The Republican view of the economy in a cartoon nutshell.
The ONLY way trickle down economics could possibly work is if there was a clause that REQUIRED them to PROVE they actually invested in job creation before ANY of their tax breaks (such as the 13% tax rate Rmoney pays) would kick in. And even then there would be someone (lots of someones) who got around it.
And where is your President? He is on yet another vacation, the middle class can't afford food but the Obama's are living it up once again. How many vacations is that now?

"Living it up." Another stupid thing to say. Families go on vacation. They enjoy themselves doing things that they don't do every day. For some of us, that might mean just not having to set the alarm in the morning. I don't have any problem comprehending that there is a continuum of financial means, and I don't expect everyone who has a better financial situation than I do to live on beans and rice just because that is my situation. The Obamas have worked hard to get where they are in life.
How about congress? Jauntered off for the entire month of August with many critical appropriations bills left untouched and they only plan to work nine days in September, the last month of the fiscal year.
My God, at least come up with an intelligent whine.
I don't want the man who has perhaps the most stressful job in the world to EVER take a vacation. I want him to work 365 days a year, 24 hours a day with no time off to relax with his family.
Because that kind of unrelenting stress leads to a happy and healthy President making great decisions.

Bush spent 487 days at Camp David during his presidency and 490 days at his Crawford, Texas ranch, a total of 977 days.

I have worked since I was 16 years old, went to college on academic scholarships and work study, paid for my graduate degree by working full time and going to school at night, and have held three jobs simultaneously at several points in my life.
I have never received a penny of welfare, unemployment, food assistance or any of the other government support you so detest.
Because of the career path I've chosen, I have never had a financially comfortable life, but I have always made sure that my income more than covers whatever debts I incur. My credit cards and other bills are paid off in full every month and the only money I owe to anyone is my home mortgage, which I am paying off faster than required.
I didn't go on vacation this year because I chose to work on my home and save the money I might have spent on travel. Without taking any loans, I paid for some significant and necessary home improvements last year and have saved nearly all of the money back again. Because of my success in doing that, I donated more to charity last year than I usually do.
And there are millions of responsible, hardworking liberals just like me.
