Bristol Palin is not exactly helping to quell gossip about her family.

Courtesy of Bristol's Facebook page.
This picture of three unconscious children was labeled "My tired babies!"

Now even given that perhaps the little girl in the front is NOT supposed to be included as one of Bristol's "my babies," it is still the kind of caption which causes people to once again revisit the idea that perhaps Bristol is Trig's true mother, a notion that I was lead to believe was false several years ago by insiders.

Like many of these supposedly "smoking gun" pictures (such as Mercedes MySpace photo which referred to Trig as her "new baby brother,") this could simply be a case of reading more into a photo than it deserves.

It does however give me an excuse to relay a bit of information that I received at the end of last week about a Bristol sighting in Wasilla. (I have one or two friends in the area, who occasionally send me e-mails about rumors or actual eyewitness accounts of Palin sightings. Most of them are pedestrian, but occasionally you get a bit of news.)

Anyhow last week at the Wasilla Wal-Mart (I know, where else right?) Bristol was seen out shopping with Tripp and an unidentified woman with a small infant. (Now before you start I DID ask for an estimation as to the the age of the baby, but was assured that it was much too young to have been the DWTS baby.)

This sighting was not exactly news worthy, except for the fact that apparently Bristol had succumbed to the "Wal-Mart mom" syndrome, in that she was demonstrating selective hearing and could not hear Tripp repeatedly calling out "Mom" over and over again.

According to my source Bristol was completely focused on checking her phone and occasionally interacting with her friend, and took virtually no notice at all of Tripp who was desperately trying to get her attention.  It was so bad that my source, who was quite close, actually considered saying something, right up until they realized who it was standing in line ahead of them that is.

Now you can't really judge a parent from simply witnessing one trip to Wal-Mart, but let's face it we have already seen Bristol's parenting on frightening display during her crappy unreality show. Apparently off camera it is equally ineffective and insufficient.

Keeping that incident in mind perhaps you would enjoy seeing Tripp when he IS being cared for appropriately by a loving family. (For those who are Facebook friends with Sunny, you may have already seen the video of Tripp chasing Levi around with silly string during his two day visit this weekend. I swear the kid never looked happier.)

I still think that Tripp would be well served with more time spent with his dad and less time surrounded by the Wasilla Mafia members.

Gryphen, on her FB page, picture 12 of 52, she says

"Haha old school, but so cute!!!!! It's Tripp and Trig :)"
The picture is of Trig standing in front of a small, not yet crawling baby in grey. CAN that even be Trig??? I thought, they are supposedly a year or so apart, and cannot for the life of me see a Down Syndrome child walking at the age of less than 1 1/2 years...

DS kids rarely walk before 2. I care for an 18 month old DS child and due to low muscle tone she is barely crawling. Her weekly therapist tell me she is ahead of the curve on development so I call bullshit that Trigg even lives with Palins.

He would need early intervention therapy and his family is rarely home.

    2. AKRNC6:30 PM

From the timeline you're describing, Trig would have been approx. 12 mos. give or take a month or two, if Tripp was not yet crawling. Average is about 6 mos. to initiate crawling. Considering that Trigg did not receive the vital early intervention that Anonymous describes above, it's extremely unlikely that he was doing anything ahead of schedule for a baby with Down Syndrome. Chances are he was well behind due to Palin's selfishness, no glasses, no hearing aids, dragging him around the country on a campaign rather than having him immersed in intervention therapy. While there are different levels of children with Down Syndrome, research has shown us, repeatedly, that those children who receive intensive one-on-one therapy during waking hours are often able to be immersed in public school programs with the addition of special education assistance interspersed with their daily routine. By all standards of development, Trig should have been using sign language by the time he was 2 yrs. old. Has anyone seen evidence of him using sign language to communicate on a regular basis?

Gryphen, has Levi ever said anything about Trig's development to you or has it been mentioned by Sadie or her mother?

If Sarah hadn't been so insistent on using Trigg as a prop, he might be able to hear and speak by this age. That woman should NEVER have been a mother. She's too self-absorbed and sees her children only as objects that she can use in her attempts to pass herself off as a decent mother. Too bad it never worked, Sarah.

