Sen. Jeff Flake’s high school-aged son Tanner used twitter to threaten the “faggot” who stole his bike that he “will find you, and … will beat the crap out of you,” joked about an acquaintance stealing one-liners because he’s Jewish, and went by the name “n1ggerkiller” in an online game.
“I’m very disappointed in my teenage son’s words, and I sincerely apologize for the insensitivity. This language is unacceptable, anywhere. Needless to say, I’ve already spoken with him about this, he has apologized, and I apologize as well,” Sen. Flake said in a statement to BuzzFeed.
Although Tanner has since locked his twitter account, a series of tweets from January and February show the Arizona Republican’s son repeatedly using the slurs.

DeleteThis little shit's words are just the same crap we heard in SLC when we lived there. Anyone not LDS, be it atheist or gay or even just different, got blasted by the LDS mafia from age 4 to 104. They hate outsiders and will persecute people no matter who they are. If they can't convert you, they abuse you. No matter how "nice" they seem on the outside, there is a lot of crap they harbor on the inside and they are taught it all from day one.
This bullshit about 'I'm sorry' when people get caught doing disgusting things is wearing really thin. He should be mandated to some sort of class or diversity training that straightens his head around, but it's not likely to happen in Arizona.

A preliminary review of the hundreds of comments shows he repeatedly called other users “nigger” and “faggot,” called Mexicans the “scum of the Earth,” and on several occasions bragged that his father is a member of Congress.

ReplyDeleteWe were just treated last week with pix and stories about how Flake took his two sons on some sort of Outward Bound excursion on a Pacific Island. He should have stayed home with them and made them do community service all week. Just for starters. Once that kind of hate is instilled in children -- looking at you, Willow and Bristol, too-- it's almost impossible to eradicate. These posts sound like something written by the Junior League of the KKK.
I've written to Flake's Washington office to ask for a more forceful response to these hate-filled messages, which, I would think, fall under Federal law as hate speech.
