Happy birthday to the most famous little political prop in recent American history, and the ONLY Palin (adopted) offspring that I think has any chance of making something of his life.
Don't worry little guy, someday people will know the truth.
She didn't have a tribute up. Neither did the lovely Bristol whose nose was probably too stuck into her bible readings to recognize his special day. What hideous people.
Bristol is busy posing for a photo with her "love," Joey Junker. (Who took the photo?) Sarah is busy posting her next campaign appearance. She has to justify those PAC expenses by actually appearing some where on behalf of someone.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TRIG - no matter WHICH date is actually you REAL birthday! I wish you all the best, and hope that in the future, you will get to spend your life with a loving, caring family, that will do everything in their power to make your life enjoyable and successful!
Feel sorry for those kids being raised in the lyin' Palin/Heath family! They are going to grow up and read all the stuff that is out there in print and on video about them, Sarah Palin, Todd the pimp, Track, Bristol and Willow (and some in the extended families).
It will be sad, sad times for them and will probably first be viewed during their teenage years when they will not be old enough to handle it. We could likely see them get into drugs, booze, crime, trials, jail, pregnancies etc. Very much like the Palin/Heath kids have already done - i.e. Sarah, her brother and sisters, Track, Bristol and Willow!
What is with this family and shoes? And what 6 year old swings in a baby swing like that? My granddaughter outgrew those at 3. She could hold onto a real swing and balance and everything. Wonder when this photo was taken, and where. Shouldn't Tripp be on his way back to court by now? Happy Birthday, Trig. Hope nobody shoves you into a cake.
Tripp might be able to handle a regular swing, but they are probably in those swings because of Trig. He has poor motor control. He might forget to hold on. These swings are for Trig's safety.
The photo may have been taken several years ago. In February, they posted a video of Trig saying his first sentence, "Go, Daddy." No matter what kind of therapy Trig may or may not be getting, we rarely see him wearing his glasses. He seems more engaged with an i-pad or electronic device than with people. I wonder what kid of therapy Trig is receive and what kind he did receive.
Does she think that this won't follow her everywhere she goes?
These kids were prepped for Sarah and her ambitions. They now are the product of gossip (and the blame goes to the Palins); how will both Tripp and Trig be able to make close friends and love interests, outside the compound? The family with their secrets will never allow it. These kids are like kids of parents in the mafia. They can't make their own life because, sadlly, hiding the corruption of their parents is priority nunber 1.
Unless someone discloses the truth now, these kids will forever be prisoners in this sick twisted family bubble.
Trig will forever be institutionalized or have to have a permanent caretaker, relationships and internet browsing are most certainly not in his future. His brain won't advance much more than it is at his current age of 6 or 7.
Tripp, who knows, he's a conglomeration of random breeding from two parents that aren't exactly poster children for higher intelligence. He'll probably grow up hunting, shooting, riding snow machines and ATV's and being a "proud Valley Trash" sort of guy.
Best wishes to both little boys. Tripp, if you’re reading here (and he might be), you are an awesome brother. Never give up on that, you won’t regret it.
Anon 4:11 Your statement that Trig will never advance beyond the mental age of 6 or 7 is absolutely appalling. Either you are willfully ignorant or you are simply grossly misinformed about Downs Syndrome. Only 39% of individuals with DS have an IQ below 70. The average IQ is between 70-130 (the average American IQ is 98.25 btw). People with Downs Syndrome regularly complete high school and go to college. I don't know where you're getting this BS about him staying 6-7 years old forever unless it's coming directly from his pediatrician.
If Sarah were actually Tri-G's birth mother, it wouldn't be unlikely that he would never mature past 6/7 years old *emotionally*. After all, that's about the mean among the three oldest Palin kids. Piper Diaper has been raised by Molly, so P.I.G. might be the Einstein of the bunch. But with Sarah's &Toad's genes and their lack of parenting skills, the appalling lack of social skills among the three adult children is pitiful, but predictable.
ANON at 7:24 PM I am not the original poster, but why are you appalled by the truth. Early intervention ( Zero to 3 intensive therapy programs) is used because after the age of 3 a child's brain stops learning at an excellerated rate. TRigs verbal skills will not ever be very much since he apparently wasn't given the therapies he needed. It is darned child abuse in my eyes since Zero to 3 therapies are available to every parent in every socio-economic class. So oif the post offends you I would suggest you direct that anger at those who did not get him those therapies. BTW his pediatrician wouldn't be the one heading up therapies. As for many people with DS achieving great accomplishments that is very true, but they got early intervention. Trig has no signs of ending anywhere but an institution, he is not high functioning enough to even be placed in a group home. So go ahead and be appalled, be appalled that Sarah traipsed around the country instead of having Trig in various therapies 3, 4, 5, times a week and working with him for HOURS at home also like other parents of special needs kids do.
