Rick Perry tweets inflammatory photo of woman that he undoubtedly blames for his indictment. Immediately regrets it.

Courtesy of Mediaite:

Last night, the official Twitter account of Governor Rick Perry posted a photo taking a shot at the Texas Democrat at the heart of Perry’s indictment and veto scandal. Rosemary Lehmberg was arrested for DUI last year, and Perry threatened not to fund the Travis County Public Integrity Unit unless she resigned.

The tweet was taken down almost immediately and not long afterward this tweet also went out from his official account.
Ah yes, the ever popular, "Somebody tweeted a message from me that was not from me" defense.

We know it well.

Hey maybe it's true.

I mean after all it is not like Perry is known for making stupid mistakes and then refusing to take responsibility for them or anything, right?

Hey, she did something dumb (DUI), got caught, did her time, end of story.

So is pRick scared of--that someone will accuse him of doing something REALLY dumb by trying to dump someone who is doing their job by investigating his chicanery???

She was investigating SLICK RICKS SCAM before the got "caught" DWI. Could slick rick have had his cops watching her, stalking her like uh his BFF Palin did To tropper Wooten to catch her "doing" something wrong?
      Yea.
      Think about it.
also two other DA's got caught DWI nothing happened to them, of course they were repubs.

If Palin's IQ is 83, then Perry's must be about 85. Oops.

I bet it was a drunk tweet. Or maybe he accidentally pocket dialed his twitter account. Oops.

IN an earlier unrelated article, Perry spokesperson claimed Perry is in charge of his own TWITter feed and writes his own tweets...

If it was really unauthorized he would have corrected the misstatements. SHE didn't indict Governor Perry. That involved a Republican Special Prosecutor, and a grand jury (presumably of mixed party affiliation) and a Republican Judge.

It's not enough to just unauthorize a post on your twitter account - if it has false information, it should be correct.

      ”SHE didn't indict Governor Perry.”

That is the truth. Gov. Perry will blame everyone but his own very, very stupid self.

  10. I guess this is another example of "personal responsibility" according to conservatives: Do something stupid, then blame someone else.

Sigh, real presidential of you, Rick. Your tweets. Shows a lot of class (not really).

Plus he figures us to be some dumb asses. As though he didn't send it. Uh huh. Blame it on the dog, I mean the intern, or someone else. Anyone buying it?

Cheney thought for sure the rigged votes were in and counted. Don't think it won't happen again with different results.

And it was up for an hour before it dawned on pRick that maybe it wasn't such a good idea!

  15. I always wondered why people stonewall and say "No comment" when they get sued or are accused. I think Rick Perry has demonstrated 3 times in a week why you should keep your mouth shut.

Sorry Rick, the internet is forever, it's YOUR account, so how did it get sent? Does "unauthorized" mean you hit "enter" with your, oh I don't know,Labor Day bbq wiener maybe?
The man doesn't have a lick of sense, he's under indictment and hopes to run for POTUS.. "Ooops, sorry, I forgot" doesn't cut it once you're in charge of the nuclear code.

Didn't Anthony Wiener accused someone of texting his underwear photo probably as a joke? So if Perry doesn't know how that unauthorized tweet was sent, maybe there needs to be an investigation.

The arrogance of this man is mind boggling,he really thinks he is smarter than us.
Mr. Frat Boy Oops Unauthorized Tweet,
Who photo shopped the picture? Did it do it all by itself?

When he ends up in prison, he has no one to blame but himself. Hope she sues him for defamation.

He reminds me of another famous Republican, no not Palin, I wrote famous. Mr Tricky Dicky " I am not a crook" Nixon.

Except Nixon was intelligent ... albeit paranoid. Perry is a low IQ bully. He has gotten away with it so far because the electorate in Texas is populated by a whole lot of ignorant folks immersed in the RWNJ echo chamber.
