Now I have had cracked ribs before and even with a snoot full of alcohol the very last thing you want to do is start another fight. Hell you don't even want to get into a loud discussion with anyone.

Okay well of course there is no confirmation that Conroy actually spoke to a Palin family insider, but considering his job it would be incredibly reckless to tweet all of this if it were not accurate.And as far as I'm concerned until Palin does another Gabby Giffords style video defending her family, and denying that they had anything to do with the fight, THIS is the official Palin family response.
Which works just fine for me by the way.
There is no doubt that this story has legs, since last night Bill Maher weighed in on it at the opening of his show, and for the first time local news programs here in Alaska have started to report it.
I think this next week is going to see new revelations and, fingers crossed, video surface which leaves no doubt as to what happened that night, and who is at fault.

Yesterday, at the end of the Stephanie Miller show, they interviewed a guy they called "Ray" (wink, wink) who was originally from Wasilla and knew someone who was at the party. I didn't hear the entire thing, but what I did hear was totally hysterical in "Ray's" retelling of the story (matches previous accounts with it being an older crowd, The Queen screaming, "Don't you know who I am??" and Track prancing around shirtless, etc.) Stephanie asked "Ray" if Track had been--um--imbibing, and Ray IMMEDIATELY and matter-of-factly answered "Oh, Track's an alcoholic!" as if everyone already knew. Steph was a bit taken aback and cautioned Ray, to which he answered, "Oh, right, we're on the radio...Track's ALLEGEDLY an alcoholic!" He also confirmed that SP did seem to have had a few sips beforehand, though he couldn't say how how loaded she was. Steph brought up the shitfaced Denver speech, and he didn't know how it compared to the way she acted at the bash. He also said that one of the other partygoers, watching the Ballroom Blitz unfold, said, "I'm too old for this!" There was a dance floor set up, and it took place right next to it. Hopefully, someone recorded the interview and will put it on youtube or Stephanie's own website, as I'd love to hear it from the beginning...it was a hoot!

Be warned--the first one is a 56 minute new podcast that is DEFINITELY not work friendly. This is not a broadcast, so FCC rules don't apply & the language is very salty. They continue to discuss the Thrilla in Wasilla during this. Since they're trying to promote the new format, this is free right now. Highly entertaining, but the language would make my mama's ears burn.

DeletePeople with videos of the Palin Family Riot should remember if they put what they have up on YouTube and the video draws a lot of hits, they can make quite a bit of money while remaining anonymous. The one eye-witness said she/he counted at least 7 cellphones taking videos at the scene of the fight. It could be that some of the neighbors might have videos as well. All of those would probably be from different angles, showing slightly different perspective of the action. IOW, more than one person could make money with YouTube. Just in case none of the biggies are buying.

This actually makes it more credible. If the stories all matched 100%, that would be suspicious. If many people, all seeing the action from different angles and differing amounts of the action, and in differing degrees of sobriety, all described the brawl identically, that would be reason to suspect that the whole story was a set-up.
Instead, there is enough difference that it is clear people really are describing what they actually remember seeing and hearing without being coached to speak to a script..

Kris Kyle, co-worker and friend of the Palins, also had his way of saying he was helping PTSD vets. You know how that turned out. Kyle was also exposed as a liar. A movie about him as a "hero" is coming out soon. His whole pile of crap should be revisited along with the Palins.
Track spent time on the TV set on Stars with Stripes. We need to check the time that happened. I think it was during one of the times they were saying Track was out of country in a war zone. It looked suspicious because there was an article and Todd spoke a lot of favorable things about Track being on the set with him. Now I can't find any article about that time when Track is mentioned.
Did they shutter Track's time on the TV set of Stars Earn Stripes? If so, why?

During a stand up routine, Bill Maher used a crude word in describing Sarah Palin. It wasn't a public event. It was a paid admission event, but Sarah demanded that President Obama return Bill's million dollar donation. Sarah is very quick to react and respond to criticism and jokes about her.

It would be great to have a group interview of eyewitnesses. One of those with a two rows of people, say 8 or so total witnesses. All nodding their heads and agreeing on the behavior of the Palins.

This all depends on the actions of the DA of course. If he files charges then the interviews need to wait until after the trial. Does Alaska have TV in the courtrooms?
Todd, Track and Bristol having assault convictions would be a good thing. If they were to assault anyone in the future it would lower their negotiating power for that assault. They need to be held accountable and the public needs to have its safety protected.
Bottom line...as long as Sarah continues to be represented by either William & Connolly's Bob Barnett or the Washington Speakers Bureau, she'll get through messes like this with her fans and some of the media eager and willing to lick the Palin family bruises.

I hope this latest incident, along with the Hannity interview where Palin called Barnett's other client a 'boy,' will do the trick.

It is, however, SO much sweeter that the end of the Palin era appears to have been brought about by their own violent actions. Once video comes out - and we all know it will sooner or later - there will be no way to deny the event, no way to blame others and play the victim, no way to claim that this is a secret global conspiracy to keep her from her rightful place in the White House.
They have taken themselves down, and the victory for the rest of us is so incredibly satisfying.
