn more about TRUE giving from this amazing man.
That really put a smile on my face.
I especially appreciated that he had to go against his own cultural and religious beliefs in order to reach out to those in need. That is huge and definitely a lesson to us all.
What bothers me as I watched this is, I feel the GOP is trying to create a "brahmin" class and an untouchable class here in the U.S. And they will not be as eager to break with their elitist beliefs and help the poor that they have created
Mr. Krishnan is truly a hero who has forsaken his personal, class beliefs in order to fulfill a larger, universal belief. That all people are equal and deserve dignity and the minimums of existence. Food and love. Mr. Gandhi would be very proud.
That was wonderful.
ReplyDeleteIt should be required viewing for the GOP.