I still say Bristol's so-called "full time job" is being the Palin Family Nanny. NO idea whose baby belongs to whom, but I still think that's how she squeaks money out of her mother's PAC.

They may bribe Bristol to play nanny but Bristol bribes her so called friends to do any work. She couldn't handle single parenting and had a TV Show to prove it. Remember she had to have Willow? Willow saw the light, she did not want to do all the work while Bristol was golden child and got the best rewards. It drove Willow to actually go to a school.

We all know if Bristol was alright she would be independent. She has the money to hire her own nannies. Her problem is they have to come from the same cult and it all keeps her in a negative attachment to her parents.

The child on the left -- a girl? -- is she secured in a seatbelt? It looks as though she isn't, which might mean that when Trig and Tripp get tall enough, they, too, will be thrown willy-nilly into the car, without safety gear.
It's been shown that people who rely on airbags only do themselves and their families a great disservice -- airbags are to supplement seatbelts, not replace them.
Okay. Public service announcement of the day: everyone, from the smallest infant to the oldest grandfather, should be strapped into a seat when driving in a car. If the Palins took a moment to look at the statistics on injuries and fatalities of those who are unsecured, they might think that their mavericky ways aren't worth it.

Where would Bristol learn how to be a mother-- from the kind, attentive nurturing she received from her own mother? If children are raised without affection and without interacting with adults to learn appropriate behavior, that's how they grow up. During her term as governor, we often saw Sarah carrying two (not one, but two) Blackberries-- because she was that important, and she was on them all the time. Bristol must think that's normal behavior. (It's not). I don't think that Sarah paid much attention to her kids, so Bristol has no idea how to interact with Tripp. On her blog, now she is teaching Trig to stick out his tongue. It's not cute; it's rude. We saw her parenting skills on her short lived reality show. We also saw how she got along with her sister and others in her life. Bristol is still a child who has a lot of growing up to do-- she takes after her mother.

Reading the comments from her "friends/fans" on her FB page in response to this photo are pretty entertaining. One such as "I thought you only had 1 not 3?" And "Siblings!" And of course a couple comments on the improperly installed/buckled child safety car seats. Which of course were described by her "real" fans as being comments from HATERS. A couple comments questioning WHO the "child" laying up against Trig is. They think it's Piper. Good grief...frozen in time Piper? Piper circa 2008? Idiots. And one wanted to know if that was a new PUPPY. Could it be a DWTS Daughter? Or, should I be sensible and say she had an adult female friend with her and that little girl is HER daughter? Maybe that's why she's not in a car seat, Bristol didn't have an extra one. (Mom should have had one ready!) Who knows....but for certain, her referring to the kids in the backseat as HER babies is quite telling.

I'm in Wasilla quite often to visit my mother. Mom has come across a Palin before in WalMart or other Wasilla hotspots and turns and bolts immediately upon sighting them - Mom is so embarrassed about them. I certainly wouldn't want to have to stand in the check out line with next to a Palin. But then again, I'd be tempted to pretend I had absolutely no clue who they were should they attempt to engage me in any way. It would certainly irk them greatly.

Tripp's chestplate is also in the wrong position and his carseat is obviously reclined, which is only supposed to be used when rear facing, not as a recliner in a car. I know most dont pay attn to these things, but if people in the public eye did, it would really set a great example about keeping our kids safe in vehicles.

I hope the employee walk-out on Black Friday is a huge success. Someone prompted a great tip that I've also posted on Twitter. Go to Walmart and put things in the cart that you would buy if you were going to shop there. Leave a note on the cart and tell them that if they treated their employees properly, you would have bought these items at Wal-Mart. They'll get the hint if they see a few hundred carts like that all around the store. I know this might be out of your way but if we don't stand together, we'll never be able to get ahead. Thanks!

Folks in China get about $.20 an hour working 18 hour days and room and board is deducted from that. Those are slave wages; not to mention the cost to the air and water and land in China.

Forget about Bristol, let's boycott Walmart and support the possible strike on Black Friday by shopping local (or not shopping at all - my preference).