I wonder who took this photo and sent it to Granny Grifter®. Was it done in b/w to disguise the fact that it was probably a year old, taken last summer when the grass was green at the time?
It's too bad Sarah is too busy living vibrantly to deal with the inconvenience of arranging a photo session to stage a fake birthday party for Tri-g. It's a crime to have such a sweet, loving child be the victim of a narcissistic psychopath who's actually a piss-poor pretend caretaker of him.
Happy Birhday, Trig, regardless of whatever day you were actually born. Shame on you, Sarah. If there is a hell, you have earned your place there one day. Regardless, your karma awaits.
This picture is quite old. Neither $arah, nor Bar$tool nor Willblow have posted any birthday wishes for Trig. Happy birthday, little forgotten 'retarded one' (as $arah used to call him)
Bristol Palin-Palin has a girl crush on Candy Cameroon - Barret and a down syndrome boy who got a date for prom and posting fish face pics and sisters pics from Arizona. It's HARD to keep track of her "brother's" birthday!!! Don't know about Facebook, I'm not a big fan and not starting now with the new "Let my friends know where I am so they can stalk me if I don't opt out" in fine print TOS. Amazing how much information people willingly share without knowing it!!
It's a joke that some of the right wing are marveling at Chelsea's timing for her pregnancy to provide her mother, the presidential candidate with a prop. Where would they get such an idea, using a baby as an election campaign prop?
Chelsea is 34, she's probably experiencing that "ticking biological clock" thing. If not now, then when? She and her husband spend a lot of time apart and they both have serious careers that require a lot of time spent at work. I would imagine that she just wanted a baby, and she has the means to afford the nannies necessary to raise it and care for it, but I guess if my parents were the Clintons and I was their only offspring I'd feel the need to keep the family line going. I sure am happy NOT to be under that kind of pressure!
I've got to be serious here. We have several relatives who did not pay attention to that ticking biological clock, and by the time they hit their 40's, they were candidates for expensive fertility treatments. Sarah's apology at the 2008 Republican Convention was that Bristol (and Levi) were going to have to grow up more quickly than they planned to. Chelsea and Mark seem much more mature, and instead of an excuse from Hillary, their news was greeted with love.
Chelsea is expected to reproduce. At least she and her often absent husband have the bucks to hire people to help them through this journey of expected-parenthood.
Chelsea's decision to have a baby in her thirties is getting to me more common. My niece went to an Ivy League School, then medical school, and just graduated dental school, she's five years behind Chelsea and a lot of her peers are in the same boat. In her case, they took vacations and traveled while in college and shared an apartment. They can afford to live off one salary if she wishes, and they can afford nannies as well. It's like day care, but more convenient because they live in your home.
Having a demanding career and choosing to have kids is rarely an issue for men, but a woman does it, and it's a big deal. I had my third at Chelsea's age and accomplished much less academically.
Someone commented that what Mercede meant about the little brother comment was that Trig was Tripp's' little brother, not necessarily hers. The mommy-in-law comment was weird though.
Mercede's comment isn't at all weird. You only need to understand how many teen girls think, project, and fantasize...especially one whose brother just got engaged and is expecting a baby.
@5:41 Trig couldn't have been Tripp's little brother because Tripp wasn't born until the end of the year. Mercede's photos were supposed to have been taken soon after Trig was born, Spring 2008. Tripp wasn't born until December, 2008.
So, you are saying that in May 2008, when those Triggy Bear photos were supposedly taken, that Mercede was excited because her brother was engaged and Bristol was expecting a baby? Bristol and Levi said that they didn't share that info with anyone until July so I don't think you are telling the truth.
Okay G, I'll bite: why is it not a viable hypothesis? It certainly was discussed plenty, back in the day when there was more babygate discussion. --mathgeek
None of us really care, except we know for certain that Mrs. Palin did not birth Trig. Either than that, he could have been from any womb from Bristol to Willow to Levi's Mom, one of Todd's girlfriends, one of Sarah's sisters, who knows, but for sure we know it was not Mrs. Todd Palin who gave birth. Why she faked it may forever remain a mystery, as does the real mom of Trig, but what we do know is that Trig seems to get the same shoddy care as the rest of the Palin brood.
