It is not for the faint of heart, or for those without a well developed sense of humor.
I think the President did very well, and the fact that he went on this show, which is much loved by younger Americans, demonstrates that he is willing to do just about anything to convince people that the Healthcare.org website is working well, and that it is in their best interests to sign up for the Affordable Care Act.
And it appears to be working.

That, honestly, was pretty funny, especially for POTUS' mostly-deadpan face.

ReplyDeleteI thought it was amazing and very funny! And he has such a great sense of humor and did this so well. I look forward to the press dinner in Washington every year as Obama's timing in his delivery and sharp humor is just a joy to watch and hear.

DeleteI thought the video was hilarious.What a great sense of humor! The President is so good at this kind of exchange and it resulted in huge numbers of young people going directly to the ACA site. I wish he would do more like this. Anything that gives the MSM apoplectic fits like this did can only be a good thing.

ReplyDeleteOT My daughter is a freshman in College, there's tons of information on getting covered and they have people on campus with laptops. Well, the GOP must have brainstormed since the site failed, and came up with a brilliant way to counter this. They brought in a bunch of people, more than the Democrats, to proclaim the failures of Obamacare.
This was a prank done by fraternities- college kids are covered under their parent's plans. Bwaaaaahaaaaaaa!!!
I haven't been able to see it yet...the site must be overwhelmed (it keeps going into a different interview, instead).
ReplyDeleteI even tried sneaking in from a rightwing batshit crazy tinfoil hat site, which introduced it as an EXPOSE of what a dumbfart Obama is (going on to mention how he's constantly on vacation, is all UPPITY and should know his place is in the cotton fields, not the White House.)
I'm sure the writers at that site get all uppity when you point out how blatantly racist they are.
