Sarah Palin will visit Joplin at the end of September to talk about her experience having a child with disabilities.
The former governor of Alaska and vice presidential nominee will speak at a fundraising event for the LifeChoices Health Network at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, in Taylor Performing Arts Center at Missouri Southern State University.
Still using Trig to get speaking gigs, huh Sarah?
Perhaps she ought to invite the people who really care for Trig to do the talk. After all they would actually know what they are talking about.
By the way this LifeChoices outfit is a thinly camouflaged anti-abortion group that pretends to give young women advice on sex, sexuality transmitted diseases, and prenatal care but is really all about convincing them to avoid sex altogether and keep the baby if they do not do the former.

I mean if these people are really focused on prenatal care you would think that would be the first question posed to this fraud.

Considering neither Track, nor Bristol, nor Willow have attended college (and possibly not even graduated from high school), it would be a great opportunity for any of them (all of them) to visit Missouri Southern State University. Perhaps even young Piper could go along...get a glimpse of a college campus and dream of a different life. Goodness knows the three oldest don't have jobs that would preclude them from traveling, especially since Mom would have her PAC or Life Choices cover their expenses.
Sarah's recent video attacking Senator Warren was bizarre. It made me wonder if Palin was drunk or drugged---she was certainly incoherent in parts. In the past, when Sarah has performed dreadfully and we hope she is finally done for, she somehow gets herself pulled together for one more "speech". I think she will manage that feat again, with much help from whomever is pulling her strings. Eventually however, I think Palin will deteriorate to the point where there is no mental or physical comeback possible. Every loving mother loves describing her pregnancy; how big she got, how much the baby moved, how many weeks along she was. Then she happily recites over and over again the exciting birth story. Within a very few months, she is describing baby's first milestones, and yes, Palin, you dreadful creature, babies with Down Syndrome achieve milestones also.
As baby grows to toddler and then to child, the stories change accordingly, featuring the child's first step, first words, favorite foods, emerging personality, first day of school and so on. There is no difference for children with special needs. Their parents also celebrate every new development, though the timelines and expectations might vary.
Palin has never progressed beyond the pregnancy and birth story.
Make of that what you will.

Bristol told Greta in her TV interview holding baby Tripp that keeping that child was her choice. Bristol didn't seem to have a choice about who got to claim to have given birth to Trig.

DeleteIn Wasilla it is more like 14-16 years old. You are kind of an ugly old thing if you don't have babies by that time. Did you read any of the blogs back in the day before Sarah shined so much spotlight on life in Wasilla. Especially kids, drugs and vandals.
The standards in Wasilla (bristol's ilk) were very low and now they won't talk and redeem themselves. They are going to live their standards and take them to hell when they go.
Some time ago, the tabloids reported that Bristol wanted to get married and have more kids. Good luck with that.

On the private pay per view Sarah Channel, it appeared that was the first time that a therapist looked at Trig. Sarah said that the therapist saw things that she (Sarah) hadn't noticed.
ReplyDeleteThe big question should be, "What took you so long, Sarah? Did you offer any kind of therapy for Trig before the therapist in the video saw him? What kind of therapy, when, how often?"

DeleteSarah was so anxious to show that video of Trig and the therapist. It looked as if it was the first time that a therapist saw Trig. I wonder if Alaska Child Protective Services have any regulations requiring that parents of disabled children provide them with therapy. If a child developed childhood diabetes, the parents would be responsible for making sure that the child got the correct dose of insulin.

(Happens to be my home town and not everyone from there is illiterate) they are stills recovering from the tornado 4 years ago that destroyed 1/3 of the town.
