The President certainly earned his title of "Comedian-in-Chief" at the White House Correspondent's dinner last night.

I swear this may be the best performance by the President yet, I laughed out loud quite a number of times, and was very impressed with Obama's fearlessness at taking jabs at himself, his policies, and his opponents.

The end where Kathleen Sebelius runs up to help with a computer malfunction is priceless.

Here is the transcript for those in a hurry.

P.S. Here is a picture of the First Lady in her stunning dress which is actually getting more attention on social media sties than the President's comedic speech.

I believe the word here is, "Dayum!"

Only a loon, a seriously brainwashed loon would believe they have a fake marriage. I've known them for years. It's just right wing propaganda from racists.

Sarah and Todd do have a fake marriage. They are divorced now. They have shared children, obviously, and a business arrangement. They have beef divorced a few years. FACT.

Unfortunately, Sarah attempted making cookies from scratch, She scratched everyones feet with a ped egg, added an egg and some chocolate chips. Oh, and the chord to the mixer fell into the batter. She quickly cleaned the business end of the chord by trying to lick the batter off, which caused her tongue to suffer a tazer wound. In lieu of get well cards, she asked for Sarahpac money so she can live vibrantly.

    1. I am sure that the majority of the people arriving here are aware that when a comedian does well, that in the comedic vernacular it is said that they "killed."

However of course, since this is me, I also took into consideration the fact that during a previous WHCD that Osama Bin Laden was meeting his demise at American hands.

So my tongue was tickling my cheek just a bit.

I'm a bit late to the table, but I would actually have no problem reading the original headline, especially seeing the still photo of him at the White House Correspondence Dinner. I do understand the heightened sensitivity, but knowing Gryphen, he'd never suggest the unspeakable in literal terms.

The President said, “These days, House Republicans are actually giving John Boehner a harder time than they’re giving me, which means orange really is the new black.”

He referred to his poll numbers and said, “I did notice, [daughter] Sasha needed a speaker at Career Day. She invited Bill Clinton. I was a little hurt by that.”

The President continued, “Both sides are doing whatever it takes to win. The ruthless game. Republicans — this is a true story. Republicans actually brought in a group consultant to teach their candidates how to speak to women. This is true. I don’t know if it’ll work for women, but I understand America’s teenage boys are signing up to run for the Senate in droves.”

On Rand Paul and Cliven Bundy he said,“I haven’t seen somebody pull a 180 that fast [as an Olympic snowboarder] since Rand Paul dis-invited that Nevada rancher [Cliven Bundy] from this dinner.”

    On Eric Cantor:

Just yesterday I read a heartbreaking letter. I get letters from folks around the country every day. I get 10 that I read. This one got me. A Virginia man who’s been stuck in the same part-time job for years. No respect from his boss. There was no chance to get ahead. I really wish Eric Cantor would stop writing me. You can just pick up the phone, Eric.

    On Chris Christie:

Look, I know. Washington seems more dysfunctional than ever. Gridlock has gotten so bad in this town, you have to wonder what did we do to piss off Chris Christie so bad?

On right wing hero Vladimir Putin:

You would think they would appreciate a more assertive approach, considering that the new conservative darling is non other than Vladimir Putin. Last year, Pat Buchanan said Putin’s headed straight for the Nobel Peace Prize. He said this. Now I know it sounds crazy but to be fair they give those to just about anybody these days. It could happen.

On Congress he said, “If you want to get paid while not working you should have to run for Congress just like everyone else.”

On MSNBC’s ratings he said, “MSNBC’s here, they’re a little overwhelmed. They’ve never seen an audience this big before.”

On Healthcare.gov, he said, “In 2008, my slogan was ‘Yes, we can.’ In 2013 my slogan was ‘control-alt-delete.’”

I watched the show last night on CSPAN and absolutely loved it! Funny, funny! Our POTUS did an outstanding job in spite of all the negative he has to deal w/on a daily basis as POTUS!

His humor is wonderful (yes, I know he has writers!) as will as his timing and delivery. He is the very BEST at it! And, it didn't hurt that First Lady Michelle was stunning in her gorgeous dress! The two of them have gorgeous smiles and use them freely!

Especially fun was watching President Obama make fun of himself....that tells you a lot about the man! Love the guy and am proud as hell that he is our POTUS. Whenever I think we could have had McCain or Romney, I say thank you that both lost their races against such an outstanding man!

He's got perfect timing and a sharp wit. The part with being between two potted plants had me rolling! Of course it'll be worth three weeks of bleating, hair pulling and hateful rants about his bias against a certain entertainment network. This was his best since he dug at Donald Trump, who sat slackjawed and incredulous that a sitting president picked on him.
Christie got quite a few digs from the MC and others over his weight and bridgegate, but he seemed to take it well.
