Well hell that makes all kinds of sense.

ROFL! Never seen that before -- thanks!

Yeah let's celebrate the non-profit sport owned and played by obscenely wealthy and privileged owners and players in poor taxpayer-subsidized stadiums.

Where is a populist like Sarah Palin when you need her? Oh, mindlessly watching the game, I'll bet.

Except the rest of us aren't decrying crony capitalism while associating with Koch brother puppets.

No, more likely decrying crony capitalism while associating with Soros puppets.

Orlin , I'm beginning to feel sorry for you as it's become more obvious that you are lacking a social life or friends to spend quality time with. Your ability to rudely crash someone else's blog and make rants and other assorted BS declarations is all you've exhibited in your short time trolling here at IM. Have you recently had a falling out with your near-death parents or aging siblings? It's no wonder that a maddle-aged adult like yourself is dead set on proving just how angry and antisocial you can be under the guise of anonymity exploiting the courtesy extended to you here with the freedom to comment policy on a private forum here. A normal person would be more thoughtful and respectful, and not so goddam rude and pithy by offering only blanket insults for those with differing opinions.

Given your affiliation with a notorious group of angry social misfits, it's no wonder that your behavior level is so immature and your comments are so shallow.

If you're supposed to be a troll, you need to go back to the institution for the mentally ill crowd who stiff supports Sarah Palin for public office. You're in a tiny minority of gullible persons who have never been able to grasp the truth about your Grifter Granny. Oh well, that's enough suggestions for a hardheaded old man who if afraid of making changes to possibly gain better outcomes in his sordid, pitiful life of misery and confusion. We will continue to laugh at you and your fellow clowns that represent the dregs of society, so at least you'll have our ridicule to look forward to. It's telling that you'd rather come here to be laughed AT & acknowledged as a mental midget and juvenile personality than to spend quality time with your own. Good luck with that.

Excellent response to a third rate troll! As a bonus, I thought that was the funniest explanation of the Superbowl I have ever heard.

Has George Soros announced he's literally purchasing the next election the way the Koch brothers have?

This guy should explain religion to his son. I'd enjoy watching that, too.
    Thanks for this, G.

Oh get off your high horse for a day. Gillette Stadium is not taxpayer subsidized, the insanely rich Mr. Robert Kraft paid for it as he should have. High ticket prices, sure, but no seat licenses. Go Pats!

The only reason Gillette Stadium isn't taxpayer-subsidized is because all of the plans to move the team to, yes, taxpayer-subsidized stadiums in OTHER cities fell through when residents fought them. So fuck Kraft, who absolutely did try to stick taxpayers with part of the bill for his private gain, but failed.

Not true. 17 percent if cost came from public funds via matching infrastructure grant. And, that's an unusually low number. Most stadiums over 50% public ally subsidized.

Anonymous 7:42, bitter Jets fan are you? And if anyone's ever been to Foxboro, the 17% infrastructure spending was money well spent.

9:28 -- Wrong. I couldn't care less about football, and I couldn't care less who wins the Superbowl. I only watched the video because it seemed to make fun of it, which I'm all for.

If objecting to taxpayers being screwed over by millionaire sports team owners makes me bitter, then you better believe I'm bitter. I won't "lighten up" about it, so take your presumption in telling me what to do and shove it.
