Spotted over the weekend at the Ronald Reagan National Airport.

The perfect gift for that conservative relative who mocked you for supporting Obama, and who should just about be over the shock that their candidate lost by December 25th. That is until they open this gift and once again have to face the fact that they got their ass handed to them of course.

By the way I will bet MY Christmas bonus that if you checked the labels on this still overpriced crap they will all say "Made in China."

Sarah will be jealous. Someone is still getting 50% for Mitt's blatant advertising, while all four Palin books are in the .99 bins collecting dust.

      @9:14-

I thought Sarah only had two faux-books under her belt?

      Bdull has one...

      Creepy Chuck x2 has one...

Christ, that is still pathetic, isn't it??

**I guess the answer to your question is simply...

      Nancy French isn't illiterate. She's a nasty, horse-faced racist...but not illiterate.

  2. Meanwhile Obama gear is $18.99. I'm sure that the Romney campaign had their "gear" manufactured off shore. Probably the same places as The Donald has his fabulous line of clothes done.

THIS has been all over MSNBC and Current- and the reactions have been pretty much what I expected - laughs, giggles and shudders at the mere mention of her name.

I heard on the radio that the Romneys were seen at a movie theater this past weekend. It must be a downer to chose a movie instead of a decorator for white house private quarters.

The Romney campaign exhibited huberis so the loss
must have been a shock like not hearing or seeing a train barreling down a track. Entitlement is what cost them despite mega bucks.

      Are you sitting down?

They went to see "Twilight, Breaking Dawn". The vulture capitalists went to watch a vampire movie, taking notes on techniques so they can "baptize" the dead into Mormonism.
      Odd choices for grandparents, especially
when "Lincoln" and "James Bond" are playing.

    1. It’s no big deal, that’s for sure. A friend of mine has interviewed some of the women, and they all seem to be doing it willingly. She thought they were nice people. It’s a far cry from victims of trafficking.

I’ve got to warn the men, though. Most of these women don’t look like supermodels. I don’t recall the prices, but it was a lot of money for a quick encounter with a very average person.

I am of the somewhat unpopular opinion that prostitution should be legal for the willing.

But human trafficing, forcing women and girls into prostitution, is disgusting.

If prostitution were made legal, it would be safer for all those involved. It would greatly reduce the spread of disease, it would keep the women (and men) of the night safe from the fists of their pimps, and johns would be stopped from shorting escorts for their services.

It should be made legal and regulated. The true sign of ownership is the ability to sell it.

But we as a country are far to prude at this point to allow such a thing to happen.

Gryphen, this is in the Morning Fix newsletter from Chris Cilizza.

"The Sarah Palin Effect? Alaska went 39 percent for Obama four years ago but gave him 41 percent this year. That margin may change, as it takes a while to count some of the more rural areas, but for now, it’s the state that shifted the most toward Obama. Other states that increased Obama’s share were New Jersey, which is currently dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, and two neighboring Southern states — Louisiana and Mississippi."

As a DC area native, I beg: PLEASE DON'T CALL IT RONALD REAGAN NATIONAL AIRPORT!

Just call it National Airport. We all still do. LOTS of unhappy people around here when National Airport got totally unnecessarily stuck with the asshole's name by drooling Reagan worshipers in congress.

    Thank you!

PS Teehee! I bet they can't even GIVE that Romney shit away!

About a week after 9/11, our switchboard operator was selling commemorative miniature Twin Towers with the legend "Never Forget." I'll never forget that these cheapo novelties were stamped - you guessed it - Made in China. I bought one just for this reason, but it has disappeared so I have no proof.

Personally, I commemorate the deaths of a former student and the husband of a close friend by pissing on a picture of GWB every 9/11. Then I cry unconsolably for about an hour.

GWB just didn't think about Bin Laden much after Cheney's sights were set on Iraq's oil; BHO ordered our troops to take him out.

Also - for those trivia fans - Grover Norquist was first noted for setting in motion the push to name (and re-name) landmarks in all 50 states with St. Ronnie's moniker:

So uncool that they use a photo of Romney back in the days when he was a handsome man- decidedly NOT how he appeared during his disastrous campaign: pale, stiff, always in need of a haircut, rumpled and unfashionable. He always looked uncomfortable in his own skin and when he entered the room with his unmanly mincing little steps, I always had to smile. What a total fake of a person. And, for the record, those items should be reduced 100%- not worth a thing at all.

Gryphen, have you no compassion whatsoever for that douchebag loser? What happened to your humanity, man? Can't you see this whiny incompetent standing on the precipice of obscurity is struggling thru what may go down in history as the most humiliating personal and political defeat in... well... in history? LEAVE MITTENS ALONE!!!

And while you're leaving him alone, can you confirm or refudiate a disturbing rumor I've heard that he's spent most of his time since the stunning (to him) electoral loss sitting silently in the backseat of his shiny 2004 black stretch Escalade SUVmousine with son Stagg sitting in the driver's seat wearing the stylish Cato Institute chauffeur's uniform (see: The Green Hornet) while they ride the car elevator slowly up one floor and then back down again, over and over and over, while Barry Manilow's classic hit Mandy plays mournfully over the vintage 8-track player specially installed to accommodate Mittens' massive 8-track tape collection?

This is kind of random but, I purchased a mug from the Obama campaign about a year ago.

It was a white mug with a picture of Joe Biden that says: Cup of Joe

    It makes me laugh.

Anyway, when my Super, Super Crazy-Right Wing NutJob Mother came to visit,

and she asked me - "Are you SERIOUS?" when I said I was obviously voting for President Obama...

    well,

of all the non-political mugs in my cabinet,

my mother chose the Cup Of Joe mug to use while she was here.

    Really?

(I was raised Roman Catholic in a white, Irish household...in NY and NJ.)

Ugh. My mother is such a racist. I can't change it, but I am not like her --AT ALL!! -- and my daughter won't know that kind of hatred.

    :)
