My favorite moment from last night's Golden Globes.

I laughed way too long and hard at this.

In my defense the audience that was there did the same.

(P.S. Here is the opening.)

Apparently, there is some anger over what some thought was a homophobic comment by Michael Douglas.

Had to do with a director asking him, from out of nowhere, if Douglas thought he could play Liberace...so he thought, "What, am I mincing around with THIS character?"

Sorry, but I know if I was an actor, and some director asked me, in the middle of a scene, if I thought I could be Adolf Hitler, I'd assume I was acting too dictatorial.

While the LGBT folks have a good cause to be sensitive about insulting speech, I think this is looking way too hard for a slight.

The blithering idiot had to play media whore and take sarcastic jabs at Ms. Couric, who deserves our utmost respect for calling out this uneducated moron! Then again, this could be a diversion for the shitstorm that may soon hit her and her stunned imbecilic family!

Sarah Palin loves to diss Katie Couric. Oh, she's not on CBS, she's not on ABC. Katie wasn't the only one who showed us who Sarah Palin really was. So was Tina Fey. And, for the last 5 years, Tina has been wildly successful, both with her own TV show and in movies. She and Amy hosted the Golden Globes, and Sarah will host some unreal show on a little know sportsman channel. We know that Sarah didn't say "And, I can see Russia from my house," but it was funnier, and better remembered than anything that Sarah ever said. Tina received a special Emmy for Political Satire, and having such an influence in the 2008 election. Funny, Sarah never insults Tina Fey. Maybe because Tina just might zing Sarah again.

(My favorite quote from Tina Fey came from one of her appearances on the Dave Letterman show. After they joked about Tina's portrayal of Sarah Palin, Tina turned to the camera and said, in a serious voice, addressing the audience. "Listen to me, After November, I do not ever want to be playing that woman again."

I think I just read something in one of the older posts about Palin saying Tina Fey should have paid for Piper's braces? Sarah's logic being that Tina made money by portraying the Sarah character. It may not be an actual diss but it's kind of a spiteful thing to say.

George Clooney is known for dating much younger women.
Sandra Bulock, who was in the movie with George, is closer to his age.

I loved every minute of it. Couldn't help but notice how truly beautiful Tina Fey is, and find it hard to imagine her playing the role of "Grandmother Facebook" now.
