Even today it is so pervasive that it is almost impossible to go anywhere on line without bumping into the image.
However it is not my usual kind of a subject so I have not paid a great deal of attention. That is until one of the folks I follow on Twitter responded to the picture in a way that MUST be shared!

ReplyDeleteI don't understand why Kim's stylists are making her look so awful. Her poses are equally bad. She is short and hefty, which works for her butt shots, when she is not carrying baby. IMO she could look so much better if she hired better stylists and someone helped her choreograph her moves. No way would she fake this pregnancy and look this terrible. She could make improvements but something has gone wrong with her. From what I saw of her fake wedding every little detail was "perfect". She would have done a fake pregnancy with visual aesthetics.
Maybe they dislike her.

I'm sorry but pregnancy is not for the weak at heart. To make fun of any aspect of a pregnant woman - appearance, clothes, weight - is not in good taste.

Good heavens - a large majority of women in the world have been pregnant at some stage in their lives - what on earth does "faint at heart" have to do with same. It is not expensive to dress somewhat more stylishly than this one did - especially if you know full well that you are going to be photographed for the world to see. That dress probably cost her lots of cash - and she certainly was robbed.

I'm sure that Kim Kardashian is pregnant. And it's getting her lots more attention. But she isn't worth any of it: no talent, no looks, not taste in clothing whether pregnant or not, and no intellect whatsoever. Lots of botox, lots of public relations hype, and that truly creepy family.
ReplyDeleteWhen I think how hard so many people have it right now, the hoopla and the extravagance that surrounds Kim Kardashian and her family I become very disheartened. A couple of years ago it was reported that the Kardashians had taken in $64 million the year before - for what - nothing other than self-promotion. It's a very sick celebrity world we are all in the midst of right now.

It all started with a sex tape, imagine that. Someone said of the dress "Gwyneth Paltrow sat on her later in the evening, and watched a movie"!!!The entire family is fake. I can not understand WHY people think they are attractive. The oldest one, Kourtney is positively homely. So far she has two illegitimate children and the father lives off her family. I do not find any of them attractive, maybe it is their actions that make them unappealing.

DeleteI personally don't care what they look like but, like Paris Hilton years ago, I find it infuriating that these celebrities contribute nothing to our world and amass a fortune by merely posing for paparazzi and getting their names on Entertainment Tonight.
I think professional athletes and movie/tv stars are horrifically overpaid, but at least they work hard and produce something.
And add dear snark queen Sarah to that list. She has nothing positive to say about anyone but her uneducated kids. Nothing. And she hauls in millions.

Not attractive for Kim ... really suprrised w/her fashion sense that she'd go with that outfit. She's short, very, very pregnant and would looks so much better in a solid color.
ReplyDeleteShe's pregnant so cut her some slack. With that being said, she looks like she wrapped herself in my grandmother's bedspread. Too much print. I've seen many very pregnant women on the red carpet who look beautiful, but they didn't let the dress wear them. That dress in a solid color with the sleeves pushed up and a bling bracelet would have been much better. In the immortal words of CoCo Chanel: "Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman." Unfortunately for Kim they will only remember that dress. Next time she's on Fashion Police with Joan Rivers she will be owning this as one of her worst red carpet looks ever.

Very few unkind words on the entertainment "news" program or on any of the other shows. But this outfit on KK is exactly what would normally produce a hysterical reaction from Joan Rivers. Also, apropos of not much, what's with the gloomy face on Kanye West all of the time. He looks miserable. Is he any more cheerful when he's not around his "fiancee"?

I've been pregnant multiple times, and while its no picnic, the vast majority of pregnant women don't make tons of money whoring themselves out to tabloids, and dopey reality tee vee like the god awful Kardashian family. They sell an image, they have no other talents or skills, and when a very pregnant woman runs around in the ridiculous outfits Kim K has been wearing this entire pregnancy we are more than entitled to make fun of her TERRIBLE FASHION CHOICES, not that fact that she's pregnant.
Kim has worn the most hideous outfits I have ever seen , including see through dresses with visible thongs, swollen ankles busting out of high heel gladiator sandals , and now this Mrs. Doubtfire number. She puts herself out there, so we can mock her, just like we do with Tundra Tart.

How many months pregnant is Kim? Notice her belly is now protruding farther then her breasts, as is natural. Now how pregnant was Sarah at the same stage of pregnancy? Just curious.
