Do you know your Christian ABC's? No? You heathen!

From the You Tube site:

Children express their faith in God and learning from the Bible by singing the Christian ABCs

Hitler youth for Christ.

I find this kind of alternative religious teaching to be extremely troubling.

Not only that but it is teaching them to be stupid. I mean "X" is for "example?" Good luck passing a spelling test kids.

  1. I had to put up with some of that trite BS in Sunday school, but it wasn’t that ignorant, thank God. At least I got a decent public school education.

Looks like this is a homeschool bunch. Poor kids.
The one hope is that as they mature and start thinking, they will question this indoctrination. My grandma took my sister and me to church with her from age five to high school. I recall asking my mother why we went to one church and didn't explore the many others in town. She didn't put me down, but said I could go anywhere I liked. I did try a few churches in college, but was away from church for about ten years. A friend of mine got me going to her Brethren Church when my daughter was six and best friends with her girls. I am now questioning everything, as I watch my little peace church die off. I believe in Jesus, but not that He is coming again to 'save' the worthy. After all, it;s been 2000 bloody years of wars, famine, torture...what is HE waiting for? For us to completely demolish this planet? Or kill each other off?

  8. What I find interesting is that I thought this was an evangelical Christian presentation, but the credits say it was done by the Archdiocese of Atlanta, which I assume is Catholic.

Once again, Gryphen, your remarks are way over the top. "Hitler youth for Christ?" Seriously? This is why I think you're a total douche bag, even though I agree with you on almost everything. You have a problem, son.

Xcellent xample of the old adage." If you don't piss someone off, you're doing something wrong."
