New article in the Hollywood reporter might make conservatives dislike Julianne Moore even more. If such a thing is possible.

It is quite a wide ranging article that covers much of Moore's history, points of view, and introduction to acting. I found it pretty interesting and suggest that you read it in its entirety.

However for the purposes of this post I thought I would focus on the revelations that are sure to irritate the crap out of the conservatives.

First there is this portion about Moore's feelings about God:

She says she doesn't believe in God and has a strong sense that meaning is imposed on a chaotic world. "I learned when my mother died five years ago that there is no 'there' there," she reflects.

"Structure, it's all imposed. We impose order and narrative on everything in order to understand it. Otherwise, there's nothing but chaos."

I could not agree more.

Then as if that were not enough there are also Moore's feelings on Planned Parenthood and gun control:

Despite her ease, she doesn't want for strong opinions and has drawn angry responses to her tweets in favor of Planned Parenthood and gun control. "I get more reactions on Twitter about gun safety than anything else," she says. "I don't understand how we're threatening the Second Amendment because we're talking about gun safety rules. That, to me, is really shocking."

You know for some reason hearing this just makes this role all the more satisfying to me.

(P.S. The photo above was recently included in a Facebook post where Palin expressed irritation that a magazine mocking her teasing about a presidential bid used it instead of an actual picture of her and McCain.)

To be fair the article does include this paragraph:

Liberal politically, Moore developed a degree of human sympathy for Sarah Palin, whom she played in HBO's 2012 adaptation of the real-life political thriller Game Change, a role that won her an Emmy.

See conservatives, she's not such a bad egg.

Of course the article then follows that up with this:

As to Palin's response, "She was very scornful of it; she claims she never saw it, but we're virtually certain she did," says John Heilemann, co-author of "Game Change."

Oh yeah, she definitely saw it.

Well this article may inspire more conservatives to avoid Julianne Moore movies in the future, but that is their loss because I understand that this new movie, "Still Alice," is quite incredible.

Of course I have always been a fan of Julianne Moore, and this interview has done nothing but increase my admiration.

Love, love, love Julianne's acting abilities. She's won many awards throughout the recent years and actually began it all (award winning to boot!) by playing Sarah Palin and showing the idiot and emotional mess she was and still is - in "Game Change"!

We know how Sarah Palin holds a grudge and she's still doing it against Ms. Moore. I'm sure it ticks her off to see the success and money maker Moore is today! She's far wealthier (than the Palins) and more well known around the world (in a positive way!) due to her various acting roles. She'll be the next Meryl Streep and is well on her way in the award category for her outstanding acting abilities.

I hope you're not saying 'Game Change' kick-started Moore's career or fame. Have you not seen The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (1992), Bennie & Joon (1993), Nine Months (1995) Boogie Nights (1997), The Big Lebowski (1998), Hannibal (2001), The Kids Are All Right (2010) and many (I only listed the ones I've seen) in between and before Game Change?

Yes, she always gets asked about her role as Sarah Palin but that's the media's fixation on Palin and doesn't have anything to do with Moore's career.

Please accept my apology if I misunderstood you and overreacted to what sounded to me like giving Palin way too much power and influence.

I didn't follow her career much until she took on the role of Clarisse in the "Hannibal" series of movies. That role, to me, was made for Jodi Foster and no one could portray her better. But then when most "series" movies come toward the end, they usually fizzle out.
Julianne took that role and became a "Clarisse" like no other. She not only finessed it, but drew out nuances I never realized were there.
The rope was set pretty high when playing a nutcase in a believable way while sticking to the script. She became that nutcase in almost every sense of the word. Imagine having to "dumb down" and wear layers of latex and theactrical make up, and nail the role as she did. I can't agree more with Julianne's POV, but I must confess it's her inner beauty combined with her looks that make the whole package.
She spoke of her role in "Still Alice" and thanked the families that let her experience first hand, the effects of the disease and what it does to the entire family to lose someone long before they pass away. I don't believe in hell, but if there was one, that's it,

For any whose exposure to Moore is her performance in "Game Change," do yourself a favor and watch "The Kids Are All Right" and "The Hours"...both with all-star casts and a number of award nominations and wins.

Also "Boogie Nights" where Moore plays a porn star.

      That being the media.

Even there on FOX, you know, kind of a quasi or assumed conservative outlet, and we have all day listened in to the tease of Bill O'Reilly.

He's talking about the guests on his show tonight or the commentary on his show. And that would be,

Oh, all these GOP contenders thinking about running for president, like Donald Trump, Sarah Palin, and he names them off.

He says, Oh, what a reality show that would be, yuck, yuck.

Well, the left doesn't do that, OK?

They take this serious because this is war.

And hopefully, the media, even the quasi right side of the media, won't be looking at this as some kind of reality show, a joke, because maybe they have theirs..."

Sarah Palin, who always uses the word 'hate' - has that feeling toward Moore due to Moore having won acclaim for portraying Palin in the movie "Game Change"!

Plus, Moore has been nothing but award winning as an actress and is probably 20 times richer than the Palins ever thought of being.

Moore has done so well, where Palin is sliding herself into obscurity!