@4:46 I care, just like 5:12 cares. As long as Palin writes hateful posts, campaigns for Tea Party crazies and is collecting money for her personal slush fund, I mean PAC, I want the truth to come out.
And it will, eventually. Twenty five years after Watergate, we did learn the identity of Deep Throat. There are death bed confessions that solve murders that happened 20 or 30 years ago. Joan Crawford's daughter finally spilled the beans about her Mommy Dearest. I think that someone will need the money or finally get so fed up with Sarah that they will talk.
Best guess? Palin took on the parentage of Trig to get the nomination and the endorsement of the religious right. She may have also been covering for a baby that was born out of wedlock that would have been a problem for Sarah's nomination. My guess is Bristol. Willow was too young, and Bristol was the one who dropped out of school for 5 months because of mono. It's hard to imagine Sarah adopting the baby of one of Todd's girl friends or Levi's mother. Sarah would have let them deal with it. Why she faked it? The DS child was the symbol of Right to Life and not having an abortion. No ordinary child would send the same message, and a conservative radio talk show host (Gina Louden) had already adopted a DS child and it brought her lots of attention. What is sad that once Trig served his purpose, we don't seem to see much of him. I hope that he is getting enough therapy to be able to lead as full a life as possible. If Sarah is still acting as his mother, that's a problem.
Willow was too young? I beg to differ. The MAJORITY of underage abortions are performed on 12 and 13 year olds in the first trimester. Willow was prime, but Bristol got pregnant at 15. Whether TriG is her kid remains to be seen. I don't believe it. I think Tripp is older than stated and that there may be a child before Tripp...and one or two after.
also too and therefore also c4p hasn't even posted a happy birthday to trig................i would say the gig is up. the cat is out of the bag. skank didn't birth no trigster!
He served his purpose. McCain chose her, and Trig was a cute prop for the campaign and the first book sale. Funny, he didn't go on the American History Bus Tour in 2011 when Sarah teased America that she might run for president.
That photo is so adorable AND awesome! (Who does that sound like?) They look like brothers! Which version of "Trig" is this one? Wow, six years ago, landing in Anchorage and giving birth, or was that MatSu Regional? Skin School? Where was that kid born??? Since Sarah doesn't know, maybe his mom does. FWIW Most Mothers know the location, time, date, weight, length and the duration of labor and delivery. Most Fathers do as well.
Happy Birthday, Trig! Someone remembered!!!! Hope you have a great time when grandma and siblings carve out enough time for gratuitous Birthday celebration photos just like Norman Rockwell, but with different people.
You are exactly right. I was pregnant as a teenager (gave him up for adoption) and I remember everything about my pregnancy and his birth 41 years after. Every real birth mother remembers everything!
Sarah stuck to her story of 8 months at MatSu for a while. Then, someone called the little hospital, said that she was expecting a special needs child and she was afraid of going into labor early because she was over 40 and had a history of miscarriages. She wanted to talk to someone on the staff about what was involved in having that kind of birth at MatSu, since it was the closest hospital.
Surprise. MatSu does not handle that kind of birth. If there is time to transport the mother in labor, she will be whisked off to Anchorage in an ambulance to deliver at a facility with a neo-natal ward. According to Sarah's story, she arrived at MatSu around midnight and had to be induced. She claims that she delivered a special needs, premature child at MatSu 6 hours later. There was plenty of time for the 1 hour ride to Anchorage, and we know that MatSu would not handle that kind of birth. Sarah's doctor was not an OB/GYN and she did not specialize in high risk births. Then, Sarah's story changed and Trig arrived at 7 1/2 months in Anchorage. She is on tape giving this version two different times. Yes, I agree with 9:05. The birth mother remembers everything, the time, date, what kind of weather, the length and weight, how long the labor lasted, every detail, and always the same way. It is such a powerful experience that you just don't get it mixed up, 8 months at MatSu or 7 1/2 months in Anchorage.
I had a "friend" when I was younger that would tell lies compulsively whenever she ran out of shit to talk about. My eyes glazed over sometimes, as she would repeat the same story for the n-th time, with little details different each time. I finally confronted her and asked her why she told me all this crap that was different than the last time. She told me, "Because you are the only one that I can talk to that seems to listen."
