I have been wanting to write something about this for weeks, especially after reading about that 8 year old child bride who died from internal injuries after her "husband" raped her.
However I think this video does a far better job of illustrating the horrendous conditions that many of these young Muslim girls are exposed to than anything I could write.
And if that were not shocking enough there are also the little girls sold into "temporary" marriages so that they can be defiled and abused without their abusers technically defying the laws of Islam. As the article states, some of these children have been "married" up to 60 times by the time they turn eighteen years old.
In a society where virginal purity is the only thing of value for a young woman, where is there for these victims to go?
I am made physically ill at the thought of this, and angered that our distaste for challenging religious customs allows this to continue without worldwide condemnation.
They are child molesting. rapist, POS. And I don't give a shit if they are Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, or even Atheists, they are fucking criminals!

ReplyDeleteThe problem of Islam is that its prophet did marry a 6-year-old, and that marriage was consumated when she was 9 and him 53. So, the authorities are faced with morally condemning their Prophet as a child rapist, or with keeping on letting millions of children be raped.

Wow this is so insane... so we've finally found a point on which christianity is clearly superior to islam; Islam has special loopholes that allow pedophiles to do their thing without repercussions, Christians have to do it in secret and hope they don't get caught just like everyone else.

ReplyDeleteIn India 4 men were recently sentenced to death in the gang rape of a woman on a bus. She died from her injuries. One of the defense lawyers said that he had never heard of a rape case involving a respectable woman. This blaming the victim garbage has to stop!

If girls are intrinsically less than human and deserving of such misery in "God's eyes", shouldn't her father be held liable as well? After all, it's his x chromosome contribution that determined the sex of the child, not the woman's.
