Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

Picture of the day.
Nothing to see here, just a few superheroes washing windows...outside of a children's hospital in Pittsburgh.
I can only imagine what the children's faces must have looked like.
Don't let the gun goon teabaggers see this. They'll think they're being invaded by the caped crusaders coming to take their guns. And they'll start shooting at them. Witness the nut who shot someone who had turned around in his driveway and was backing up when the guy shot him. Self defense, huh?
O/T Can you believe this Gryphen? This gun nuts stuff is just over the top!
Gun advocate tells Senate: AR-15 is the ‘weapon of choice’ for women with crying babies
A senior fellow from the conservative Independent Women’s Forum (IWF) on Wednesday told a Senate committee that assault weapons should not be outlawed because they were the “weapon of choice” for young mothers who need a “scary-looking gun.”
Thanks for sharing the joy! Those are people who love their work! They're real heroes. After reading the depravity in the previous post, this act of kindness restored my faith in humanity.
Now THAT'S clever. I wonder who the genius was who came up with the idea. They deserve a bonus!
ReplyDeleteFUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How very cool is that?
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome!! Those kids must really get a kick out of seeing super heroes right outside their window!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool. At first I thought they were painting.
ReplyDeleteThis made my morning. How fantastic! Thanks, Gryphen!

This is Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh. My nephew was here for several months with a serious illness. It's a wonderful facility.
ReplyDeletePS A friend who works at Children's said they did this for Halloween. She watched from her office window!

Wait til the Reagan wingnuts get ahold of this piece of news:
ReplyDeleteReagan's home could become a parking lot for Obama's library
A new Cold War is brewing here in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood and it has nothing to do with the frigid temperature.
The apartment building at 832 E. 57th Street was once the Chicago home of a boy who would become a President.
No, it’s not Barack Obama of Hawaii. It was at the apartment’s first floor window that a young Ronald Reagan looked out upon the world.
But some powerful Chicagoans are planning to demolish Reagan’s historic home.