I told her that if she would shut up every now and then without filling every second with the sound of her voice, plus, quit changing every story to make herself sound more heroic, more brave, more popular, smarter, etc., then she'd have plenty of friends. She acted angry and then she acted hurt and pout-y for awhile, and I just ignored her "acting". We were friendly but weren't good friends after that, and went our separate ways. Several years later, we became acquainted again in a big college town, and I was surprised (and glad!) to learn that she had had years of therapy, and dealt with her personal issues effectively.
Sarah definitely has a need for something similar, and without question, has the means financially. But unfortunately, she's too goddam lazy and still too insecure to confront her demons. I am fine with Sarah choosing to allow herself to suffer needlessly, but it's selfish and perverse for her to cause her kids to be so fucked up as a result of her cowardice. I despise her for her selfishness, not her politics. She really has NO political principles anyway, just a lifelong obsession of trying to prove she is a lot of things she is not nor will ever be.
I am baffled by those huge 'man glasses' worn by Tripp-who wears them only sometimes. And Trigg, who drastically needs correction, does not wear them. Why, why, why does Bristol put Tripp in those oversized glasses? He is a cute kid and they make him looik like a freakizoid. Obviously the family is obsessed with their appearance by occasionally wearing their vanity glasses. Levi, does Tripp really need corrective lenses? Do they need to make him look like a man-child?
Bristol was trying to market Tripp as the next child star, or maybe he could make some money appearing in ads. She even posed him next to the cute kid in The Christmas Story (the movie). Never mind that the kid in the move was 10 or 11 years old, but he wore the same kind of glasses. Sadly, there are pictures of Trig looking at his i-pad with his nose literally stuck on the screen. Yes, he seems to need glasses, but he wasn't wearing them. There is another photo where Trig (no glasses) has been playing with rocks and discovers his hands. Imagine what he could see and learn with glasses and therapy. He should have everything going for him, instead of hidden from him. I don't care if he doesn't want to wear his glasses. A caring parent (or grandparent) could figure out a way to reward the child and make it fun to wear his glasses. Look at what he is missing when he doesn't see clearly.
I think it's just the perspective, since Tripp is leaning back and Trig is more upright. I'm personally convinced that Trig is older than advertised, and older than Tripp, but he's short-statured as DS kids tend to be. --mathgeek

"what 6 year old swings in a baby swing like that?"
DeleteA 6-year old who wants to swing when the 'big kid' swings are being used...who doesn't want to wait and who doesn't care about appearances.
A kid posing for a picture
A DS kid who enjoys relaxed swinging time without the extra effort to balance or without a nervous caretaker hovering nearby.

Deletealso too and therefore also c4p hasn't even posted a happy birthday to trig................i would say the gig is up. the cat is out of the bag. skank didn't birth no trigster!
ReplyDeleteHe served his purpose. McCain chose her, and Trig was a cute prop for the campaign and the first book sale. Funny, he didn't go on the American History Bus Tour in 2011 when Sarah teased America that she might run for president.
DeleteThat photo is so adorable AND awesome! (Who does that sound like?) They look like brothers! Which version of "Trig" is this one? Wow, six years ago, landing in Anchorage and giving birth, or was that MatSu Regional? Skin School? Where was that kid born??? Since Sarah doesn't know, maybe his mom does.
ReplyDeleteFWIW Most Mothers know the location, time, date, weight, length and the duration of labor and delivery.
DeleteSarah stuck to her story of 8 months at MatSu for a while. Then, someone called the little hospital, said that she was expecting a special needs child and she was afraid of going into labor early because she was over 40 and had a history of miscarriages. She wanted to talk to someone on the staff about what was involved in having that kind of birth at MatSu, since it was the closest hospital.
DeleteSurprise.
DeleteI told her that if she would shut up every now and then without filling every second with the sound of her voice, plus, quit changing every story to make herself sound more heroic, more brave, more popular, smarter, etc., then she'd have plenty of friends.
ReplyDeleteLevi, does Tripp really need corrective lenses?
DeleteWhy is it so difficult to spell Trig's name correctly? Trig - one g, Tripp - two p's.
DeleteI think this is the first picture I have seen of both boys where Trig seems to be taller than Tripp. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteold picture - saw it last YEAR when they were in AZ
DeleteI think it's just the perspective, since Tripp is leaning back and Trig is more upright. I'm personally convinced that Trig is older than advertised, and older than Tripp, but he's short-statured as DS kids tend to be.

Just curious, did Sarah Palin show up for his birthday party? Did he even have a birthday party?
ReplyDeleteSarah is so busy trying to make herself relevant as a political entity, I doubt she even showed up in Wasilla.
DeleteSarah stay in the truck you old bitch