It is the thing to do now, drugging your kids with prescription or over the counter is not a crime. Why wouldn't young women do what is necessary to help them parent as they believe is a good way to go?

As long as doctors are on board with what parents do, what is the problem? Sanjay Gupta is a hack. He thinks there is a problem with prescriptions and people die. People die anyway.

How about a show for Trig and Tripp? Really, do you expect me to work in that doctor's office again? I'm a star. I want to live in Hollywood, and I want to be famous. I can't think of anything worse than to be at Walmart, except to be at Walmart with a couple of squalling brats under age 5! Geez, Bristol can afford childcare why not avail herself of it and avoid the hassle of taking children to the grocery store? My brother and I were left with the day sitter whenever my mother went shopping. I think she took us once and said "NO MORE" and we had special treat and movie day whenever grocery day happened. Much more sane experience for the mother I'm sure. I tend to do my shopping during the day and I see so many of these moms with carts full of children at the store and how in the hell can you plan a weekly menu and complete your list with a bunch of brats grabbing things from shelves and misbehaving? I know some moms might have to have kids present because they might not afford a sitter but for those that can, please, leave the brats with the sitter and spare the rest of us your grocery store tantrums!

Gryphen reported seeing one of the Trigs at a basketball game, and the little boy did not react to the loud cheers of the crowd. There was more than enough gossip that one of the Trigs had been born with serious disabilities: hard of hearing, problems seeing. One of the Trigs was supposed to have had a hole in his heart repaired when he was around a year old. I wonder if they use a stand-in or double (like in the movies) when the Trig is too sick or too disabled to be seen in public.

She has not learned about appearances. They may or may not all be drugged for her convenience. But that is the message she is sending out. Her friends probably do the same thing so they don't care or notice.

American public does need to watch the CNN program with Dr. Gupta. Prescription drug abuse is rampant with both children and adults. Young parents think it is normal and fine to control children in that manner. It is not a good sign for the future of drug use and habits.

It is sad but true that the Grandmother has all the signs of a drug abuser. Bristol appears to have the problems. Those children must learn their odds of addiction.

I think Nancy jumped ship, her blog has gone downhill, like everything else in her life. Yesterday's post was two fuzzy photos of Tripp and Trig, the title, in bold print was "Fun with Fam".
Now this? Yes, Bristol, your kids ARE cute.

I just visited the link to Levi's blog and the guy's really got his stuff together. Sunny's parents sure picked the perfect name- she radiates beauty and complements Levi's good looks. They look like a very happy family. Tripp seems so relaxed, comfortable and loved in every single photo, especially with his baby sister, Breeze.

And I realized why Bristol posted the photos on her blog and facebook. She probably took for granted that someday Levi would be available for her as she made his life a living hell. Now that door slammed shut and she realizes she turned away the only guy who loved her as she was.

She never cut the apron strings, did everything her mom told her to, and what did it get her? Sad, isn't it?

Yeah, it really is sad that Bristol allowed her parents to determine her life. I think Levi really wanted to marry her at one time, but Mommy Dearest quashed that dream straight away with lies about Levi and promises of fame and fortune for the Princess. Anything to push the single teen mom image for Sarah's political creds with the conservative bottom feeders.

Bristol has been pushed into awful public fails at all her supposed God-given (Sarah enabled) opportunities. How embarrassing for Bristol to have to publicly fail so many times.

Bristol is so enmeshed in her family's dysfunction that she can't see that her over the top anger at Levi should be directed toward her parents. She may, one of these days, realize this and hoo boy, cans will fly for sure!

Where is Dylan Kolvig now? Man, he really did escape a fate worse than death. His father was a detective for the sheriff's (?) in Juneau and his mother was a Superior (?) court clerk. After the mysterious -- and curiously unreported - sinking of the infamous party yacht the MV Pacifica, the Kolvigs disappeared and Sarah moved the state capitol to Wasilla. Bristol came down with "mono" and the baby shell game began.

Detectives do move on but they don't usually just go off radar. Unless there is something more to the story.
