Oh hell no! Group tries to recruit Sarah Palin for a Senate run, her camp quickly dismisses any possibility of that happening.

"Oh no honey, I don't want a job! I just want to be looked at and paid for the privilege."

 A group of tea-party activists — the Tea Party Leadership Fund — is trying to draft Sarah Palin to run for Senate in 2014, when incumbent Alaska Democrat Mark Begich is up for reelction. But don’t expect Palin to take the bait. 

In a statement, her adviser Tim Crawford throws cold water on the speculation. She appreciates the interest, but she doesn’t “support” the effort. 

'Governor Palin is grateful and honored by those Americans who support her and her beliefs. However, the draft Sarah Palin for Senate fundraising campaign initiated by the Tea Party Leadership Fund is not authorized, endorsed or supported by Governor Palin or SarahPAC".

According to her friends, she rather enjoys her life right now, and though she wants to stay involved with national politics, she’s not plotting a campaign.

You know right after Palin quit her governorship, and all the way up to when she finally stopped the political prick tease about a run in 2012, I used to LOVE to tell her defenders that she had NO intention of ever being elected to office again.

I knew that to be true. Though I did hold out the possibility that she might be willing to campaign temporarily just to keep those SarahPAC dollars flowing, I also knew that she would quickly bow out well before she could be humiliated by her opponents and the press.

The Palin-bots, as many of you may remember, would get very indignant at that statement and would e-mail me messages claiming I hated her because she was a woman or that I feared her because she was a strong conservative. Hah!

Of course none of that was true. I simply knew her.

In reality she NEVER wanted the jobs she had.  She just liked to get them.

As a mother, she abdicated her responsibilities to her husband, family, and neighbors as often as possible.

As the mayor she hired a city manager to do the actual work of running the city while she worked on little pet projects like the sports center which almost put Wasilla into bankruptcy.

And then as Governor she was virtually on permanent sabbatical with a calendar that never showed any appointments and a staff that often had no idea where she was, nor what she had planned next. (Quite often she had nothing planned next.)

So the idea that Palin, now having made millions of dollars for the least amount of effort she has ever had to expend to make money, would be willing to take on the stressful job of Senator, or Congressman, or President, is ridiculous on the face of it.

And I have to believe, despite being the slowest learners on the planet, that MOST of her past supporters must now know that to be true as well.
